Florida Bass Fishing Raw And Uncut! Big Bass On Swim Jigs And Chatterbaits!

  • Come along for a day on one of Florida's best lakes! We're going to build patterns and catch some BIG bass along the way! If you want to see what its like to really figure out a new body of water, this is for you. The fish are coming out of a cold snap and transitioning into the shallows. We're using a fluke, swim jig, and chatterbait to target them as they make the move.
This style of video gives a complete view of what its really like to get out on the water and dial in the fish. Often times you see the highlights but don't see the struggles. From the break offs to the hand-lines and boat flips, its all here! If you enjoy this style of video leave a comment and let us know. Today was a blast! There was a period of struggle in the middle but we were able to combine two patterns into a very successful afternoon on the water.
While we're in a completely new part of the country, the fishing itself is very similar to what we've experienced many other places. The bass are transitioning into the shallows to feed and spawn. Florida is well into Spring but most of the country is still weeks, and even months behind. If you want to replicate some of these patterns, we've included links to all the equipment Matt was using in the description below. All of the links go directly to Tackle Warehouse where you can see detailed photos and descriptions of each item. We've included relevant colors, as well as the rods and reels he was using to throw the baits.

Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

Right. I truly admire people who get to do what they love to do for a living. (Atleast I think he does it for a living) but even if he doesn't. I would LOVE to have a big RUclips channel where I just fish all day and teach or talk about what I'm doing. That would be sick.. I love these guys. I wish I could fish with them.. and a few other fishing youtubers.

That’s my favorite lake… Headwaters! The Jackhammer is definitely the right lure on the open flats 👍👊

This is the way I like to see fishing done.. Raw and uncut. When it’s edited makes me feel like you guys never have a problem catching fish. Keep up the good work.

I absolutely love your guys videos. I just started Bass Fishing last year and I have learned a hell of a lot just from watching your videos. I really enjoy how you explain your techniques, the baits, and the gear that you use. I may not be able to afford high end equipment but I can apply that information to what I can afford. Keep up the great work. I would definitely love to see more videos of you guys in Wisconsin sometime. It was awesome to see a video of you guys in Sturgeon Bay. Thank you so much.
I also forgot to add that since I’ve been watching the videos my tackle volume has increased significantly. My wife was not happy! But I don’t care!

I use an aftermarket door - off Amazon - that has a hole for the charging port and power my GoPro Max off a battery pack or the house battery. 1 TB card and I record 12 hrs without having to change a single battery…and in the rain. I just make sure the charging cable has a drip loop and I’ve never had a problem.
    Keep up the great work!!

Love the raw and uncut videos. I am able to study your retrieve and how you work each lure. I am able to pick up little things that you guys do that will help me tweak my presentation. 👍
