    I'm watching you play after reading the rules, playing the play along, and stumbling with a few things. So I think a full watch will help. Thanks!

    Always fun to listen to a too many bones playthrough. It's one of those games that i find very intersting lokking others play. Around the one hour mark, you had 3 loot card in the inventory, but i pretty shure the buckler takes 3 spaces and you could not have 3 times at that time.

    You have to remember your loot. And you have to take the 20 PT baddie off the board immediately. Especially if they have recover. Also Remeber you backup plan. Extra point of dmg each round is great.

    Fyi they sell a variety of those snap dice trays on Amazon. They're the hard sided ones. They have octogon, square and rectangle ones. Also small and large ones.

    I watch your game plays and have learned along from them so thank you for this!! I could be wrong but around a hour in you did a lock pick on trove loot that seemed invalid due to over filling boomers loot slots.
    Or does the trove loot only count once its unlocked?

    Rob.. I think you should have been able to use the berries out of battle. if it look at the scenario card, the icon was a peaceful encounter. So that's technically out of battle.

    in regards to the berries incident... I feel like you should be able to use them because the berries specifically say in battle for 3 OR out of battle for 5. This case would be out of battle. Unless the berries specifically say during the recovery phase?

    Hi Rob. Thanks for all of the TMB play throughs. Very helpful. Can you clarify something for me? At 1:51:15 on your turn you move 6 spaces, spending 6 Dex, but don’t you only have 5 available since you have one Def die in one of your active slots. I believe you have a similar situation on your next move. I’m getting this from page 11 of the rulebook. It says that defense dice in the Active slots reduce the number you can roll. Maybe I’m missing something and I hope you can help. Thanks and I’m looking forward to more of your play throughs.

      The Def die that is in my active slot does not use up a Dex it only reduces the amount of Def die I have available. So in this case I have 3 Def stat with 1 Def in my active so if I were to roll Def die I can only roll 2. Hope that helps!

    Wasn’t the Golden Golem able to move diagonally? You only moved it orthogonally though

    50:35 the golem has diagonale movement so he would have gone adjacent to you

    It's a pitty that you didn't make it to Gendriks. I would have appreciated it, if you had done the bossfight anyways, just for the sake of the video ("The adventure failed, but let's see how this would have played out!").
    Though I guess that Gendriks would probably have slaughtered Boomer solo. Even when Lucky and Gendriks Limit doesn't trigger, Boomer can only do him 1 damage per round on her turn and 1-3 more over the whole fight with napalm (which you didn't take). So it's a prolonged fight, he does some damage and Boomer has no healing on her own and only medium defence. Some Berries would likely not be enough to keep her alive for 6+ rounds.

    Not sure about your baddie movement? It doesn't really say they move as efficiently as possible, but the way you move the orc on the first battle feels like cheating to me since if you moved it down and left on the first turn, you wouldn't have been able to get away from him. Moving straight lines gave you multiple turns of running away from him pretty easily. Again, not sure if it's "wrong", but I've always moved them as efficiently as possible?

      As long as you move as many positions closer as possible, it's ok. You don't have to take into account future baddie movement. So you can take advantage of that

      @@derdopey yeah, it feels to me as if the intent is that cleverly exploiting the baddie movement rules should be part of the combat strategy. The game isn't really set up for combat encounters to always be fairly balanced.

    A series of terrible decisions! You usually play great but in this game, you were a disaster! I know you play for fun and to teach the viewers how to play but I do play to win and this playthrough drove me mad😂

    Pretty sure you scout a 20 pt baddie when you roll a 6...?

    • @FinnCanDo85
      @FinnCanDo85 5 лет назад +10

      I believe the rule is "Up to a 20pt baddie"

    • @DwarfyDoodad
      @DwarfyDoodad 3 года назад

      It's "Up to" You can go lower. And early in the game there is no reason to scout a 20 point baddie as opposed to one you will face.
