Lovely the yellow Ford Escort followed by the Renault Twingo - these Twingos have a big fanbase that I didn't expect (and it are guys not girls although I was always thinking it's a girls car, hehe). But the Audi 100 C2 Avant is really a rare survivor. These Avants have been always rare but still seeing one is really exciting. The Fiat Punto is also a very reliable and solid Fiat - my parents also did have one for many many years and they regret to have sold it to a modern crap. In 13 years they never had any issues with it. And I must say my parents weren't doing the yearly maintainance for it. So a pure miracle that in 13 years only worn brakes were the only problems they had. Something you really don't expect on a FIAT.
I can't remember to have seen an Astra Van over here. Opel Combo (the Corsa with the van box) was morelikely sold here.
The Talbot Matra Murena is really amazing. Also loving the colour. Oh and thanks for the shoutout on the Citroen CX Break.
Loving the old white Volvo estate. The windows are so long - I know some people here fooled owners to own a hearse, haha.
I also can't remember when I've seen the last Renault 9. The Renault Micra was something I was still seeing a couple of years ago but these also have already vanished.
Citroen Visa! So amazing! I've seen a GTi of it in last year - really rare to see a Visa. Actually also an interesting car - still sounds like a 2CV but a much more modern body.
The breadvan Polo at 7:23 is exactly looking what I used to drive from 1995. Same colour. I shared it with my Mum - I paid for it and had to pay for the bills and my Mum mostlikely used it, lol. Not the best memory.
Honda Jazz with that special motorbike, amazing!
LOL the paper bags in the Fiat Multipla, very nice touch haha.
Nissan Pao - amazing!
Daihatsu Applause - I always liked how they were looking. I liked it more than the Charade.
The yellow Alfa really stands out. I also like the Cortinas.
Thanks for the support Sven - yes, there were so many great cars it was hard to know where to look! The Talbot Matra Murena and the white Volvo estate really stood out for me - but everything else was cool too.
The Senator has to be a rare one.
BMW Mini a classic ( a sign of older age) when you remember 23 years passed since released and just seems like yesterday. In context when you consider the 89/90 Polo is only separated by about 2 years. Probably has more to do with so many built and still in production although now put on more weight and bloated looking.
I'm surprised the Montego was on show. What would have been the effect on the signatures if it had been raining?
The V8 ZT looks nice and interesting it doesn't have the v8 badge under the sidelight. There are a lot of anomalies with the V8, no badge , badge with satin finish, badge with chrome finish. I think the straight alloys suit them.
good mix of cars.
Hi Glyn - it's a fair point about the signed Montego - yes that would have been a problem had it rained although it was hot & dry all day so maybe they were counting on the accuracy of the weather forecast!!
