Wild seeing my old mdl team in this at 2:21, was so rough finally making it to premier just to watch all the orgs pull out cause of covid, pretty much killed the cs dream. They should really make a small salary for mdl+ players if they want to actually increase the competition even like 2-300 a player / month would have been amazing back then
Flashpoint was envisioned to be the NA counterpart of EPL. Thorin, the creative director, had several new ideas, he created a format where the top ranked team chose their group opponents, intended to create rivalry and drama between the teams, and lots of skits with Freya, Anders, sgares and others. Unfortunately the inaugural tournament began as the pandemic started. The NA "fans" relished in the failure of Flashpoint, solely because of their dislike of Thorin, this discouraged the organisations of Flashpoint, and by that the "fans" had killed the last hope of NA CS
I've seen Lake play in your video about the longest ever match in cs2/go the m80 against fnatic. And as a diehard stew fan(even tho I am not american), I have seen the similarities.. I am looking forward to seeing him in the big league in the future and for sure gonna support him!
I've always liked JBa, been a fun player to watch for the past year or so. I remember grinding NA DM at the end of GO and for like a month straight, JBa was there almost every day with 200 kills before I joined the server.
The level of play in FPL dropped off a cliff in NA 2-3 years ago. Players like xotic, clasia and even jeorge, who are so incredibly skilled, were basically trolling with negevs successfully enough to ward off serious players. Liquid, coL, NRG... barely even played, but even players like swisher, reck, junior, and so many more... who could have actually helped the lesser FPL players improve, just gave up. That actually gate-kept the shit outta FPL. Would I rather play against salaried players in FPL or a lan-dodger, who might be cheating, but is definitely just going to run it down with a negev? Now with FPL and cash cups being completely dead, it makes it that much harder for up and coming players to support themselves while improving.
Wow great production for your current audience, you will grow quickly if you keep it up! Defintely could benefit from rereading your script a couple more times and focusing on anunciation in spots. Loved hearing what you had to say though. Good vid!

Great video man just found you and subscribed as a huge NA cs fan, out of the two of these players who do you think will make it to one of Liquid or Complexity first, I could personally see Lake going to Liquid if Yekindar continues to underperform throughout the rest of the year especially with lake’s ability to make calls
When every NA kid wants to be an influencer or variety streamer, GL finding future cs goats. Coming from an European who misses prime liquid with stew, nitr0, twistz, naf, Elige 😞. American mentality changed.
There’s a lot of Tier2 teams, NA coL Revival Cup , ESL Challenger Atlanta, Pro League, NA RMR and coL M80 what’s lacking is kids that won’t piss the bed when facing international competition on LAN and want to win at a game that’s 5v5 Teamplay Chemistry Cohesion. People are missing the point. NA cs is dead because no one in the scene cares enough to make it great and farm up the younger players. With impressive players on the come up there’s a greater chance for people to start taking us seriously again. People like Flom, Nothing, Shroud, and more have the potential to turn into the new NA managers who create the next best NA teams. I love the video brother ignore clueless idiots stuck in 2018.
You are delusional to think that ex-pro/streamer would want to be managers while being a streamer make 10x more and less work. NACS isn't dead because no one cares, it's because there isn't any money coming to NA. The pro scene is a business, if there is no events/money pooling into the region players will find other games where they can make money. Valve didn't have any competition prior to valorant and covid made CS more focused in EU.
@@brok3worth512 it’s not delusional it’s the natural development cycle within CS. Pro players eventually become coaches, move on to management. Just like any other job or sport. Nothing has talked to great lengths about the lack of farming talent within NA I suggest the watch. Also, COVID increased player counts all over the world not just EU. CS in NA has just as much capability for success as EU, we lack infrastructure that supports local lans, we don’t talk about it, and not enough pro players want to better the NA community.

Theres a funny thing about Lake, when m80 faced Imperial and mibr at Pro League, the BR commentator, mch from the "Gaules Tribo" was instantly sold for Lake skills, mecanically he recognized he could be a potential star for m80 lineup and calling him the "Chad" guy who mocks the nerd guys from the other team. lol but im looking forward to those guys you mentioned, COL and Liquid are doing good, but they still inconsistent and most matchups and pls m80, bring back the old logo!
CS scene in general looks too bland compared to valorant's tier 1 scene . while valorant has great orgs and players from all regions CS just has a few powerhouses all in EU and Russia . This does'nt make for a great viewing experience . NA CS is just LIQUID RN and ASIAN CS is MONGOLZ , compare that to valorant where every region has a few great teams .
Yeah sadly with the way Valve runs/doesnt run things smaller regions will just never get noticed unless a huge Mongolz miracle happens. A few talented Korean players actually came from CS, Stax,RB,xeta, but these players never really had a chance to qualify to international tournaments. Thats the better thing about Valorant, the regions are really supported even tho they may be smaller then others like EU . Hopefully this changes with the Chinese Shanghai major. Tho valorant has the added benefit of huge new age orgs in GM and Kcorp, stable legacy korean orgs in GenG,T1,DRX and a booming Japanese region.
Saying Liquid is the only team from NA having motion is crazy too, when Complexity has been better for quite some time. Not to mention M80 (also a top 30 team) who was clearing the past iteration of Liquid with ease. EliGE, Twistzz, Naf, and maybe even Malbsmd are all likely top 20 players. The problem is CS is too Eurocentric. They need to set up a system to let the tier 2 teams from smaller regions develop. Ex.
