oooh Daughtry...I remember listening to this band with my best friend in Elementary school. Every time we were in her mom's car, this band was on. And they still don't disappoint to this day.

Soon after American idol he came to Chicago .We couldn't get tickets cause small venues. Then my music miracle. An amazing lady was selling 2 tickets face value for huge fans . My daughter explained to her that I had had a recent loss in my life. And she sold us the tickets ❤️

@@lmof1530 And the day after that concert my son happened to hear that he was doing a free radio promotion for only 100 people at our Chicago House of Blues. We got in line at 9 in the morning and he played a few songs at 5 . But we got to meet him. ❤️ 8 hours in line . Lol

Daughtry's new album came out Sep 17 and its personally my album of the year. Every song is so fucking good
Generally I dont like the new material of bands as much as the old songs but in Daughtry case I have to say to me its their best album so many good songs I agree.
Bro I didn't even know about this version! I had only heard the 'acoustic' version on spotify and didn't realize it was an acoustic of this one! Surprisingly I prefer acoustic even though I'm a total metalhead and love heavy shit. His voice SHINES in the acoustic

And also yes, the last two albums were sorta poppy because that's the direction the label wanted to go. Daughtry is now independent from what I have read, so they had creative control over this new album.
This new album is so awesome and definitely has everything people have been longing for from them. I don't mind the poppier stuff either though cause I'm into all genres.. and well it's easy to say that Chris could probably sing anything and make it sound good.

Chris' voice is simply amazing! He deserves so much more recognition! You should definitely check out Open Up Your Eyes, is not even close one of the famous ones but it is so beautiful and emotional.

Oh, he's/they've done heavy before. Gone off the debut, Ghost of Me off the second album. Not sure I'd say metal, but Chris is an incredible rock singer.

When i first heard this song or World On Fire last year before or after my mom passed, i was pumped about the song and i hadn't heard anything from Chris since his first album or latest album with his band before the new one. :) Also i still can't believe Chris has a beard now :D

I think Chris is finally making the music he is wanting to make. This is the type of music he auditioned for American Idol with and sang on there. He was the rock guy. That was the year I stopped watching after he got voted off. LOL.
