- This is our first video - on a guy who was as entertaining as he was genuine… and all that aside was just a legendary football coach for his offensive innovations and resurrection of multiple mediocre programs.
A warm and sincere welcome to our brand new channel. There is no one here yet but that's ok. Hopefully by folk 55 there will be a few viewers. Enjoy and we’d extend an invitation to join us for episode 2/55. We'll try to get better at this along the way and uncover some neat folks and stories.
This was great! Thoroughly enjoyed watching it! I miss this guy!!! Funny story, I called the wrong number one time, I got a text back that just said "?" I texted back and said must have dialed the wrong number who is this? I got a text back, "Your number came up on my phone who is this?" I texted back and said my name and that I was sorry I must have dialed the wrong number but not sure who this is. I got another response back "This is Mike Leach. Either way, have a great day!" LOL! This turned into texting back and forth for over 2 years. When Mississippi State came to play Auburn in 2021 we met up at the team hotel and chatted for a few minutes! Absolutely great guy and total character!

Thank you so much for this video! I miss coach Leach so much. So many things I hadn’t heard before. What a national treasure he was. Always envied his approach to football and life. Going against the grain with his own purpose.

I really enjoyed this. I've been a fan of Coach Leach since I first saw that Air Raid offense in Columbus Ohio in 2002. Coaching doesn't have enough guys like him for him to be gone...

As someone from the UK I'm not a American Football fan and I didn't know this man, that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed this. He was certainly a character

Very well done! I graduated from TTU in ‘02, so was very fortunate to be there during the Leach era. He was a great man who enjoyed life and cared very much for the coaches and players around him. His Sword was definitely swung! He’s a Red Raider for life! 👆🏻

Great piece on a very interesting and entertaining man/coach. Craig James was almost the antithesis from his college through professional career!
Really good video, thanks for putting it together. Can't say I was a fan of Leach's teams, but was always a huge fan of the guy. He had a uniques perspective on pretty much everything and that includes his approach to the game. He's one of the real characters in the history of college football and one whose presence is sorely missed.
Rip Coach Leach. Endlessly entertaining, and aleays himself. Dude was a national treasure.
Somebody should do an interview with Hal Mumme about Mike Leach. Hal is kind of a quiet guy, but I bet he has some great Mike Leach stories.

Okay, so what is the "Hidden Video"? These are really good stories. Not into football, but still, a great tale of a man and his Life in his field.
I would like to nominate a couple characters for you to do a story on the first one is Ross Perot who I voted for twice the first time because I believed him the second time to scare people the other person is Sterling Hayden he was a wonderful movie actor but also a fascinating individual and a wonderful author both of his books are a pleasure to read

If I ever saw Craig James. I’d pull my Johnson out and listening him.
Craig James really flucked himself on the deal with his son. He lost his career and has basically disappeared since that incident happened. He was a big name on espn and just poof, disappeared.

@@55Folks RUclips is weird sometimes lol, I was trying to say before that I was blown away by the quality. If you're unaware Jacksfilms has a series where he watches the first couple minutes of videos that other creators submit to him. He provides constructive feedback and more importantly, since y'alls quality is fantastic already, it will be exposed to a large RUclips/twitch audience. I'm gonna be here for all 55 and I'm hoping as many others as possible get to watch these highly entertaining videos! :)
