I’ve seen many different map theory guides from many high level coaches and players including FNS, Vapen, Teets, and even analysts like Sideshow, TMV, Sliggy, and Sgares. I’ve yet to see ANY of them discuss why certain areas are so important and what decisions you should be making on a macro level as well as Platoon has. Please keep making these videos, they are incredibly helpful. If there’s any way you could do map theory guides including VCT examples for each map it would be game changing!

I'm sure they will win a major sooner or later. 2023 4 of their 5 players played Tier 2. They are born 2006, 2x 2005, 2004 and 1997... so beside of the IGL super, super young. They just need to stick together and continue the grind. Def. one of the most impressive teams in the history of VCT - 2 grandfinals in a row in their debut-season and then lost twice because they got their best maps banned (part of the game obviously). TH are just awesome in my eyes.
If heretics had either woot or miniboo on an operator I think their lotus would’ve been fine. With an operator set up rubble or mound they could leave the operator holding the line and then stack elsewhere. The attackers would then have to either fight against a stack or play with a numbers disadvantage.
Same b-main control theory applies to a lot of maps, like sunset. A site retake is really strong when you clear mid with some utility on the rotate or even threaten a flank.

If Reins nerves didn’t affect him in the finals they would’ve won champs he was the best in the world until the final. His gameplay and body language just showed how nervous he was I hope he beats the nerves he’s an insane player and deserves to win.

Had PRX, DRX, Fnatic, Navi, NRG, Loud, performed at their level last season, we won't be talking about Heretics, Gen G, and G2. That is why I am glad to have EDG win champs, because as much as I don't like EDG wins Champs faster than PRX, they are one of the teams who sticked to the old roster, only changes haodong to Simon.
GENG was a brand new team and they beat every good team in the world atleast once. What do you mean brand new teams don't deserve to win, EG literally changed a player mid season and won Champs. LOUD wasn't even a roster before 2022, if you mean young players, Demon1 literally won Champs as a rookie. Karon's first year and he wins an international. PRX,DRX, FNATIC, NAVI, NRG and LOUD are all dead. They didn't play worse than their potential, they fell off and new teams rose up to take their spot. Half of the good teams from last year made roster moves and now, they have disbanded. Their era is over and teams like G2, Heretics and GENG have only begun
That would devastate herectics. TH would crash and burn. That is the worst possible move they could ever do. TH is nothing without Boo, donot understimate the world class igl.
It wasn’t luck but mostly play style. They played like prime fnatic where they have passive defaults for defense. But that was really bad for maps like lotus in which you need to be active on defense. Teams just abused this. This was why fnatic changed their play style at the start of 2024 so they don’t get countered and read like a book.
So to sum up -EDG got lucky timings -Heretics gambled and went wrong every time -EDG gambled and went well most of the times -Heretics were not patient with an ult Yeah makes sense, EDG are just lucky
