- Lola my yellow crowned amazon just loves to be heard!
We love nothing more than getting her high on life learning new words on cue!!
Parrots are always great fun when they are talking!
I find her hilarious when she speaks, even after 14 years!
Communication is key to a healthy flock and this is a great way to achieve this!! It’s not as hard as you may think and well worth giving a try!
I hope you enjoy this crazy little bundle of you!

Love your Videos
Wow I just love this channel. I hammered the like button…I subscribed, As requested… Does that make me deserving of a treat lol…Lola and yourself won me over! Great job with your bird. I watched tons of these videos and you seem to have such a great interaction and obviously understand communication is a two-way street. I don’t have a bird, at this point in my life I’m unlikely to have one. I have a 14-year-old Labrador and I love her to bits. Maybe I’ll do foster or something when I have more time🦜☮️💐💜🕊🐕
Wonderful and helpful!
That was Insane
Your so cute and the bird is cool also
It's interesting because my eclectus parrot will answer me in context on cue in the shower or the window, but only if I'm not facing him. And I never did capturing to get him to say things in context or on cue, he just started doing it on his own. I would say things over and over to him while looking into his eyes and watching them "pin". He seemed really interested, but only wants to practice or repeat things when he's alone or not facing anyone. I don't know how to get him to do it when he's facing us. When he's on his own outside I'll hear him speak in context on his own though. He'll see a bird and say "hi bird!" or he'll look up and see a vulture and say "what's that? BIG bird! wow". If I ask "what's a doggy say?", he'll say "Woof woof". If I ask are you a turkey, he'll gobble and so on. But he just won't say anything to our faces, we have to have our backs to him for some odd reason, like he's shy. The only exception is in the morning when we pull up his cage cover, he'll yell peekaboo at us to be funny. I've treated him for it but it seems to be the only time he wants to do it lol.
My female eclectus was a closet speaker (would talk when we were not directly interacting) so I clicked trained her first for other tricks. Like touch the stick, hear a click then get a treat. Wave, hear the click then get a treat. Once she learned treats come right before a treat I then moved on to holding the clicker at times I new she would talk. I would click then run over with a treat. Because she already understood the concept of the clicker she began understanding the treat I was bringing after talking was because she talked because the click captured the exact moment she said something. Just running over with a treat when not in training mode can make them not correlate the talking got them it which is why the clicker helps a lot. Once she got the idea I then started getting closer and closer. Now she will have full conversations with me while on my hand or shoulder. If your bird is already clicker trained to understand if they do a cool trick they hear a click and then a treat is coming just go strait to holding the clicker and a handful of treats at times when they naturally talk. Good luck. My girl now has over 300 word/phrases and can have full conversations with anyone!
Well he's already clicker trained to fetch, roll over, fly, potty, play basketball, bring be tissues, etc. I have clicked when he yells words randomly, but it's hard to always have a clicker or treat in hand. Especially since he most wants to talk in the shower lol. But I'll try to bring it in there and see what happens! I'd love to see a video of your female talking. @@lilangelfarm174
My dyha coco went crazy the whole time I was listening to this video ❤❤
I really liked it.

Hola saludos desde san jose costa rica que hombre mas bello tan bello como el loro cuidelo mucho mi angel god blees you dale frutas y verduras
Cute! What treats are you giving her?
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
While my CAG will announce at dusk 'What time is it?' because all the birds get their bedtime snacks before they go to sleep, and then when I come into the room, if all the other birds aren't in their cages waiting, he will say, 'Everybody in the cage!' until they all go. So they will all be ready when I bring the snacks around. BUT..... He will not say 'It's time to go to sleep' or 'goodnight' until HE'S ready to go to sleep! Which is conveniently after he gets done eating his snacks.
Brother
Very good video
Loved it
😍😍😍😍😘😘
I love you
Thank you for this video sir

@@craigscrazyflock3810 I wanted to ask you something, what do you think of harnesses for free flight training ? I'm looking for experts opinions 😎
I feel different things work for different people, not something I have used but I know many that have.
Any suggestions on how to introduce my baby parrotlet to bathing?
What training treat do you use? I use pistachios but they too big and take a while to eat. Also I’m pretty sure they are not the healthiest for parrots so I need a new training treat.
How to start in the first place ?like baby Amazonian parrots who bites and can eat in their own
What are you rewarding her with
I’ve just got a yellow crowned amazon. I also have an orange winged Amazon and 2 Indian ringnecks 🥰🥰
Are you in England?
I have the same bird! His name is Boomer and it used to be my grandma’s, but she passed away when I was 1-2 years old. His name is Boomer and because of him, I fell in love with birds! I just don’t know how old he/she is and I don’t know what gender my bird is lol ): but do you have any dietary suggestions? I mostly feed him/her nuts (heLOVES peanuts) (:
Add fruits and vegetables!
Hi Craig need your advice my 2 budgies keep biting my fingers tip do you or anyone else know what I can do to tame them the don’t like being outside the cage and they newer bit my hand before I give them millet every time I stick my hand in there should I keep doing this or try something else love your birds by the way
Just be patient and let them come to you ☺️

Hiya can you do a video on how to clip a birds nails ,it’s to stressful at the vets so I’ve been trying to towel train my African grey at home but I’m struggling ,or what is the best way to put the towel round her ,she doesn’t like it at all ..thanks 😊👍
What's the purpose of clipping a bird's nails?
That’s a great one I shall do a video on preventing the need for it, and if needed then ways to do so!
Thanks so much ,😁
From what age do they take training
Hello, I just got one and he’s about 8 months. he’s very aggressive and i can’t even hold him. any tips???
I want mine to talk as well
Hello May I know what’s the treat you gave her please?
Have I seen Bean?
I have a dbl yellow headed ! Thy
Please, tell me how better to hold as a pet, one or one pair of blue fronted amazon? I have a boy (near 4 years old ) and recent i got an 8 months old girl for him. In the last few weeks, he's become aggressive towards me. Will it be permanent or shortly? What am I supposed to do to keep him on my side? Thanks! I am very anxious and nervous about his attitude and I would like to know if he will return to me as he was before or not. What should I do? I am a poor old man who has in this world only a parrot and a few dollars a day, the vets ask me many hundreds of dollars for a little advice. Shame on them! Please can someone help me with a free advice. Thank you !

@@craigscrazyflock3810 ?
I'm trying 😪 😫 😩 but nothing happens 😕 😪
That’s the thing not every parrot will talk, just keep chatting to your bird the more the better.
@@craigscrazyflock3810 thank you 😊
Is in a parrot is a boy or a girl ❓
u have just like my parrot but he a man
Sorry, but this means nothing for 50% of Amazons, which aren’t motivated by food.
I can have his favorite food in the world, and he doesn’t care at all about food when interacting with me. And he’s not a big eater to begin with, but maintains ideal weight.
Hello! It’s about understanding the science behind achieving the motivation, creating the drive for their favourite foods. You are correct in saying it doesn’t come naturally to 50% however it can be achieved in 100%.
Are you kidding me? I cant even get my bird to call me by my own name, I been Ricky for over 8 years now. Im sure she is laughing at me. But let me share something with you, maybe you can explain this
ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=peaches+einstein+sonata
then maybe you can tell me how to get her to teach this to me, I been trying to learn for years. Hugs & tickles for the lil sweety Lola!
You are echoing in that room and I can’t understand you.
