since i dont watch cs regularly anymore i was surprised to see spirit getting blasted by g2, but this video explains why. also snax was the former firepower himself for virtus plow a decade ago lol, 5 firepower
I've never played or watched CS, but this was very entertaining. The best joke: look what money can buy. At a certain point, strategy goes out the window when a team consists of five people born with disabilities: the inability to miss headshots.
Unfortunately it was the very same firepower that let other teams read them as easily as Spirit later on. Snax and Malbs have added firepower, sure, but tactically I believe the team was better off under Hooxi. If Alsksib wasn't the kryptonite for every single one of his previous teams, they probably would've won the major with Nexa and Hooxi. In the lower bracket, no team was prepared for the powerhouse that was G2, but in the playoffs, MOUZ had seen how they play and ended what could've been a back to back Cologne for G2. I feel like they need some form of change, probably by replacing TaZ. It's still early days for this roster, but they need to be more than firepower. (sorry for grammar error or incoherent sentences, i wrote this at 4am lmao) ((also, great video!))
If hunter and niko didn’t fumble one of the worst 1v2 in the major history they probably won Anubis and 2-0 navi. And yes I agreed, snax system is still too fresh, so g2 can destroy anyone who can’t fire back, but with teams that have coordination and also can shoot back they just don’t have anything against it.
I feel like Snax still needs to fully adapt to 2024 meta Honestly, really sad to hear this team will be dismantled after shanghai major, it's really a promising team
Now they just got 2-0 by EF in Rio though. Relying on firepower alone isn't reliable long term. Should probably have some structure to fall back on when the fraggers ain't fragging.
Its been about 20 years since I first played cs and I still playing it. Really love this game. If only valve could get rid of the cheaters already. The game would be perfect.
Really well made video, with all the praise G2 gets I feel like snax is again slipping under the radar, his calling is quite impressive from game reading perspective, and it’s not like he’s incapable of pulling his weight in clutches and important rounds.
I think it's not necessarily reads, but as I put in the end. It's not the best IGL, but the right IGL to lead all these aimstars and let them all contribute
@@bogdanlitu6783I mean it’s a video about how to tactically use a team of 4 aimlords. I’d argue it makes more sense to only have Snax than to not at all
I always wondered how a G2 team like this would do under a blad3 system. Any Coach/IGL should be watering at the mouth at the idea of the star power they have around them imo
Firepower is king because there are no teams advancing the strategy meta like Astralis did some years back, where you could have all the firepower in the world and still die to a barrage of utility on banana. Nowadays noon's pushing that.
This G2 does remind me of their League of Legends roster when they acquired Caps on top of Perkz. What are you gonna do with 2 Mid players? G2's answer: play them in other roles where they're still better than their opposition. So the firepower strategy has worked for them once before, albeit in a different game
G2 losing to SAW was insane, but not unexpected, they've been popping off recently and even if the major wasn't great, they have some great talent that i think can go far, such as arrozdoce and ewjerkz
IMO this is how the best team in the world should be, they are simply better. No need to set people up perfectly to get one trade, they are simply going to find you, isolate you and likely win the fight. If you lose, skill issue. Simply better. Best team in the world.
best team in the world? Maybe team with best aimers. This G2 doesn't even have any good tactic to begin with. All they do is running around and hope their players can get an entry.
the firepower is obvious. it makes me wonder why the c9 superteam didnt work at least a little. i know ax1le dropped off but he didn't fall off a cliff or anything. maybe electronic's igl was really that poor
Lol spirit never destroyed Navi. They game against navi where close. And that also struggling Navi when bit and jl weren't performing and donk/zontix performing godly. Current Navi will smash spirit and they destroy they spirit too.
@@Wntr_CS Can't even beat G2 anymore, lmao the navi beans are scared of bo5s, the only one they won was against eternal fire and even that one was close 2-3, eternal fire barely lost
all year, Niko has been owning Donk, its not even close. But yet I believe (Like everybody) Donk is gonna be top 3. so its gonna be funny to see niko at prob 5-4 right behind Donk, when he owned him all year (so far)

cs needs more well made content like this I BEEN SAYING THIS
someone's helpin
There is a channel CS2NEWS with 500000 followers, but its in russian. Anyways there is an eng sub proly, you can check if you like
tbh this isn't even really a break down, AGONOR does 'actual' breakdowns if you're into strategy
look up mahone_tv. His content is SUPERB. even the word "superb" is an understatement. 🙌

snax was young upcoming talent and taz was old experienced guy, now snax is old experienced and taz is coach lol
@@lil_sadness love to see it
I'm happy to see Snax back. He sits on so much experience and the fact his aim is up there as well makes him still a power house
Huh that's a poor timing, he just had multiple stinkers during EPL group stage, with Snax poor aim on display.

You should honestly post more often. You'll make a success out of this easily. Very entertaining.
They do take a lot of effort and time, but I’m working on it!
As a Polish gut who last had interest in CS overall was at VirtusPro's prime, it's cool to see Snax and TaZ still kickin'!
Great video as well.
Neo is also a coach for FaZe :)
easily the best channel for pro cs and cs2 content.
So happy to see more content from you, especially as someone who always enjoyed your Yu-Gi-Oh content!
it’s a miracle that Spirit went from this to winning a major in just a few months
Lmfao this needs a part 2 after G2 absolutely dogwalked spirit in blast premier finales.
Lol Donk and Zont1x becomes the youngest Major winner in CS History. Major winner: Donk 1 | Niko: 0
Great video and excellent mix of information, formality and humour.
Wow! This guy is good!
If only money could buy a Major
We can have all perfect strats we wanted but in the end. CS is all about clicking some heads to win. Nice video
nobody has ever seen phy and shroud in the same room together

Fun fact: G2 destroyed the losing bracket so hard that the whole team get drug tested

This is what peak G2 post Hooxi looked like, just pure firepower + cool heads + decent strats and reads on their opponent.
These videos are amazing and I love your content, you will definitely have 50k subs by next year

Really well made analysis video. I really think you can compete with the established channels.
mongolz my beloved, giving us the opportunity for this of all things
Just finished watching Eternal Fire vs Vitality, could be a great follow-up for this video on how raw firepower just wins
And they did it again at the Blast World Finals. NiKo, m0nesy, and Malbs OWN DONK AND SPIRIT
Really liked the high quality thought out video, not some i destroyed 10 cheaters in premier type video
