Well said. Back then every object was meaningful. Now everything is the product of greed, deception, advertisement, bs politics, bs self interest from the parasites siphoning the wealth of productive people, lying highly manipulative medias in a monopoly network, reverse accusation, imposed silence on important topics (denouncing them). The whole thing is a pile of rubbish that should sublimate into flames.
Great to hear about your feelings on travel and all that you do to get us some entertainment and education but also the enthusiasm you give us in between our trips. We understand about exhaustion. You guys are legends and as the previous people said it wouldn’t kill us to miss out on an episode if it means you get a rest so next time you get a spot you love take a rest . Well done done you funny people 😅

I was most disappointed because I thought the moggy laying on his desk as Malcolm read from the book on Australian Mammals was a stuffed trophy of one of the most destructive of introduced species! And then the bugger rolled over!
totally agree with the attenborough remark mate! though, ive watched most of his vids on youtube because i used to watch them as a little fella. love malcom. but ive never clicked the like button. and never will. its not something i am impulsed to do when i enjoy a video. i dont feel the need to justify to everyone that i liked it. especially because liking something is just that. its the amount of views that tell a story if statistics is what floats ya boat.

I assisted landing the drum of fuel on the island that Dave D mentioned but we never saw, was disappointed, hoped to see how it fared behind the sandhill til Malcolm picked it up. Hell of a job rolling a full 200L drum uphill in loose sand.
In general i've noticed Malcolm is very compassionate for animals. You'll notice it even when he reluctantly eats games with the aborigenes, and convinced them more than once to release small cute critters.
I've noticed a lot of people posting in the comments of these Malcolm Douglas videos are basically illiterate, writing the worst sort of gibberish and im not sure why that is.
That's a good comment reflecting on the materialism and superficiality of this age. Most people don't know the humanity and value in these videos and those who watch them end up being people with little education.
I dont really know what you wanna tell us. Sponsors are nothing special. But i think there are easier ways to get rich. He was no guy who would be happy in a big comfy mension i would guess. He spend so much time under harsh conditions.
I absolutely love this series, so unpretentious in this day and age of rubbish.

Watched this as a kid, back then! The greatest for me on earth - still today. Thanks for conserving this on youtube!
Malcolm Aussie legend!! Finds a book with a description but no photo to match? Outraged! We must man an expedition to correct this at once!
Just started watching this episode. How cool is it, he sees no one has ever filmed this Wallaby so he goes I'll fix that. Legend.
These are choice movies....I love going back in time on these journeys...good stuff ..
Such great work.

Thank you for this wonderful video.
Love it. He reads a document.. analyses it. Noting decrepencies. Missing info. As long as it's "up North ", he commits, and is off. A modern Explorer

Amazing footage , can't believe Malcs vids have so few likes. Aussie version of David Attenborough .

That saw fish is insane. Wow
For the first 2 minutes, I thought the cat was dead.
It is, its been 33years
Just sleeping, fren.
The paintings of foreigners describe Dutchmen. You can tell by the hats and traditional footwear (clogs).
Malcolm flipped us off right at the end.

He didn't show the cave paintings.

Yes that's insane, the amount of heat generated by these 900 liters. At least he tried with a sail boat before.
I thought the cat was death at the start n he was going to use it as an example as it didn't move let alone twitch even it's ears eh haha
Cats were one of malcoms favourite Bush tuckers.. he's even cook them on his bbq at his home in broome
@@jamesogden178well cats are a pest in Australia.
What's the deal with the jumper at the start 😂
No plastic wow
Thought that cat was dead at the start
At 38:34 in the video screw that manta ray!!! Should have ate it !!
Comments will be turned off soon
You probably should put up a warning about the Indigenous remains shown in the film
I'm glad they didn't slaughter the turtle
