  • Zenith Aircraft's demo pilot Roger Dubbert demonstrates a few take-offs and landings in the Zenith CH 750 Cruzer light sport kit aircraft, powered by a UL350i engine. Not that the CH 750 Cruzer model takes-off and lands in surprisingly short distances (despite being called a "cruiser" and not a "STOL" design).
    The popular all-metal Zenith CH 750 CRUZER is an economical all-metal two-seat cross-country cruiser that you can easily and quickly build yourself, and fly with your Sport Pilot license. The CH 750 CRUZER is the “on-airport” version of the popular STOL CH 750 “off-airport” light sport utility kit plane, famous for its roomy cabin with comfortable side-by-side seating and easy cabin access from both sides. While influenced by its well-known STOL predecessors (the STOL CH 701 “Sky Jeep”, the STOL CH 750 and three-seat CH 750-SD sport utility aircraft), the CH 750 Cruzer is an all-new design optimized as an economical cross-country cruiser for typical (airport) operations.

    That was a beautiful yellow Air Tractor and a he was a damn fine pilot , showed on his landing. The guy piloting the Air Tractor has probably took off and landed 12 times by that time of the day! Refueling, toss his piss bottle out , supervise the loaders pumping chemicals in that giant tank. Modern Air Tractors can carry 900 gallons of fluid! Most are all turbine egine now.

    I find this inspiring. The plane I am training in currently is nothing like as easy-going and is difficult to land. I can't decide whether this is a good thing - learning in a low-wing, agile microlight.

    I’d love to see the super duty going out in fields maybe a camping trip loaded out with gear. Also more on actual cross country speeds. Starting to really consider which to build!

    Great Video...I have a few questions. What speed or RPM are you aiming for on Take-off? What are your speed differences between flap and no-flap landings? What Prop setting are you using? What EGT do you normally see on take-off and in flight? In the video you were talking EGT's in the 300's, I am seeing 14-1500 on take-off and in the 12-1300 range at cruise, which is now concerning me...

    Great video. I didn't hear aeromomentum mentioned. Have you had any experience with them? Would the cowling look the same as on the U.L. model (since the aeromomentum is liquid cooled)? Thanks

    ? Bush plane on a 1200 strip is not what I would think. More like 300 gravel bar

    • @zenithac
      @zenithac  4 года назад +1

      Agreed. The CH 750 Cruzer is not designed to be a bushplane - it is equipped with small wheels (with wheel fairings) for paved airport / smooth grass operations.
