    Another gem of a video. I've read Overcoming Poor Posture a few years ago and can't recommend it enough. Full of great info and exercises. Side note, Steven Low's Overcoming Gravity is also a must-have for someone interested in gymnastic training for mere mortals.

      Thanks! Steve is super-knowledgable, and we recommend OG almost every day. When he asked Jarlo to write the book with him, we knew it was gonna turn out great :)

    Thanks for that nice video 👍.
    I also like active and passive hanging. That feels quite comfortable too 😅.

    Also, I feel a collision of my shoulder blades in the chair stretch. Does that mean there's no point in stretching it for me? Or should I try to protract the shoulder blades perhaps?

      Yes, that could help. As well, pulling yourself forward just slightly can also change the dynamic of the stretch bringing the focus to the chest and shoulders.

    1:10 most replayed, calling it.
    Also, my armpits/shoulders hurt in a very vague way when I crawl my hands up the wall... I think one of the muscles in the armpits is super tight. Never really figured out how to stretch it. Brr.

    What if you can not get on your knees because of knee surgery and the other one needs surgery

    • @gmbfit
      @gmbfit  2 года назад +2

      Then you need to find ways to do some of them standing, and you should also be working to rehab your knee.
