  • The altar of sacrifice in the Tabernacle plays a pivotal role for Israel. What all was it used for? How is the Messiah tied to it? What other lessons can we learn from studying the altar?

Thank you for this enlightening teaching! It's incredible how the Tabernacle and its offerings symbolize our spiritual journey and relationship with YahuAH. The altar of sacrifice, with its various offerings, truly reflects the depth of YahuAh's grace and our path to righteousness. Fire always burning shows YahuAH always ready to accept our offerings and reconcile with HIM. May we all continually approach YahuAh's altar with humble hearts, offering our lives as living sacrifices. Shalom! 🙏🔥🕊.

    A few humble questions:
At 5:20 you answer the question,
"Why did this sacrifice (sin offering) provide atonement?" by saying, "Because the animal's blood served as a 👉substitute👈 for the blood of the sinner. 👉Rather than the sinner having to die, the animal died on his behalf👈".
You then go on to cite Lev 17:11 (my citation is from the KJV but your translation/version is not given. IMHO it should always be given when citing a passage!)
    Leviticus 17:11 KJV
"For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."
    Now for my first question:
Does the text ACTUALLY SAY WHY the blood makes atonement OR does it simply state the fact that is does? (stating a fact/truth is not the same as giving a reason WHY the fact is true. 🤔)
That thought leads directly to my next question:
Does Lev 17:11 say the animal is a substitute for the sinner? In fact does the Torah ever say this OR is this simply an eisegetical assumption based off the presumed tradition/doctrine of man know as "Substitutionary Atonement"???
Blessing and my His face shine upon you.

Curious… it appears you agree with the PSA doctrine. I would be interested in a teaching supporting this doctrine especially addressing the historically observed use of the sacrificial system and the relatively new introduction of the PSA concept.

Great teaching. Many Gentiles don’t understand. My one major objection is using the word sacrifice, it is something pagans did to attempt to gain favor with there god. We are told not to worship God like them. Korban is offering. We give our offerings accordingly to what God gave us. By doing so we draw near to him. Korban is better translated draw near.

I know this teaching is about another topic, but since it's the newest one I hope I can get an answer here; I have never seen a teaching about psalm 49:7, can someone help me out finding one, preferably a 119 teaching ?

this is speaking of how you cannot redeem a life with money or riches,
"They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:" Psalm 49:6-7 read the whole Psalm, only through God can you be redeemed, that would be by the blood of God's Son, the atoning sacrifice for sins.

We are not to pronounce or let the name of a demonic or pagan on our lips. The J.c. name is pagan origin, ..if we pronounce a name in teaching, that's actually putting it on our lips. How do we justify? We also see those names in the Scriptures. Q...???
