Right now seems to be the time for Wizz Air believe it or not. With loads of new routes launching almost weekly across its network and Wizz Air UK now flying to many "bucket & spade" holiday routes from Luton. One of their new routes which only launched this month was this one, between Luton & Fuerteventura. With prices as low as £19 one way it was hard to resist booking a short, cheap & cheerful get away.
Unsurprisingly for the price the flight was actually pretty busy, but all customers were wearing masks and this was enforced by the crew onboard which I was rather pleased about. Unfortunately the flight being busy, means only one thing. Background noise. Lots of families and children on the flight so apologies in advance for the talking going on around me.
Pushed back bang on time and taxied out towards the newly renumbered RWY25 at Luton. A beautiful afternoon for flying along the entire route. Climbing out of Luton we entered a departure hold as we headed westbound, before turning south. Good views of Heathrow in the distance and we continue to climb towards Portsmouth and the Isle Of Wight. The English channel actually looking spectacularly blue along the shores of the Isle Of Wight and again a bit further along around Jersey and the French coastline. An hour or so later we were crossing Northern Spain before passing into Portuguese airspace and down the Atlantic coastline. Some views of the area of Faro & the Algarve. Before beginning our descent down into dusty Fuerteventura. Turning in over the sea for arrival on FUE's northern runway 01. Fuerteventura could easily be mistaken for the moon during the approach. Not much sign of life, just deserted hills and a rather bleak horizon as we make our way in.

Gorgeous filming & spectacular views ..God Bless -from Ireland 🙂
Fabulous close-ups; definitely a *Full Flight* Oscar nomination!
Superb colour photography with authentic sounds including other passengers; brilliant; up to your usual high standard!
Awesome video mate... wow amazing engine buzz on takeoff and that approach was so nice too... keep up the great work 😃👍🏻
Gotta Love Fuerteventura! Such a Beautiful Canary Island!
Ive never been there? Whats it like? In beaches....accommodation....history?
it looks like a baron waste land.
@@dianeleach9097 Its lovely. The Canary island with the most beaches, we love it.
it’s my favourite place to go in all of spain
Nice report, tks sharing and beautiful Fuerte Ventura landing. tks sharing
thanks so much for sharing - we loved watching x
Wow!! Nice vídeo, incredible sound engine!!
Thanks for continuing to fly over Covoid pandemic. Helps to sort out the professional observers from the poseurs. A wee suggestion, as there is now so few 'pros' can you name every third of fourth city/town you flyover - lets us earth bound types follow your routes. Keep up the good work. In a way you few guys are the futures flight reporter trendsetters. Cheers.
Every single Year Im in Fuerteventura best summer holiday place ever
Look out for the flight home video too! I’m in the process of editing that :) Glad you enjoyed it!
Train_PlaneHub I cant wait :D
Great vid
Nice video ✌✌
Wonderful video mate! Liked!
Great flight video.
Im on this plane in July going Fuerteventura from Luton can't wait
Outstanding video great footage and glorious views good job you visited when you did as if you go now you need to quarantine on return👍👌
Indeed. I returned 2 days before that happened. Still seems utterly ridiculous as Fuerteventura has no active cases at the moment.
@@TrainPlaneHub yes indeed
love fuerteventura been there 3 times
is flight from today i had a flight with wizzair from kaunas in A321-200 and engines sounded like from FSX
What is your first vid?
Brilliant flight...what camera/phone or camera was you using? Loved the close ups.
It’s a Panasonic HC-VX11 camcorder
I hate people that talk the whole flight. My flight to cluj napoca on wizz air was bare quiet for the whole 2 and a half hours.
The 🦉
rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr🥝
Bello
How on earth did yo find Heathrow from up there
Not that hard really...
@Train Pläne Hub - You were singing slowly slowly while plane moving before takeoff right ? :))
Singing?! Not me 😂
@@TrainPlaneHub 😁 oh okay maybe ur next seat passenger then
How did you go on holiday during Covid19?
We were allowed to travel to the Canary Islands and many other places last summer that were deemed safe
What is the buzzing sound?
The engines
The 🥤
First
10:20 sound like engine slowing down hate it
It is the engine reducing power... planes don’t just go to full power from take off & leave it there until landing. We were doing a step by step climb out of Luton. So we kept levelling off, then continue to climb in stages to avoid other traffic.

Thanks now I know;)
Mauvaise Compagnie.
So, I'm assuming that this is an attempt to lure people back into the sky...because, surely this airline is losing money on these flights...right?
Well it’s working. Wizz air is the first European airline to be making profit since lockdown and will operate 100% of flight operations from August 1st. I’ve seen several articles about how well they’re doing. They were the first to start up flying again back in May and have paved the way for others to start as well. Good on them. New routes being announced all over Europe. Their CEO described it as being “Wizz’s moment” now.
@@TrainPlaneHub Fair enough. Thanks for the info, Matt.
All airlines have had huge sales to drive up passenger numbers. Ryanair are doing loads of flights for £9.99.
@@TrainPlaneHub It's almost to the point where they're paying you to fly with them. ;)
