    RIP Coach Leach. Coached in my hometown early in his career at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt Pleasant Iowa under Hal Mummy, one of the inventors of the Air Raid. You will be missed Coach Mike. 🙏❤️

As a Miss State fan I know of every coach that has coached in the SEC my entire life. This typical Alabama "diehard" fan has never heard of one of the most popular names in college football but his team has player against this coach for the last 3 years. I can't relate to that at all. Alabama fans annoy the hell out of other fan bases. You can smell their arrogance from miles away.

      Mike was great because he won over people regardless of which team they rooted for. Compared to the solemn and capricious personalities of Nick Saban and Jim (cheat) Harbaugh, Leach was such a refreshing change of pace. He will always be missed!

    I always loved to hear Mike having a conversation with someone. He had enough intelligence that he didnt feel the need to show how smart he was. It wouid eventually come out to all that listened to him. I had an emense amount.of respect for him.

Mike Leach was the best thing to happen to Tech athletics since 1923, and that piece of shit Kent Hance didn't like that Kent Hance wasn't the most famous person associated with Tech. It was disgraceful and I, as an alum, hope the program remains cursed until they make it right with Leach, apologizing for how he was treated and paying him the money they owe him, with interest. I also agree with what Coach Leach allegedly told Hance one fateful day in 2009, "Fuck you Kent Hance!"

      Former House of Representatives member Hance was jealous of Mike's popularity and set out to get rid of him. Craig and Adam were pawns Hance used. Having TTU's board of regents void or near void (can't remember) of alumni members was a misstep.
      Funny how Craig ran for political office right after the controversy and Tommy Tubby, the commuter coach who couldnt even finish his contract at TTU is now in the US Senate. Tommy who reads on a 6th grade level has to read his senate speeches. Can't speak off the cuff at all.

    I consider myself very lucky. I was in Lubbock for the entirety of Leach's tenure and it was glorious. The Crabtree game is the greatest sporting event in the history of the world. He REVOLUTIONIZED offenses. Look at his coaching tree: OU Riley, TT kingsbury, WVU holgersen TCU OC cumbie and more. All this success brought down by a lying little weasel. Speaking of weasels....there are TWO thumbs-down to this.....Adam and Craig James perhaps?? Also 8:18 he correctly predicts the world

      I think some in the TTU administration became jealous of him. I also wonder if his being a Mormon had something to do with it too (re: the guy that has a chapel on campus bearing his name). Made me a lukewarm Tech fan at best.

    Coach Leach is so damn funny! I am biased since I am a Coug Fan. Who knows if he will stay or go at the end of this season? I certainly like the swagger he brings to WSU! It was long overdue.

      DachshundDad Bob I'm a gator, but he is my favorite coach right now! So damn funny, relatable, and he has great points. Especially his rant about expanding the playoffs

    The passing of Mike Leach, although tragic, did have the unintended benefit of introducing his genius to millions who otherwise might have never known.
