I’ve got a black Giulia just like yours, red Calipers and and carbon ceramics. I love it. However I find the Pirelli’s very unpredictable. Unless it’s bone dry you are like Bambi on ice! How much better are the Michellins in this regard?
15 months of ownership for me(9,000 miles). I love it more today than the day I got it. Such a special car.

@@harveymorgan1749 yes. Moving from a. Manual BMW, I miss the gearbox. This gearbox is excellent for an auto but I feel like it's either too lazy, or too tight and high strung.

I really enjoy your channel. Your attention to detail and in-depth research has lad to many of the same modifications on QV. BUUUUUUT, I really think you should give the new Continentals a chance. I know, I know. The old ones were horrible. I gave them a shot after being told I could bring them back and get the Michelin’s if I didn’t like them. I can’t express how impressed I am. I don’t think I had my Corsa’s on my car for 1000 miles. Unless it was great conditions and the tires were warm, I thought they were awful for street use. The Continentals are a completely different animal. I was excited to make my first auto cross event to really test them but Covid ruined that. Luckily, I have gotten some good mix driving out of them. Over the winter, I drove from VA to TN in heavy downpours, below freezing temps and times with snow on the road. Even at 30 degrees, there were never any surprises. They hook amazing. I’ve got a JB4 tuner, Centerline mid-pipe, and Sprint Filter. I never have any issues with wheel spin anymore. No more pops during parking lot maneuvers from the suspension when turning sharply (and I have spacers and ST springs). Oh, and the wheel hop is almost completely gone. I’m not saying they’ll beat out the PS4S, but for an OEM fit...you should give them an honest review. Keep up the amazing work!
Great video... love the spirited driving. I’m normally a gunmetal guy but, the matte black looks absolutely amazing. Any sliding with the tire gloss/shine. This is one of my favorite videos of yours because of the driving part.

I switched from the stock Pirellis to Pilot 4S tires. Slightly softer sidewall but transitions better laterally. The breakaway limits are almost the same.

Great video. Love the enthusiasm when you drive! Approaching need to change out tires on my QV. Agree with everything you said about pCorsas and thinking about switching over to Pilot super sports. Can you confirm if these are Winter or Summer? I think you said you recommend Winter. Have you tried Summer too. I live in Alabama - not as cold as NY but we do get under 40 degrees in winter. Wondering if I should stick with Summer or go Winter to balance out all seasons. Thanks.
this is a summer only tire, can use in the fall but i suggest a winter set like the Michelin Pilot Alpins, i have a video on those from last year, you really give up little with the winter tires to be honest the handling is awesome there just not great on ice and deep snow.

Question on tires. I can save around $350 on the Bridgestone tire over the Michelin. Only had the car a week, but find the cool weather grip on the Corsa to be a bit unpredictable. Don’t really want to spend any money having just got the car though. Wondering whether the Michelin is worth the extra money since this is around a two year tire for me as I drive around 6000 miles a year. Also any special needs on tire installer? Costco has some of the best pricing. Their tire search by vehicle also looks to put the Super Sport on the back as it matches the OEM size and shows the 4S up front. What do you think of mixing the tires models? Thanks for your help and all the videos on this car. I never want to go home with this car. Just want to keep driving.
i wish i had known becuase i traded my brand new 17 guilia after 5 months because the pzero's were horrible. i really miss this dynamic car AND its awesome red. only red on in my city and i want another maybe soon

I keep deciding between getting a new Giulia QV or low mileage 17 SS, and every time I see one of your videos, Im sold on QV.. Just have to find right spec with CCB and Carbon seats in Tri-Coat Red or Black ( black/red interior like yours )... Awesome videos as always !
forget the SS man no comparison, and find one with the seats trust me you want the carbon seats it truly enhances the entire driver experience.

Hi from the UK I'm picking up my 2020 Giulia QV in a few weeks and I noticed you have some front what we call mud flaps here in the UK. where did you find these. Also have you fitted them to the rear wheel arch as well ? A quick video on how you fitted them would be good.

Centerline Alfa doesnt have the titanium studs anymore, I found mine on vividracing and will be installing them next week. I wished I would had known this before I just got a new set of Corsas a couple months ago cause I didn't like the oversized 4S
they might just be out of stock but I'm sure other vendors make them since 14mm is quite coming stud
Live the channel and also drive a Quad In Trofeo White. Did you consider ‘standard P Zeros’ as replacement for the Corsas? I’ll need to replace my Corsas soon and note that P Zeros are stock on many Porsche’s and Lambos. Just wondering what your thoughts are on the P Zeros (not Corsas) vs the Super Sports?
P Zeros are just not great even the newer Fz4 they do not have the steering response, wet traction or planted feel of the Michelins. the Corsa is a good tire just too many tradeoffs for me which is why I changed them out. I am very happy with the Pilot Super Sports so far and highly recommend them as a replacement option for anyone with this car.

have them redone in satin much easier to clean gloss black is torture because it scratches so easily just over time

I'm adding rear Tarox Corsa pads to my QV this week. Should I keep the OEM rear brake pad shims/hardware and use them with the new Tarox pads? Also, what would you recommend for bedding the new Tarox rear pads?

I did not reuse the OEM shims if you do you may get pad drag and noise due to the thickness variance. enjoy them

@@autofanaticcars do you have specific pad bedding recommendation for the pads? I was going to do 4 runs to 45mph and then gently stop to 15mph, and then 10 runs to 65mph followed by harder braking to 15mph, then coast for 10-15 minutes
Anyone try the Conti vw these? I was not a fan of them no squeal before they let go.
Also was the Super Sport much than a 4S?
putting Conti tires on this car will destroy the dynamics for sure, I feel the sharpest tire to get away from Corsa is the Pilot Super Sports
Are you still happy with your tyre choice? The turn on my Quadrifoglio are going to be replaced and after some research I came out with the Michelin SuperSports to. Must say I was surprised there was so little choice in the OEM size. The Goodyear f1 SuperSport was first on my list but is also not available in OEM size.

I believe the Goodyear f1 SuperSport are now available in OEM sizes. I'd like some feedback comparing them to the Pilot Super Sport--supposedly they have better wet weather handling and sharper steering. I need to replace my tires this week as one of the P-zero Corsas got a flat from a screw, and they're about two thirds through their life anyway.
I love this car better over the f80 M3 zcp but I'm just scared about reliability issues. Only reason that's stopping me to get one. How is it so far with reliability?

Hi, are those run flats? My Guilia TI Sport Q2 came with Potenza S001 run flat. I don't really like how rough they are and cost double the price of regular tires. Would it affect handling negatively if I ditched RFT? Thinking of switching to Michelin. Thanks!
Never ever use run flats in the NYC area or anywhere with bad roads they are dangerous and cause the rims to break. for your car order the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
The car came with run flats. They were rough to ride! I live in San Diego and the roads are getting worse every day. I did install Michelin 4S as you recommended. The ride is a lot quieter and softer. I did notice that handling/steering is a bit numb now though. Doesn't have the same surgical precision. Car feels a bit wobbly. Is it normal? Thanks.

cold PSI I run 35 front and rear and sometime 35front 36 rear depending on what road im tearing up.

@@hanzlicekjuraj8297 yeah the Corsa are very soft but if you put too much air in them the car bounces quite a bit i found. the other thing is with the soft sidewall on bad bumps you bend wheels easily. my front wheels were bent when we refinished them.
What do you think about the stock camber configuration? Did you make any modification to increase the camber?
my car came very high there is a bulletin on this for the 2018 cars, it sucked it had zero camber and did not feel as confident as my car feels now being lowered and dialed in

Where did you have your wheels refinished. I want to restore mine after a visit to a bad tire shop installed and scuffed them up.
i honestly hate to recommend anyone these days because if they screw up il look bad, do some research where you live to find the best shop who does only high end work to do yours.

How's the straight line grip from a stand still compare?
right now great but from owning Pilot Super Sports on very high power cars they should grip great for about 5-7k miles then they are toast, all depends on how you hammer it.

powdercoated but beware who you decide to do them because many guys poorly prep and they look like crap

I'm torn between getting a GT350 or an Alfa QV, as someone that owns both witch do you recommend
buy both like I did then you really will have two of the most incredible cars today. they are so different and do things very different but having both for me is truly a blessing. Il be doing a drive video soon on the same roads with the GT350
There is no comparison. QV is a very very Special car that comes every 40 years. Don't think too hard. The traction,. handling the amazing exhaust sound, breath taking acceleration. Its just worth it. Trust me :)
@@ohadams8008 For the price, nothing sounds better than the GT350, you can rev the GT350 for days.. Giulia looks nicer though.
I have those tires on my volvo s60 design. They only lasted 25k miles 😅

do you scrape with the car? ?since its low. you know nyc is very unforgiving.
have not scraped once you just need to drive with common sense and I'm always in race mode which stops the car from compressing with increase compression and rebound of the shocks on the horrible roads, perfect and no issues

I was driving on the highway when I had the pirellis and spun out acrross 3 lanes. It was raining at the time. Tyres are super sketchy. Everytime it rained, I crapped my pants.

Having a unique issue with my leather and stitching in my quad, have an email I can send you a few pictures?
I have had an issue with my sparco seat. The leather on the side of the driver's side was badly cracked after 3 years. I am happy to say that my dealer send some pictures to Alfa and the seat is fixed under warranty. The leather piece is completely replaced.
oh and it was the TI Sport lol

Auto Fanatic they are brushed triple black. I believe he said they are a tinted clear.
Hey while im here. I still have a 32oz bottle of the original wheel cleaner. Thinking what i can do with it .. then it hit me. Use it in a bucket instead of the new stuff :)

Auto Fanatic it is, I committed on another video. Was not seeing great results until i changed the insert in my IK foamer to The orange one. Huge difference, went over the wheels with a clean MF and 007 the next morning. there was little to no dirt on the towel.

Ive had Supersports on 2 cars & both times was disappointed. There are other better performance tyres for less money.
depends on the car really and also over the years the compounds and batches made in France were far better than the versions made in the USA or Hungary.
I'm being dumb....thought the Michelin pilot supersports have been superseded by the mps4s 🤔

Auto Fanatic, Brother, you have made me change my mindset! With about 10,500mi on my 2017 QV, I am going to be swapping out the shoes myself relatively soon. I’ve had my heart set on the wider versions of the PS4S tires because of all the positive reviews I’ve read. But now, seeing the SS, they look amazing. Hypothetically, if Michelin made the PS4S tires in OEM sizes, would you still go SS?
My QV has a Fabspeed tune, Centerline X-Pipe, and BMC air filter, and it is pushing ~600hp and 550lbs of torque. So it feels like an even more remarkable car that it was off the lot. Living in SoCal, we get sun most of the year, so no need for winter tires over here. Just would like your thoughts.
Finally, and no joke, two days ago, I explored changing the color on my Dark Tecnico wheels to a satin or polished black. My QV is Trofeo White and I think the contrast would look awesome. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Allan Festejo, hey, my Man. I am actually researching that now. I used to have a 2009 CTS-V Cadillac and I had the polished aluminum wheels changed to black chrome. My Caddy was pearl white tri-coat. LOVED the contrast. With that said, I’ll have to find out where my guys had it done. The wheel company did a GREAT job. More to come...hopefully soon!
