- I'm drn and this is our final game in this week's tournament, here we're going up against Nooks. They sneak a little flank in at us early, so we're going to return the favour! Will it work out for us, or will be fall flat making plays behind the curve?

Finally! Funny thing, i legit was checking every day if you uploaded again cuz you're the best mechabellum streamer out here, especially in regards to figuring out how the game works since you exolain everdthing and have the helpful things in the screen (unit card and tech description on screen, arrow pointing at unit that's being talked about). And now i finally get a video recommended right after it was uploaded. Awesome!

@@Drone_101 it's okay, recording DRN should punch editing DRN to work harder. There's no way that it would ever backfire with editing DRN making fun of streamer DRN
Okay I fell in love with your videos after 15:55 That narration was BEAUTIFUL BRUV. Ive been playing MB for about 3 weeks now and have seen a few streamers/youtubers videos on them. And after today you are by far my favorite. See you on the next one friend.

Not much on insight this game, flanking eludes me. Envelopes my mind to many worries about counters 😁
Stacked vs their weaknesses again and again. At some point playing catch up every round will leave you exhausted and still behind.

In the moment these flank or rush games are some the most frustrating because my brain is working overtime to find solutions. But after, even if I win or lose, they are the most fun. Always leave me smiling when I am analyzing the battlefield after the game.
Think that comes from the edge of your seat feeling knowing if you can get the tower you can win it all! It's always a high-risk high-reward play but so much fun when it pays off :D

Haha thanks! Started out as a way to include that "omg why isn't DRN doing this?!" feelings people might have watching me miss a good move or an obvious counter. Tried to make them into a relatable character that can occasionally break the 4th wall for a bit of fun. Turns out I really am my own worst critic sometimes ;D
DRN is the Eminem of Mechabellum. Always quoting and using words from the dictionary hardly anyone else would apply.
Plus he has his Evil Twin "Editing DRN" just like Marshall Mathers has Slim Shady.
Awww man, Eminem's a legend! I'm just a guy having a fun. Stan always made me so sad and melancholic as a teenager. Like, it's just so raw and real, you know it's gotta be based actual experiences and emotions even if the tale isn't a 1-to-1 re-telling. But we've got one chance, one opportunity, to live our best life and make it show!

New to you channel and the game. Awesome stuff. About how long do those tourneys last, ballpark?
Thanks for watching hope you enjoyed it! Tournaments last until everyone bar one player loses, in a 128 player format it makes 7 games the absolute max (2^7=128). Usually tops out at 6 because it's rare for everyone to be able to play every game. We play them back to back to back but editing and uploading takes me a bit of time.

I may have inadvertently misled you :( apparently envelop is spelt differently to envelope. My life is lie and the editor has been sacked! D:
nice edits, when showing whe units maybe you could make the panels smaller and instead of the upgrads you can display they stats, like range, damage, AoE, this you people that donst know the units can understand they a little batter
Hmmm, good idea! I'm aiming for the videos to be easily watchable on a phone at 720p as apparently that's a large portion of my audience so I've been going with the philosophy of bigger is better and uploading at 1440p for cleaner downscaling. I'll have a think about what I can do. Probably won't be a quick change to make though!
Maybe better with the nerf but they should probably lower the chance of scorpions in the free unit cards, idk if it’s just me but it feels like they pop up there very commonly and are almost always too good to pass up for free like that so early
Weird how often they crop up in the cards. Think because nobody wants to spend money unlocking their first one, so they're always in the pool of possible units to get. Since the nerf I'm actually finding Scorpions really weak, but maybe I'm just buying more chaff these days and less tanks!
hey I just recently got the game and positioning is a bit weird do you think in the next video or future videos you could maybe explain a bit more into how the positioning will affect something you mentioned space for giants but what about later placements?
Great question. Ooooof, that's such a broad topic! They key is understanding the movement speed of your units and their range, and the same for your enemy. Then think about what you want to be shooting at a what, and what your opponent wants to be shooting at and how you can prevent it.
At the start I try to always leave myself space for a 4x4 Giant behind my first chaff line. Some players like to leave themselves 7x7 gaps for War Factories but I don't often play War Factories myself. Other than that just make sure your flanks are covered by Crawlers at the very least and ideally a little bit of Anti-Air and you should be golden. You'll find a style that suits what you enjoy by playing and remember, everything I say might well be wrong!
