Brings back memories. The Vessel is a flashback to Malcolm Douglas at his finest. Montgomery reef was one of his most incredible finds.ever been to Biggie Island..thankyou GUYS.M.D I'm certain would be proud.except he just chucked a 44 gallon drum of fuel down back and went direct. ❤❤❤
@@coffeybreak I feel your admiration for him mate. I was a young kiwi boy on a harsh foreign land and Malcolm Douglas proved to me in 5 minutes flat beside its original people the land was absolutely bountiful beyond belief. I learned to love respect and hand it on as it should be.pristine and magic. Remember his tracker mate Jommery and he went deep bush looking for his carved tribal totems before Jommery passed. The rock art? The hunting the laughs and mutual love and respect. . We were lucky boys to have a man of his stature telling it how it is..Go fourth Douglas Jedi. He would be stoked to see young men and women like you teaching others about a landscape and flora and Fauna of the very highest order Brother.as is your obvious love for this land. I bet your old man is pretty chuffed to have raised a Douglas Jedi and a pretty bloody good bloke to..love and respect from Fremantle Western Australia.I won't miss a minute. Cheers. J. P
Just wanted to say thank you for making these videos. Old age and poor health have left me to be an observer these days. I can live vicariously through your content and not feel at all cheated if you know what I mean.
That’s goals right there, loving it. Keeping it real, no w4nky BS, makes it feel like something anyone could do in their tinnie, but probably never will 🙂
@coffeybreak All good mate im no better.. just happen to have caught both in the same area here in north qld last year. Sick fish anyway and good size too mate
New subscriber. Came across you guys thru strick and fran. Love your videos, Australia seems so beautiful! I would love to see it one day but the place ride from the states is super intimidating!! How do you sit on a plane that long lol I'd be having massive anxiety!!!
Unreal! Stick and Fran gave me some tips for this trip the legends! Looks like you’re in a bit of a pickle if you don’t like flying! Maybe a few wines before the fight? Haha
Faaarkkk wed love to have ya down in kiwiland bro 0 crocs and snakes every waterway is a dream, we can jump in any water in our country mind the eels of course😂 bit of surf for ya aswell lots of seafood, channels pumping brah🤙#scottysgonewalkabout #Thebeardedbushman #oldmatemattsy #beaumiles #bushmechanics #tarradarrboys
Looks like a great trip, I hope you had approval by the indigenous groups to go onto the islands.. most of the artwork is located in sacred sites and shouldnt be recorded. Please check with the traditional owners before going to their country next time
Not really. If you’re going to convert metric to gallons you need to convert the dollar too. It’s closer to US$10 to the gallon. Still a lot but take into account they have to drive 1000 miles to get the fuel there from the closest city with a port. It is what it is.
