When you put your cursor over the guard on the castle, it looked like only the people carrying the boxes were allowed in and everything else was being denied. You need to make people with the different colors to make the boxes to be let in to the castle. Some of the colored boxes will be used to make other color boxes.
At time 7:30 in the vid: Once you start building Farms, Flower Mills, and the Bakery, you have your people going up the steps to the Green Area, but you're missing the arrow redirecting your people. The people coming from the Yellow Area are just running across the Greea Area, running into a tree at the edge and falling over. You're NOT getting the income from them... ...which you discovered around 10 minute into the vid...
Love your energy and the idea of disabling the merchant colors based on castle level. I think you found the missing game design piece. I'm gonna playtest that in the near future in a small closed beta. Sometimes you could have used the option to turn the camera. Try pressing and holding the middle mouse button and then using WASD. This will do it. 😉
Should hook up with the project manager to see if the programmer can get the game designer to have a free moving camera as long as the game producer thinks the 3d artist and animator can implement the changes on their end. Good job BTW, having a great time with the game so far.
Your paving the path for the green houses at the end didn't work because you were trying to send them through the marketplace only door. You had them going through the proper door earlier, but then did not reset it back after testing with the stairs.
lol, well the way he played it, it looks like chaos. it's actually not bad, just need to think of each house color as self-contained black-boxes that outputs traders of that color
I can't play this game. The camera and controls are so backward. devs, please fix. Please separate the tilt and zoom function of the camera. 2nd change the way you select buildings. It's so counter-intuitive.
Yes, I will. I'm actually amazed that nobody figured out that by pressing the middle mouse button, you can turn and zoom the camera according to the buttons on the left side (WASD). I guess the reason is because it responds to the wheel wheeling. So, I guess I have to disable the wheel so players are forced to press?
@@Gierki_Dev i was actually referring to being able to zoom out without tilting the camera. i like the over head view further away it allow me to place buildings without error. The tilt is for closer in to admire the graphics/art. (personal preference). The selection of the buildings are also weird to get used to. (unconventional) but thanks for responding. I'll give it another shot.

4:47 the castle didn't change in color, the change is that the guards only let merchants through their entrances.

Well, that escalated quickly…

are you going to play more Forever Skies?
This seems so chaotic xD
You should turn your mass green houses to red
He did a red neighborhood but the castle doesn't let ppl in without carrying something.
This game seems to go from easy to a hot mess PDQ!

Maybe spend a little bit of time understanding how to play the game before you make the video. I usually like your videos but this one was a mess
