Can't stop watching your shit, even though I prefer trap beats over old school ones. You are not only an inspiration in terms of producing, you're also an incredibly good and sincere person. I wish you all the best in your recovery once again.
Finally and thanks to you I found Serato! I have been working with NI Battery and an AKAI MPD26 for years now and it's sheer pain to chop samples that way. Thank you very much!
Just bought it yesterday and I'm doing the same thing right now (beat banging). When I tested it when it was released - I was sceptical, felt like I don't need it but I gave it a shot after I saw sale thing and maaaan DAAAMN. That's the workflow speed improvement BEAST for me! This + software like Atlas, RX950 + DAW... Good days for sample-based producers.
@@AccurateBeats I was a fan of your scratching since the very beginning i think you had like 3-4 k subs when i first found this channel 😂 so that means your scratching is really good ✌️
You did tell Me that I could use Serato Sampler as a VST in Machine. Well I finally got around to it. I am also taking your workflow class. Im taking my time, but this explains it and I kinda understand. I have no musical knowledge but I am slowly getting it.
Ohkami Music it absolutely is! Completely changed my workflow. So quick to audition ideas and throw out the crap. Has led to so many happy accidents too that I never would have stumbled across in Maschine. Would definitely recommend it.
I can attest to the happy accidents. I found so much cool shit by accident. I don't use the set chops I use the random button. It just works for me alot better than way
For things like this I just capture all of the audio at ones in my zoom recorder. Thats just easier for these youtube projects. Otherwise I normally record my scratches into the sampler in maschine and converts them into "audio tracks"... Still waiting for Maschine to get proper audio tracks in the sequencer though. Thanks a lot for watching!
About idea for new videos - some QA episodes could be interesting. But to be honest - I personally prefer videos with some plan (like a bullet list of topics you want to talk about, not 100% freestyle). It’s easier later to find specific video. So for example - episode about reverbs and delays you use (especially if you use some plugins, not platform specific ones), your favorite saturation/tape plugins and how you use them and stuff like that.
Haven't seen anything from this youtuber for awhile now. His name is Husky. Home base is in Sylvan Lake about an hour away from me. He had a live chat 3-4 times a week, using FL studio 10. His chat had about 30-50 people online all the time. He had Superchat on as well and some moderators. Like you he has a gift for interacting with his audience while he was making his beats. Don't know if anyone in the comments knows the person I'm referring to. I'd like to see a format like that, maybe on the weekends.
Nice beat. An opinion, talking video would be a great addition. You could talk about the latests music production news, where you see the industry going, successes and failures, maybe even feature some tracks from your viewers.
Hi, does the drag and drop feature still work with serato when recorded into the maschine daw? can you drag the serato parts directly into logic or FL....
Does anyone know how to set up the drum pads for the Machine Micro Mk3 in Serato sample ? I only have 1 pad activated in which only plays the beginning of the song please help
This is likely a dumb question, but do your records just have dope vocal lines on them that you use for your cuts? Like are they specifically created for cuts in hip hop tracks?
This is neat. Question for you - I've seen you use this and just the auto-transient map in Maschine. Which do you actually like better? I'm seeing a huge difference?
Congrats with milestones Accurate, well deserved! Yes, totally. Keeping it real and on-a-spot, with more raw footage is one feature attracts me the most. While more polished and prepped reviews take time and efforts to prepare. Watching/listening lively live music-in-making keeps you inspired, learning and "connected" while you do work or else. I think many would agree, experiencing fast paced (means as it happens in real life, including mistakes and happy-accidents) as well as casual (oppose to lectured and imposed) makes it home. We just see how _you_ do it. Enjoying your art and maybe pick something to steal into your own work flow. I was at similar dilemma (I can't do vids as cool), but would I post my "polished" release music and drafts/live/improvs on the same channel? I like sharing the second bulk, it's indeed as important as you like to get feedback on the final product. We don't want listening each other on iTunes stores, can afford better/wider experiences with new technologies :) So for me, few months back I came up with Prockjet, with resemblance to "prockjekt in making" and fast made/shared "prock jets", for my improve, wip shares on many music platforms :) Just an idea to variate name in the program name. For ex., "AcuteRate Beats" :) Means beatmaking shipped at acute rate from the mad-professor sound lab, so expect most krazy and lively art in-making in this program :)
oh, maybe that came out wrong. I ran the signal of the sample through "Guitar Rig" that has a built in tuner. Thats where I realized the sample was out of tune. My bad.
Ok, but either my question still stands, or i am really dumb lol I mean, i am only familiar with ableton's tuner, which only analyzes mono notes, if i'd run a chord through it, it just wont show any note at all, let alone if i do it with an entire song, thats what's confusing me. Does guitar rig's tuner work with polyphonic material, or even songs?? Thats insanely useful if that's the case
Nah, not really. Serato sample analyzes the track and identifies the overall key of the song but the way I use the tuner in Guitar rig it much less complicated. I just apply it to the group where my samples are, then I play my chop over and over again through the tuner (which just finds monophonic notes, as a normal tuner). Sometimes it helps to add a reverb to the slice and let the tuner try to find the pitch, sometimes I run it through a LP filter to make it even easier. I did this process for some of the slices and realized a lot of them where way off center. Many slices where detected as to be A# but super way off the "exact A#". I saw a pattern and felt the need to return the sample (as shown) and it was way closer to perfect pitch after that. So... No special tuner... Just a bit of cheap tricks and a lot of patience.
I see. By the way you mentioned it in the video so casually it seemed like you had indeed some special tuner lol Appreciate your feedback a lot! Will start using these tricks asap
i like the idea for the new type of videos. Defenetily give it a try :-) If you want to focus on current things going on or things being published you could call it plainly „Newsflash“
Thank you! I really likt chopping my samples with just the Maschine MK3 hardware. I really enjoy the tactile feeback you get from using knobs for that kind of stuff. At the same time, I really love the way Serato Sample gives me realtime time stretching and pitch shifting. It really makes it possible without getting any artifacts or noises in the audio. It's just a different workflow and the automatic "find samples" function comes in really handy from time to time.
i hate to say it, but i hate the voice that says 'accutate beats' in the intro it's like the worst producer tag i ever heard and therefore at the same time it's the worst youtube intro i've ever heard not even sure how it is possible to be both overall great beat, but i would love to see more then 1 instance from serato sample working together, like maybe chop up a break as well, in addition to the sample?
yeah, I know... The "producer tag" isn't the nicest but it is taken from an episode of "Sonic Talk Podcast" where the youtube music tech nerd king of all time Nick Batt was mentioning my name so.. Its kind of an homage to him at the same time?... :/ I was thinking of using a couple of instances of Sample for this video but I ended up just keeping the drum samples I picked since I had a struggle getting the bassline to work. Thanks a lot for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

Génial ta vidéo! Tes Explications sont très claires !
The detune trick just saved my life...thank you man!!!!!
Damn I'm still having issues lining up my bass with the sample
Detune, never even knew it was there.
your work area is sooooo super clean!! nice ,i like ...
Love this. I'm convinced. Grabbing Sample now. Any recommendations on a tuner though?
Im glad you decided to upload more, your channel is so underrated 🙏

Great idea, love hearing you explain and talk about your music production process.
Another inspiring video!!! Thank you!
Lovely beatmaking videos! Keep going!

The art of chopping 👌🏽
damn that was dope !
Hey what is the tuner you are using to correct the pitch ? Thx you great vids
Dope stuff Bro. Serato and Maschine look like a dope combo. I use Serato in Reason it's dope too! Keep it up. Looking forward to the new videos :D
Great video again.

Do you ever bounce your Maschine tracks into another DAW? If so, how does it work with Serato? ✌️
Question... I really like how maschine chops samples it so simple...whats the different with serato sample?

Hey man, nice beat... do you record your scratching samples directly into Maschine as well?
Dope 👍🏾🎧
Thanks man!
I love Serato! It's just taking me some time to figure out how to lay melodies / basslines onto my samples. Anybody have any tips?
A bit of theory. Read up on the Circle of Fifths and apply /visualize on keys. Once you have that understanding it all comes together....
Nice beat. An opinion, talking video would be a great addition. You could talk about the latests music production news, where you see the industry going, successes and failures, maybe even feature some tracks from your viewers.
What is that piano sample? Great video!
sample is called Midnight kopia i cant find the artist though
For the next series we need you to teach how to dance to these beats
like the idea plus if you went live streaming that would be good also to get an answer on the spot. anyway luv the vids they help alot.
Hi, does the drag and drop feature still work with serato when recorded into the maschine daw? can you drag the serato parts directly into logic or FL....
It would be cool to have some beat making streams.
Dope break man. How well does the 'sync' tab by the bpm work? Does it lock the pitch??
Please show the routing from serato in maschine!
Routing? Serato Sample is just added as an AU or VST instrument in Maschine. There's really no other routing going on.
Educate us! I want to know more about your scratch technique and how you mix your cuts.
is it still worth getting Serato as native instruments have updated machines sampling capability
Will it work in Cubase 10?
Does it let you keep slicing on all keys? 88? Or only 16 like a set of pads? Thanks
Does anyone know how to set up the drum pads for the Machine Micro Mk3 in Serato sample ? I only have 1 pad activated in which only plays the beginning of the song please help
can u explain how to make different patterns from one sample in one scene? not clear for me
Still worth it for maschine users??
Nothing can compete with Recycle 2.1 and 2.2 for chopping samples
