For the spring holes, I took out the springs and ran some thin CA down the hole to harden it. Then you can also remove the spring again in the future. I don't know how much of the thick gorilla glue makes it all the way down the hole.
We've used thin/superthin CA for years, but have switched over to the white Gorilla glue a few months ago as we find it does a much better job at minimizing skin print-through.

@@ArmSoar Wait, the Gorilla glue was white (PVA?) glue and not Gorilla superglue?
