A mother's and a father's love are different yet hold the same gravitas and impact on the child's life They are different but are both just as important as the other I wish people would understand that. I have only felt real love from my father my mother's love was more of a love for her own benefit. Yet even I know that both are equally strong and equally important.
@@hermausmora9687 I can personally agree my dad wasn't ever there, I met him at 22 years old and only had abusive step dads throughout my life. What every man wants to hear from their father. "I'm proud of you." Doesn't matter the relationship, the character, the achievements, and accolades a man will accomplish. Hearing those 4 words tops it all.
From my own experiences of hearing that, it does something in your soul, it gives you more confidence and definitely builds more of a bond, even when it’s hard to show love to one another
He had to ask Bjorn for ships because by them his son was running everything. When he came back and was challenging his sons he kept quiet at the end when he saw Bjorn. It meant so much he only ever felt that love when he was a child then when he returned he kept making foolish choices as young men do but several years later bjorn reached his potential
I love how devoid of EGO Ragnar is. He doesn't mind becoming less famous and admired than his son. He doesn't mind going through humiliation and torture. His goals consume him entirely. And that is admirable.
This was the last time Bjorn would ever see his dad and i think deep down Bjorn kind of knew too that's why he gasped and also because he didn't expect Ragnar to say that, what an amazing and heartbreaking scene at the same time 😢
