Ken Adams dropping the F bomb, that was great!

Happy 82nd birthday , hope you have many more, thanks for the memories Sean Connery.
Sean connery is James bond! With his Good Looks and a real gentleman :D
Sean connery was and will always be the greatest but damn i loved goldeneye. Fantastic movie, best theme song by tina turner and Brosnan made a great james bond!
50 years of Bond. The first and the last are THE BEST. Sean Connery and Daniel Craig represent what entertainment at the movies really mean. And what James Bond truly is. Kudos to all the supporting people and especially Producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael J. Wilson who went back to the source. And, obviously, they were right. Daniel Craig IS Bond. One hell of a great actor.
*The one and only best bond is Sean Connery, no one can replace him*
Oddly enough, five people did.
I love how Sean likes Daniel's approach to Bond.
Casino Royale is the best Bond film in almost 30 years. I LOVE that movie.
Casino Royale Is Daniel Craig Best James Bond Film,
sam menzies as already written the film for the next bond and i agree be brill if sean connery had a cameo roll
It'd be awesome if Connery came out of retirement to play the villain in one of Craig's Bond films.
That fight with Grant never gets old
FACKHHHHHHH the empaiiireeee.
Love his voice!
Pierce is still my fav!
Love Sean Connery! Only Bond for me!
i like all the bonds but mine was brosnan because it was my era, and goldeneye was my favourite but i think its good everyone has their own favs and picking order
love the beggining
" The Escchensche for me " - Sean Connery ;)
Cool, interviews with the oldest Bond and the newest Bond.
sean connery.. .... my idol.
Wow, my hero is old. Sean sounds very old. But still badass.
Now that's what I call arts!!
Daniel Craig remined me of the bad guy James Bond fought in From Russia With Love the clip you see in this video lol.
SecretYoungLink007 Robert Shaw as Red Grant.
For those who are wondering.... the song at 5:04 is Leftfield's Space March. It's a remix of John Barry's Space March.
Hahaha, that was so unexpected with Adams!
"They took off their 'handcuffs' and said: FUCK!"
He says it so abruptly, too. I smiled.
Can't wait to see it!
I've just seen No Time To die in 2021...
Connery has now passed away but Craig looks so young at the time of QofS. Times have changed.
I think Craig is one of those actors that wears years on his face very well. In fact he looks better in NTTD than he ever has imo.
Ken Adam swearing like that made me LOL
Brilliant Documentary Show! :)
the 4 dislikes are from SPECTRE
Terrance Young was the main reason for the success of the Bond movie's. Ken Adam's sets made the movie's BUT Sean Connery was the cherry on the cake. Great South Bank special have you got it all ?
Sean connery the best bond ever no one will ever come close then its roger moore
7:04. best part
Sean Connery was, is, and forever will be the BEST James Bond. Although, Daniel Craig is probably turning into my # 2 favorite Bond.
Sean Connery and daniel craig❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Dude!!!!!! That would be SUPERB!!!!
Sean Connery and daniel craig❤❤❤❤
CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF BOND (1962-2012).
Thought I'd get this in a bit early... :^)
your right men!u got it!
Thanks
Rest in peace Judy Dench.
Sean Connery Is The Real James Bond,
I think he should do a cameo be one of the older agents teaching james bound
Thumbs up #34, Brady. There have been some absolutely incredible fistfights throughout the Bond series. The one in From Russia with the late, great Robert Shaw, The fight with Oddjob near the end of the movie Goldfinger, at least one in each of the Daniel Craig movies, a few with Pierce and especially Timothy Dalton, even Roger a few times, and even George Lazenby had one of the best ones in the hotel right after the opening scene.
my bond is roger moore its my era and he was the best i still like all the other bonds aswell and id love to see christian bale in a bond role he would look good .
it would be a lot sicker is connery would be the main villain in one of craig's bond films
In 1963, James Bond, then played by Sean Connery was introduced to his silver Aston Martin DB5 in the 1964 film Goldfinger
Bond will return!
Chirping the other commenters and also thanking you for the upload.
Sean Connery was physical, tough, but not cold and cruel. The role was played more like a detective movie and you saw the plot unfold as story line: it wasn't trying to imitate the Bourne Identity. Craig is simply too cold for this role. He plays him like a government asassin than a sophisticated intelligence agent. He is more of an assassin that is losing his humanity in being a spy. There is no warmth or charm to him
My thoughts exactly. Well said 👌
They have his Initials too - James Bond, Jason Bourne, Jack Bauer, JB. lol
I always liked to think that Judi Dench's M was the original Moneypenny and that's why she was so tough on the modern Bonds. She wanted them to be as good as the man she loved.
Shoelpkof Not a bad thought.
I Hate Th New M Bring Back Judi As M,
Aye Absolutely,
phwoarr craig adjusting his cufflink at 03:31
Fuck! The Empire doesn't exist any longer now we take over! Great words...
Skip to the parts with Connery:
2:41
7:10
3:56 i love how they still embraced chesthair back then, ftw for chest hair!
whats the track played at 3:50ish
Here's an interesting bit of trivia; adjusted for inflation, Thunderball remains the most successful Bond film at the box office. In today's currency, it grossed $877 million which is more than most films that have come out since. And what makes that fact incredible is that it was the only Bond film that was originally written for the cinema but was initially rejected by all the major studios. Ian Fleming wrote a book based on the film later on. He and Kevin McClory co-wrote the script in the late 50s before the Bond film franchise had begun. When it was finally made into a film almost 10 years later, it was a major box office success. It was also the film that introduced SPECTRE and Blofeld but when these innovations were used in Dr No - even though they were not mentioned in the eponymous book - it was then that McClory sued Fleming which resulted in Never Say Never Again being filmed in 1983.
Now Skyfall has beaten Thunderball by making over $1 Billion at the Box Office, making it the most successful Bond film to date.
00TOYZ Nothing lasts forever. Thunderball had a good run, especially for a film that no one wanted originally.
+00TOYZ No, Skyfall was in 2012 currency, if thunder ball was inflated today it would have wiped the floor with Thunderball
***** I don't disagree with you. But the point I was trying to make is that before EON made Thunderball, no studio showed any interest in it but when it was finally made, it became a huge success - and even spawned a remake. It's a classic case of not knowing a good thing when you see one.
He was supposed to have one in Skyfall, but it got cut from the script. He was going to be a dealer at a table Bond set down at.To play a card game.
What is that song at 05:08 ?
"....and said FACK..the empire, it doesn't exist anymore" LOLOLOL unexpected 0:56
who is your Favorite James bond charter? my is roger Moore and Daniel Craig
mine is roger moore and sean connery
bond hero
what film is the one with connery wer the villian lives in a volcano that opens up?
You Only Live Twice,
It looks like a windsor Knot , which is How I tie my tie ,Bonded of course!!
LORD Bragg didn't interview sir Roger Moore on the South bank show
@ 5:50 "FUCK the Empire!" lol
Sean Connery was sophisticated but not sophomoric in some ways like Roger Moore. Although Roger Moore made the role based on gadgets and quick quips, the edginess and aggressiveness was brought back by Timothy Dalton, that in fact, was more similar to Sean's interpretation of the Fleming character. He was edgy and complex and human, not a superman. Pierce Brosnan is closer to Roger Moore's portrayal: the gentleman spy. Daniel Craig is a poor choice. Not edgy and serious, just a thug and too cold
alexnds1 I thought when I saw Daniel Craig, where have I seen him before? Oh, he's just trying to be Timothy Dalton. No thanks. I'll take Daylights and License over Craig. License to Kill is the last great 007 film.
alexnds1 EXACTLY! You are so correct! Sean Connery has ALWAYS been my favorite J.B. Saw him at the theatres when his first movie came out back in early 60's. Timothy Dalton is my next choice....and you can get rid of the other three!
@TowhidChoudhury I hope that #23 will make more sense than Quantum Of Solace did, though. I was lost watching that as much as Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough. C.R. was done well. My fave Bonds are Sean Connery and Roger Moore.
Wouldn't it be sick if Connery would do a cameo in one of Craig's bond films.
I fucking cant wait for Spectre... god, Daniel is the besssst
They never found Andrew Bond's (James Bond's dad) body, so...
For those who were fortunate enough to see SKYFALL, imagine the part played by Albert Finney (A great actor also) with Sean Connery... It would have been a coup-de-génie. For a moment, just before you see that it's Finney, I thought IT WAS Sean. Daniel Craig & Sean Connery - Why didn't they think of that? Or maybe they did and it was not possible. Let's keep hoping. As Wajeh Oda says in echo to the famous quote: Bond will return!
HA! "Fuck the Empire!" I like his style.
Am I the only one that wanted to click on the exit sign in the beginning?
@tcvicesquad I don't believe it was his choice to replace it
05:32
A cigar and two Oscars. Okay Ken Adams, we get it, you fucking won the game.
That is an excellent idea.Even though finney did a good
job,Well the reason why even if they wanted connery it
would'nt happen.Connery does'nt want anything to do with
the bond serious anymore.Even if its small.
originally the producers was going to get Connery to come out of retirement to play that old man that was living in the Skyfall ranch near the end, but the director thought that would be distracting and scrapped that idea
Glad it didn’t happen. Would’ve made the code name theory guys happy and it didn’t need to happen. But I’ll admit it would’ve been badass to hear Connery say “welcome to Scotland.”
I don't like the lyrics for the 'I wish I was James Bond'
Soo.. where is the rest of it then ? It just ends abruptly midshow when it's getting interesting, with obvious time to go, lol... Thx anyway ;P
Connery was the best old school Bond but for the later Bonds my favorite is definitely Pierce Brosnan.
Those are exactly my thoughts.
Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery will always be my two favorites.
They were the whole package: sexy, charming, sophisticated, funny and threatening when it was needed.
Just one question how would you separate old school to modern school James Bond
Personally
old school would be : Sean Connery, George Lazenby and Roger Moore
Modern school : Timothy Dalton Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig
2 Great Actors Who Played 007 James Bond Sean Connery, And Pierce Brosnan,
I think Pierce was caught between playing Bond like Connery and Moore, it they had made the part similar to Craig’s he would of done a much better job in the franchise. I put it down to poor script. But saying that, perhaps we weren’t ready for it yet. I’m looking forward to seeing what they will do with the next Bond, would love to see Cillian Murphy play the part with Christopher Nolan at the helm.
I don't think Bond would have taken off if it wasn't for KEN ADAMS stunning Contribution He was the most outrageously Risky mind in the entire Collective. The arrogance of his youth pushed James Bond into it's own new territory & hasn't been beaten yet. And it Never Will. He made everything look 100 Times Bigger, Grander, Sexier, more suave & Sophisticated, Iconic, Stylistic & did it all without this overused word now; “EPIC”.
that seemingly posh, respectable english man with a cigar comes out with "and they say... FUCK the empire" haha, legend
lololololHAHA!It means bad ass!
Sean Connery did an interview for Bond? And wasn't pissed off? There's a shocker...
south BANK ?! oh fucks sake I thought these Trey Parker and Matt Stone were cooking up a special bond themed episode
Craig does fine as Bond, as well as anyone could with the bar set so high by Connery. I was fortunate as a child to see some of Goldfinger being filmed. To me, that is the highwater mark to reach for. In any case, I do hope that one day someone will let the real Bond out of the PC cage he has been put in.
Um what do you mean?
I did not know that Barbara Broccoli is more yummy than strawberry dipped with the most expensive Chocolate. I just had to say that. Sean Connery made it possible for Bond to continue until this minute. He is the only Bond.
100 mega ton lol!
@valdie91285
Ken Adam's a wildman.
"........no....I was just looking"
Sean Connery sounds like bane
Sean was THE BOND...and Now CRAIG is sure to win that mantel since he looks more cruel, killing and dare devil as THE BOND. Indeed great. In between...I won't say anything.
@tcvicesquad dont you think in the diamonds are forever fight in the lift, bond looks fucking fierce in that fight? lool
Apparently they were going to ask connery to become the gamekeeper in skyfall, but the writers felt it would be too gimicky and would take away from the atmosphere. Would defs be keen for it though!
Too gimmicky for a Bond film is really saying something! I'm still waiting for Dalton or Brosnan or even Connery to show up as the main villain. Before he died even Roger Moore was saying it would be cool to have all the bond's back in a single movie. He said he'd need a lot of stunt doubles, but sadly didn't live long after the comment. WOuld be cool though.
