Indeed, these Combat episodes are contagious there are 152 episodes over 5 seasons. I have watched 110 so far (42 left to go). I started at the beginning and went throw them in order one by one. They are for me addictive, I can’t stop watching them. This was a really good show for the ’60, and the film technology they had back then, compare it to some of the “crap” they produce today, just can’t compare.
Good Day Beth!! Yes, I must agree with you, as i am the same way. I have also done it with 'Gunsmoke.' I have seen that series three times from start to finish. Very addictive!! Take care and GOD Bless!! SuperSniperSal
@Legion 57 LOL, so addicting that I can't even count how many times I've watched each episode. Only a few seconds and I knew which show it is. (Guess I need a life, LOL)
I STARTED AT THE BEGINNING ALSO I JUST WISH THAT I HAD THOUGHT OF KEEPING COUNT OF THE WOUNDS OF THE SQUAD INDIVIDUALLY ON PAPER I BET KIRBY WINS IN A LANDSLIDE.

Combat, a staple of my young life in the 60's especially after my Dad had spent three years in the South Pacific against the Japanese; we were quite patriotic in those days.
Sarge tells the guys to get behind the dozier like it was a tank while he hides safety behind the metal shields...typical military .............at 9:51 LOL
My grandpa told me once that when their base came under fire in Nam they did something similar with their bulldozers to drive off the enemy. So even though the setup isn't realistic the use of the dozer as a pseudo tank is.
With the large number of episodes each season, there must of course be some repetition. It is however handled very well by the writers. This is another aspect of a French citizen caught between the warring German and American armies. The plot is totally different and intriguing. Well acted, exciting and innovative. Enjoy!
Maybe in this episode where MacGyver and The A-TEAM got the idea of using all possible things around them to get out when they are trap in a certain dificult situation. Nice try men👍
The size of the hole in the end of the compensator on Saunders' Thompson keeps changing, one minute it is the correct small size and the next time that you see it the hole is about 3/4".
wildcat052655 - Yes, this one is also on my list of 10 least feast favorites. What I meant is that COMBAT is contagious, and got to love Sargent Saunders [Vic Morrow :)] in any episode he is in, he ALWAYS comes through and saves the day.
TNT doesn't blow by itself so unstable dynamite weeping nitroglycerin? Or maybe detonators in the same building? Normal safety practices even in the 40's would have separated the two items.
When I was a little kid years ago, I remember laughing at the absurdity of all this. Those guys obviously weren't "fixing" an engine, nor "brazing" steel plate. They also weren't watching the Germans at they (clearly visible) circled around behind them. A bunch of truly "Sad Sack" soldiers right out of Camp Calamity. Entertaining, but absurd.
Yet another outrageously stupid storyline. Our heros have orders to destroy all quarry vehicles to deny them to the Germans, fair enough, and they do the job. Pinned down first by the owner of the quarry. behind a ridge in the canyon, our sergeant finds a way up from the left and captures the owner from the right!! Still, it's amazing how film-makers can't see the error. later, in amazing feat, our heros manage to get the bulldozer working (if they can do it, it say little of the German's ability to do the same - so much for US sabotage). but they need to ptotect the bulldozer owner who has a change of heart and wants to help, so they get several sheets of 6' x 4' quarter-inch sheet metal and start weling them to the dozer - has anyone ever tried manipulating that kind of thing? So we're back into fantasyland - and all this as the Germans look on. Funny how they didn't try the path that Saunders took until much later - and even when they did, they didn't think of using the ridge for cover that the quarry owner used, thus they were out in the open where they got picked off! Miraculoudly, they got the sabotaged dozer running 0 wonderful gow they did that! But there were two other events before that. Our sergeant runs to the shack containing explosives while the German blast a way at it. Saunders gets what he want and escapes the shack when suddenly a bullet hits the explosives and Booom - but no worries, Saunders is safe as always! In one scene he has to run a short distance and Caje tells him "It's a long run." and our sergeant replies "Only if I can't make it." Well, if he can't make it, then it's not a long run, is it? So the dialogue is nonsense - but clearly nobody thought about that! To sum up, there is nothing in this episode that conformed to logic or sense, yet these American viewers lap it all up as the best series ever made. What a joke!

90% of the time Doc solves conflicts and no one ever knows about it.
I knew for the first time that bulldozer could replace tank.
And Kirby seems to have worked as a welding mechanic at factory .
Meu 👍
Officially dubbed, "The Kirby Tank."

Oh brother was that ridiculous!
This episode - impossible? Probably. Improbable? Maybe. Super "Combat!" entertainment? F***in right!!
I can't believe the Germans would think they could penetrate that shovel. But that's Hollywood.
Combat the one I like since 1970's
siempre veía combate cuando era adolescente no me perdía ningún capítulo. hoy en día tendría que haber una serie igual en honor a ellos.👍
Kirby was in an A-team episode : www.imdb.com/title/tt0504231/fullcredits?ref_=tt_ov_st_sm
Essa é a melhor equipe que eu já vi, parabéns merece medalhas todos 👏👏👏👏👏
Great Eps.
Sgt McGyver and his merry men. Stormtrooper is universal for can't shoot straight.
I can`t believe nobody got hit in the last few minutes from either side. Hmm I know it`s Hollywood........

Reminds me of the 70's horror flick, "Killdozer"
Seems like the jumped the shark kind of episode

This episode was so ridiculous and unrealistic. I loved it.
this must have been the pilot for the McGiver series
Trop bien
This is like an episode of the A-TEAM!
Nobody can hit the side of a barn and they make a vehicle into a tank!
It's all "real" )

What a beautiful/ manly man!!! Yum!???
Long before the "A-Team", there was Sergeant Saunders squad.
This is a team meets MacGyver ;-)

Looks like something from an A-Team episode.
Yeah that is straight up A Team but that steel they used would never stop those bullets.

The Germans should have appreciated the DIY Lego machinen_ always take a welding kit into battle .

Isn't Doc, with that big red cross on his helmet, supposed to be able to walk right out there, and get the wounded guy? C'mon Doc!
You know it and I know it but the krauts seemed to forget it every once in a while.
@@timedefinite3670 NO MY DAD SAID THEY ALWAYS FORGOT IT HE HAD FOUR MEDICS SHOT DOWN DURING A WHITE FLAG
Utterly ridiculous episode. The Jerries should have blasted that acetylene tank, shot out the engine of the tractor, etc., etc..
Yeah...yeah.... yeah.... Another moron who doesn't understand the term 'entertainment' or grasp the concept of fun.
