By the way of anyone is wondering, the backup cam stays on for as long as you stay under 7pmh, as soon as you go over 7 it goes away and doesn't allow you to being it back up even w the cam button. But under 7 it will. Like just sitting at a light you can hit the button and view the feed. Pretty cool, but I do wish they'd allow it while driving could be a useful feature
The camera has a "look down with driving guide lines still" feature as well. Arm camera and on the right you see the image of the car, toggles back and forth. In Canada you can get that base model with a stick shift for .. gosh $2000 off the price .. very amazing.
I think my elantra idle start stop system doesn’t work as it should do it, sometimes after 3 seconds or less the engine starts again even if i dont release the brake pedal …. Other times work properly. Also i lost a function that showed how the battery was charging on display but now i lost them.. please let me know if this is normal
I just bought this Elantra but as an SEL. I have the same interior as you and I was wondering if you have had any problems with staining? I was warned that the grey interior stains more easily and to avoid wearing jeans in this car as the dye could rub off on the seats.
Thanks for watching and subscribe! Im not sure since that’s not my car. You’d be surprised how clean seats can get with a little cleaner (just mix dish soap with water in a spray bottle and rub in a little with a soft cloth or sponge)
Just a tip for you as to magnetic camera mounting on a new car or one of which you don't want scratched when using such, always have a small piece of saran wrap or cling wrap handy in your camera bag and put it at the bottom of the magnet base, so it does not scratch the paint when in use. That magnet snaps quickly to metal and can mar or scratch pain easily. Chrome ain't chrome no more, but mostly chromed paint over plastic, so is should not be a big surprise as to how much isn't really metal anymore on new vehicles of any brand. I wish this car came with an electric passenger seat though. It does not elevate or lower with the passenger seat. It does push backwards very nicely, but the manual part of it should be electrical in my own opinion. We just got a 2023 Elantra Limited as my wife's car. Very nice, but for me, I am mostly a passenger in it, so that passenger seat was an issue we hadn't counted on.
That back up camera staying on is great when you shift to drive for if you forgot you put something on your car and drive away, you’ll see it after is falls off behind your car 😂
Misleading video title and description. These are the most basic click bait things that anyone can figure out by just walking into a Hyundai showroom. Video creator hasn't even done basic research before making this video.
Im in the market for this vehicle but literally cannot test drive one.. my only concern really is leg room and that handle bar on the passenger side.. im about your size and frequently have bigger size passengers and I fear thats going to impact leg room severely. Any opinions? Also how is the leg room on the driver side? Thx
@@Drive315 Yes .. engine on then off .. withing 30 seconds or something you do a, well UP on the window wiper lever; one wipe clear. It is in the manual.
Thats the kinda video I've been looking for. I have to 22' Elantra and one thing I've found is that the wipers cannot be lifted, the hood is in the way. I've tried stopping the wipers in the up position but they always go down.
@Brigitte Nadeau hey I actually found a way you can do it so here's what you do. when you turn your car off and pull out the key hold up on your wiper switch for like 2 seconds and then the wipers should go all the way to the up position and stop so you can actually lift them off the window. I found a Honda video where they talk about it or it was a BMW.
@@carterboitim I think he means that he has a push button start. The wipers do come up as stated in the manual regardless if it's a key or push button. Stop the car then hold the wiper arm in the up position for a couple of seconds. They move up about half way to change the blades or clean out snow in the cowl. Once you start the car again, they go down.
Lol dude I have the same car, snd it’s true about the backup camera tho, lol but you forgot to mention that it comes with wheels(rims) but no back speakers,, only front door speakers ,lol make that number 6,, lol but I like the car👍
You forgot to mention the most important thing about this car; that is the 6th most important and most powerful thing that IT HAS FIVE WHEELS! many idiots don't know.
I like the way it is shaped at the back it gives the car a more aggressive sporty/ manly look.

The 2023 SEL with convenience package allows you to engage the back up camera anytime by pushing a button to the left of the gear shift.
I got a software update at the dealer last year and now it works anytime
@@samuelcastillo8041 do you have 2021?
@@rlalani7 yes
You can change that in the settings. You can set it so that it doesn’t stay on the backup camera when you shift gears which is what I set it to.
Hyundai elantra is good. Better than honda .
Thanks for watching and subscribe!
Hell no 😂
back cam stays on until you reach 10km. but you can always change settings...
Thanks for watching and subscribe!
You should have named it interesting things about the car
Not things we didn’t know, they are quiet obvious by just looking at the car
I have a 2021 Elantra SEL. Is there a way to stop the car from turning off after and hour of running in park?
Thanks for watching and subscribe!
I have been looking for the same setting, I idle a lot and hate that it does that.
nice vid! most videos of the elantra online are the top trim, so it’s seeing someone record stuff of the lower trims

The background music slaps too 🔥

Do you know if the Elantra has the knee air bag? Thanks.
Where is the block heater located?

Hyundai did very well with the new Elantra. To me it looks more like the Sonata from the 2011 model year.

Even Benz trunk is plastic. Most of brands doing that. Not only Elantra.
