Damn, really like this video and especially the part where you dismiss the self-improvement misconception. Self-improvement is just a term for what influencers are trying to put into your head, they try to make you feel like you have to buy their "self-improvement" program. And at first they will make you feel miserable and vulnerable so then you have a determination to buy it, self-improvement is just business
Thanks bro, I do agree that a lot of self improvement is business because thats what they make it, but I also think that self-improvement is about being present among some other things and thats what I learned from all the books I’ve read so it is information based too.

@@thatsonme1782 its way easier said than done yes i agree, this video does not propose an easy 1 day free mindset that will instantly solve everything quickly, it proposes an effective but long-term mindset that has to be developed with time and patience.

As a person who has been through an indentity crises I can qualifyingly say that these ideologies of not labeling and analysing can remotely or even in great amounts lessen one's overthinking and overwhelmingness of living but it also causes internal conflict, where you no longer know what your values and what kind of person you really are.
Other than that, it makes us rigorously unfiting and incapable of the world we live in. Where if the person himself don't know who he is it makes perfectly easy to force political agendas down to our thoard. The cognitive dissonance inside caves in.
Definitely a good point there, I also think that one can find a sweet spot with both - knowing oneself and values while also not labelling and analysing - this is not an easy task but that’s where the reward is.
