Cobia is one of my favorite fish to grill, that was a real beauty he caught right off the bat in this video. Malcolm sure did have some incredible adventures, I love these videos
Still up there with one of our top aussie adventurers 😊❤ hope we can make some cool videos but until then just shorts. But when we travel great barrier reef omg we will be thinking of Malcolm 💯🇦🇺🥰🥰
Portuguese priests would bless sailors before a voyage saying, *the Good Lord blessed you to be born in Portugal, but gave you the whole world in which to live and die.* Mr Douglas certainly epitomizes that sentiment.
Just a thought on the Gouldian Finches. Commentary says they`re endangered. In 2018/9 I lived in the forest area town of Belgrave, Victoria. Had hundreds of these visit my deck area daily along with the Australian King Parakeet. Perhaps their status has improved?
It just dawn on me there probably isn’t much scenery that isn’t repetitive so what else to film but catching fish - in any case i really enjoy watching this - i just discovered it not too long ago. :-)
Sadly, even if she was born the year this was filmed, she’d be 20+ now and possibly the oldest dog alive. Cattle dogs like her live from 8-12 years. Maybe a touch more. Sad to report, RIP Bundi. Ever the Good Girl.
Whales aren't sharks, sharks aren't whales, but they're considered a fish species. So they were thinking scientifically when stating it's the world's biggest fish, which is correct. Many marine biologist dislike the name "whale shark", as it confuses many laypeople. Some also believe sharks shouldn't be considered fish. It's a gentle filter feeding giant and likely confused early whalers which is also likely where the whale shark name originated. Hope that helps
Well sanity did not prevail and the forces of wealth production forced their way and we now have a disgusting resort at Ningaloo. Only time will tell if the reef will survive.
Can't help but wonder who and for how many $$$ was the resort approved... Does Western Australia have an ICAC to keep the political creatures and bureaucratic Mafia on the straight and narrow ?...
Went On A Tour Of Ningaloo Reef In 2003 On A Glass Bottomed Boat From Exmouth Viewed The Magnificent Coral Reef Can Highly Recommend It! Some Land Developer Wanted To Build A Resort At Ningaloo But The Western Australian Government Disallowed It Thank Goodness!🤠🛥🌊🌅🐚🐟🐠🦈🐙🐬🐊🇦🇺
We had two TV stations in the town outside Cairns, up there in North Queensland, where I spent the early years of life . I grew to look forward to Malcolm's shows, being one of the only enjoyable after school/evening programs for a kid in the 80s ; apart from "Monkey" and "DR Who" of course! I can't help but to be very curious, what species is the school of black fish @ 21:46 into this episode . Has anybody out there got any ideas what they are please?
I loved watching his episodes; they taught me a lot about Australia. He was natural and straightforward. Rest in peace.
Nothing beats this lifestyle, this is what paradise looks like to me

A piece of hardwood through its leg like that, you would have to think it was speared by someone.
He died a straight up guy..
Killed by a vehicle door. It was open and the vehicle rolled, pinning him against a tree.

"Whale sharks, the largest fish in the ocean". What were they thinking when they came up with that name.

Boondi had such a good life. Probably the best thing to be reincarnated as would be a dog with an awesome owner.
First time I ever saw a mantaray was in a murky lagoon, I thought it was an alien spaceship and my dog swam after it.

Hi beautiful film Q how theTroupy pull the boat?
