- A few take-offs and landings in the CH750 Cruzer light sport aircraft on a calm day.
The Zenith CH 750 Cruzer is the "on-airport" version of the popular STOL CH 750 "sky jeep," optimized as an economical cruiser, but as you can see, the CH750 Cruzer also takes off and landing is surprisingly short distances.
The Zenith CH 750 CRUZER is an economical all-metal two-seat cross-country cruiser that you can easily and quickly build yourself, and fly with your Sport Pilot license. The CH 750 CRUZER is the “on-airport” version of the popular STOL CH 750 “off-airport” light sport utility kit plane, famous for its roomy cabin with comfortable side-by-side seating and easy cabin access from both sides. While influenced by its well-known STOL predecessors (the STOL CH 701 “Sky Jeep”, the STOL CH 750 and four-seat CH 801 sport utility aircraft), the CH 750 Cruzer is an all-new design optimized as an economical cross-country cruiser for typical (airport) operations.
The complete kit for the CH 750 Cruzer is even quicker and easier to build than the STOL CH 750, which averages under 400 hours kit assembly time. The all-new CH 750 design is available as a new easy-to-build kit which revolutionizes ease and simplicity of construction, drawing upon Zenith’s decades of experience in the kit industry.
The CH750 Cruzer shows economical cruise speed yet is easy to fly with a slow landing speed. The huge cabin, side-by-side seating, easy cabin access though two huge doors, adjustable seats, new raised skylight and increased cabin height, the simplicity of a standard tricycle gear, and spectacular “wrap-around” visibility make the Cruzer an excellent choice for the Sport Pilot. In addition, a wide variety of engine choices are available including UL Power, Continental, Rotax, Lycoming, Jabiru, Corvair, Viking and other auto conversions.

Love this model.👍
My retirement project!
Good job
Nice fun. 40 knot winds at my field today and snow for the weekend. Bummer.
In the notification thumbnail, it looks like this Zenith has retractable gear 😂
I'm your 120th like and cool video
With the right hand needed to control the "stick", how does that work in flight when accessing the instruments in the center of the cockpit i.e. radio, the center console, or perhaps an iPad on the passenger side? It would seem awkward or dangerous if you needed to take your hand off the "stick" during a critical phase of flight to access these instruments... i.e. landing or take-off for example. Just curious how it all works. The right hand 'stick' position does give good access in and out of the aircraft, however.
Pretty good wing struts, like Cessna,if I'd buy one I'll provide trottle like Piper Arrow ,in the center of dash and a couple of yoke !
I love this airplane - they should try one with electric motor...
It's being developed. Check this out: facebook.com/nuncats/
What is his left hand controlling? Throttle?
Yes
What is your best rate of climb speed. Also the power off glide speed?
It's going to vary slightly from one build to the next, but the standard Vy for the Cruzer is about 70 mph and at least one person has stated that their Vbg was about 9.3:1, also at 70 mph.
The stick belongs to the left hand..
