I've been really enjoying it, a mini campaign style game that can generally be completed in 3 hours or less. It is a little on the complicated side with the asymmetric gearlocs but feels rewarding finding the synergies.
Great video! Once again, this channel easily influences me on getting more games lol.

Once a year is a hard limit! It's almost a tradition at this point that the first New Year video is a Nic how to play.
Too Many Bones has always intrigued me, but the price point has kept us from jumping in on this one.
The price is definitely an issue but for what you get can be some what justified. If you are interested in Too many bones but what a cheaper entry there is always Too Many bones Undertow. Same game mechanics but comes with only 2 Gearlocs instead of 4 and different encounter (story) cards.

@@inspired2game I recently finally bit the bullet and got TMB and i can say that you get your moneys worth in this game. It is probably some of the highest quality overall components i have ever gotten in a game (and I own some expensive games). but they didn;t skimp on anything in the box. Stitched edge neoprene printed playmats, plastic cards and reference sheets, extremely high quality printed dice (and a lot of them!) and the chips are also super nice quality. Once i had the gmae in my hands i understood the cost and would not hesitate to buy any expansion as i get into the game.
Grab a copy of Undertow as said above and give it a go!
@@i_am_muggin Thanks! We’ll definitely keep that in mind! We certainly have a number of expensive games too - it just becomes a matter of being selective as there’s only so many we need. 😆
