You're using "Freeze" wrong. That button is actually a Bake button, which will bake your roto brush strokes and everything into a "frozen" (unchangeable) mask. This is essential because Rotobrush recalculates based on the viewport resolution. Meaning if you turn your preview resolution down to 1/4 your rotobrush will recalulate to a lower resolution mask. It WILL NOT recalcuate to the full resolution at render, it will use what is in the cache. This could destroy your hard work. Save yourself the headache and freeze all your rotobrush masks after you've edited them, and leave them frozen!
Yeh so basically freeze just means to lock-in the selection you created so if the object or person moves it will automatically track it for you. Only thing you'll need to do is double check it for any errors or mistakes like other objects blocking its view or even different lightings e.g. bright sun can make it go off track so you'll just need to go back, adjust it and freeze it again. Also yes roto 3.0 is by far best one because it also uses kind of like an ai to detect objects or people better
Yes 100% true and every little update you do, all the frames need refining again from the start. Best way is to work with smaller segments you can shorten the bar with the arrows then it only updates the selected frames

hi, what is the difference between, Rotobrush and Keylight, which one is better?
the "Freeze" which means I don't need to do it frame by frame , isn't it ?
RotoBrush 3.0 is much more easy to use than the Old , isn't it ?

which version is 2024 to have rotobrush 3.0?
Came out in AE BETA 24.0 so as long as you have at least version 24.0.2 or around that version you should have it in your main AE app
Очень интересно. Нудно пробовать.
Is it out of Beta?
Yep
