While i was happy to see him alive and well, i was also somewhat disheartened to realize this was likely the last time we would see of him and everyone else to that matter. But it was a good ending to the series. He did not cease to exist alone, he went with Ubbe and the rest of the crew.

Those gates could mean anything really as its not just Valhalla has a gate to enter. the other three religions he knew about all have gates as well. The best ending to one of the best shows I’ve ever seen, I’ve seen so many shows throw it all away at the end but not Vikings . this perfect ending made it all worth watching its amazing how much respect they all had for Ragnar and his dream even so long after major respect for uploading this 🙏🏻🤝

Loved this ending. Two of the most wholesome characters having a peaceful chat on a beach in the new world then fading out after all the bloody wars and toil.
Floki is like a whole new breed, Loving Ragnar no matter what more than he loves himself. He’s like the ultimate surpassed level of a best friend no dog could ever come close to Loki’s love towards Ragnar and everyone that has had a truly best friend on a dog would understand what I meant completely out of awe. The second best Character on this series on my opinion 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Floki is such an iconic character. You take him as a fool at first and than you can see how human he truly is, through his lost of his best friend, his lover and all his friend. I really love him in Vikings despite the fact that at first I hated him 😂😂🫠. He’s such a loyal friend to Ragnar till the end of times.
