Can someone confirm the CG point- I read 69-70mm from leading edge, but on my first day of flying it seemed a bit tail heavy. 70mm puts it way behind the thickest chord section, and I feel like most of my planes had their CG just forward of that point. Just getting back into building planes, and really enjoyed seeing it fly today, despite the gusty conditions. Thanks for any input.
Te felicito por tu trabajo eres muy perfeccionista. Te agradecería mucho si me pudieras decir cuál es la marca que utilizas de pegar y del acelerante para poder comprarlo yo. Muchísimas gracias. Saludos desde España. 👍👍👌👌
I see that your putting CA on the pushrod that goes between the servo and the bellcrank on the control surface. WOuldn't that cause the control rod to stick to the bellcrank and prevent it from rotating?
Technically yes, but often times even a clean template on the radio may hold some mix or trim that could potentially put the servo not at it’s centre/min/max positions. Simpler to use a servo tester.
@ArmSoar: Hi Thomas, what tape did you use to join the wing tips? Should be something strong enough to hold but also easy to remove, without damage to the covering, for disassembly when traveling.

Great looking plane. Please tell us what brand of covering you typically use and where we can buy it?
The covering we use is only sold in China, but something local in North America would be Ultracote Lite. Great covering.
Thanks for the info - I can get items from China -
Please provide a link😊

Nope! It’ll break loose from the pushrod and form a perfect-fit bearing. Also helps prevent the pushrod from falling out.
Roy Kent! :D
What kind of alcohol are you using?
Hi Just purchased the kit version. What length servo extension do recommend for the aileron servos
serious question... can't you just hook the servos up to a receiver to zero them?
Technically yes, but often times even a clean template on the radio may hold some mix or trim that could potentially put the servo not at it’s centre/min/max positions. Simpler to use a servo tester.

We like using Kapton tape as it leaves no residue, does not stretch, and is not affected by heat.
Are you bending two different lengths for the tail torsion springs? One looks like 10mm and the other looks like 15-20mm 14:35
Hmm… both should be the same length.
Can anyone suggest a budget DLG model?
Preise wie aus Gold! Baue so weiter selber + 10× günstiger!! Bruno CH
Great, though those servos just shoot up the price of this; in my opinion nothing wrong with some emac servos in a glider like this.
