Awesome video! As someone with YOW as their base, I'm super encouraged to see a full flight and I hope that demand keeps up and paves the way for other airlines to come in and give the capital some more direct international options.

Thank you for this comment. Both outbound and inbound flight were full. Lets hope it stays that way as you mentionned. As an Ottawa resident I would love to see more airlines @YOW too. Lufthansa would have been great addition if not for the pandemic. There is a lot of potential. How often do you fly out of YOW?

@@bdtravel4 That's awesome to hear! They anticipated the capacity on the outbound flight to Ottawa would be lower so it is nice to hear it was full! I agree Lufthansa would have been another great addition. Another great addition in my opinion would be a low cost option to London Gatwick with an airline like Air Transat. There's lots of demand for London but you would also get access to cheap destinations and vacation packages through easyJet at LGW which I think many people would enjoy. I fly out of YOW a few times a year, I often go down to Syracuse as sometimes you can save but also get the better reliability and options from the airlines in the US. How about you?

@@ryguy2799 I fly out of YOW few times a year too. Mainly to YYZ to catch international flights. I think the demand for YOW will increase. We need more airlines and destinations other than the US and the seasonal south.

Thanks for watching. Canada lags behind many countries in many sectors. Air travel is one of them.

Ottawa's not a major city, roughly comparable to Fort Lauderdale in the US for example, it's a government city with Montreal 2 hours away by train (30 minutes by plane) and Toronto 1 hour by plane, it's never really been needed.

@@Dexter037S4 My city has a lot of potential and the population is growing. Many people have moved here in the last couple of years. Direct flights to Europe have long been expected from the capital. I hope other airlines will follow. Do not forget to subscribe and support my channel

    Your background music is annoying.

@Voltaireooooo thank you for watching. Sorry you feel that way about the background music. I think it's good. But that's a matter of personal perception.
