Crazy plays today with few of them in the Bengals/ Ravens game, and now this one. Jenkins will be is a special part of NFL history.
The Colts-Jags game was also loaded with huge plays. 85-yard TD from T-Law to Brian Thomas Jr., as well as 65-yard TDs from Tank Bigsby and Flacco/Alec Pierce. Just an unreal NFL Sunday from a big-plays standpoint.

I can’t stand the Giants but the runner had control of the ball and it was at least above the line before he fumbled it. Remember it doesn’t even need to cross the goal line, though it looked like it did, and he had clear possession. Also smart defensive play to keep going. Obviously you can’t always rely on the refs or even replay so play til whistle blows.
If only the actually reviewed this play because the running back obviously gets the ball over

We got hosed that play. That was a TD. That ball touched the line before he lost possession.
Either a touchdown or down short of line goal. Either way, it's absolutely should not be a fumble return for TD.

Man how did that not get overturned? His whole upper body was completely over the goal line before he fumbled it out. Even in that bad angle you can see it clearly. All that needs to happen is the ball needs to break the plane which is the very front of that white line and he clearly did that. Make it make sense.
The beauty of replay: The replay officials take 37.38 minutes to look at the play from 1,379 angles and blowing up each frame 297% and still get it wrong!

The commentator is a true hater and bias for the other team, clearly that was a TD 😂 The NFL at their best!! That ball was far pass the end-zone after he dropped it.
Ball crossed the line then he lost it the Seahawks got a home team call.
This was an overall awful sequence by the referees. Not only was his leg and shin likely down, the ball clearly crossed the goal line. The second the ball crosses the white goal line, even if by a hair, it is an immediate touchdown regardless of if the ball comes out. By not calling a TD NOR blowing the play dead, the seahawks player returned it and therefore they had trouble overturning it. TOTAL BS

If the ball crosses the plane with control it is a tuddy. Since the back had lost possession before the ball crossed the plane it (the ball) was contested, therefore no touchdown.

We live in an age of officiating cowardice, whereby these clowns can swallow their whistles and let some nonsense like this play out in hopes that if they are wrong that the review process will trim the play down to where it should have ended. The professional thing to do is to call this the touchdown that it probably was, and in the rare event that the ball popped out, award the other team a touchback so that you don't see something like this happen while 21 people think the play is over. The one thing you don't do is turn into a fan and put everyone at risk of injury chasing a fumble return for 12 seconds with goal-line personnel because you don't have the guts to make a call. If the cameras couldn't find the plane, you couldn't either.
