I completely agree with you in regards to the shields. It would make so much more sense for shields to only heal a certain amount and not to full damage.

Blue really suffered from a lack of chaff clear here. Against assault marksman, hackers with emp would have been really strong, also countering the tanks. Or taking the senior manufacturing spc when it was offered and going full on overlord spam. The elite wasps didn't need to be level 3 really if they are only used as extra protection for the overlords.
As a tip, jump-drive to a single side of the board to create a death ball there + beacon the tower.

I did go into it thinking AM after watching a replay you covered with tanks as chaff. I put them back because of the stormys having electromag. I do run photon on my boats, that was def a misplay there. Thanks for the covering my replay. Made my day.

I lowered my MMR 200 playing AM excessively, after it worked on this game. 😂

If someone picked improved wraith card in round 3 but didn't buy any, would they still get offered wraiths in round 4?

no. cards that adjust unit price remove them drop the drop table.
