I found Malcom online recently I have fallen in love with The kimberley .Hopefully this cruise is still going strong would love to bring my whole family. rest in peace Malcom
The boat True North shown here entered service in 1999 and this documentary was made in the same year. The documentary put the Kimberley on the map for the first time for many Australians. This boat is still in service in 2023. Another True North boat launched in 2004 and and I cruised the Kimberley on this boat in 2022. Trip of a lifetime. The original True North boat is now known as the True North 2 and still cruises the Kimberley and other parts of Australia.
This episode is like... on a 1990s American sitcom, one character spins off into a new show, where all of a sudden he's interacting with a new cast of characters and he's got a new job running a hotel
Young scouts from Broome in the early nineties walked out on some Sunday mornings to Cable Beach to help Malcolm count the crocodiles and alligators, I even helped him remove a nasty wooden splinter from his hand. First Aid
Anyone know the piano song that kicks in at 1:05? It’s in a lot of his videos and it’s one of those songs that just gives me the feels every time I hear it. Almost makes me cry. Haha sorry I just love it and want to find the original.
Those paintings are obviously Europeans, the smoking pipe is obvious. The big hat and the pipe, it's based off the captain and likely not the general seaman. The Aboriginals had pretty good eyesight to notice all those details from that distance however. Early Dutch it probably was.
@@jamesogden178 dude I have to say your shit talking style is amazing, I'm working my way through all of Malcolm's videos and first thing I do is go through the comments to see if you've added your hilarity and you did not disappoint that transexual comment cracked me up so hard I hope you keep it up, so what's your inspiration as far as clowning on Malcolm?
She actually has a genuine personality, she just shows her emotions on her sleeve, as Shane pointed out, this isn't uncommon to find folk like this in Australia, especially in towns and such, meaning the real areas of Australia. However, you likely won't come across many like her if you just stay in Sydney, there you will just come across a bunch of Chinese looking people and a bunch of white Australians who also are as quiet and reserved of their personality as those Chinese looking people. Essentially in the city it doesn't appear that many people flex their personality, but instead most people fit into a template of how they are meant to behave and act, which is to draw as little attention to yourself and to be just another brick in the wall. Therefore you won't find the Australian culture or Australian characters in the city generally. It would appear that people in the city are nearly the same all over the world, and that you only find the actual cultural traits of a nation's people by going outside of the cities.
I Remember Hearing About The American Woman Taken By A Saltwater Crocodile On The Prince Regent River In The Kimberley Some Years Ago! I Think After The Attack A Lot Of Crocodiles Were Systematically Shot!😒👩🐊🏞️🔫🇦🇺
I wish Malcolm Douglas was my grandpa. He had to have lived one of the greatest lives ever. RIP!
