My first trainer was a O/O ( owner operator) of the carrier I got hired on after school. He treated me like dog, He used my loggs to drive on.Well we got got back after a week back to the terminal, he went to his house & I took the opportunity to get my stuff out & off his trk . I went & talked to a person who helped me get a new trainer. While I was talking to this guy a driver walked in & the guy asked him if he needed a student. Yes he said, well after that it's history, I finished my 6 week training & we exchanged numbers & that was 14 yrs ago & we still stay in contact. I heard of a student in the driver seat while the trainer was in the sleeper & went off Dohner Pass, both didn't make it witnesses said he smoked the brakes.
I’m a trainer and love it , I had a bad trainer and do what I thought it should be with my students and it’s going well . Yea you get that one who doesn’t get it but you get 9 more that rock! Just roll with it and teach , I do it to teach not for the money . 4 weeks and Bam! a New drop ver who is safe and has the skills to hit the road and be a good driver.
Wild Beard sorry I so late watching I never had a driving all I needed was to is take the written test for the class A chauffeur's license and also the CDL no schooling
Truth Wild Beard!! I was a trainer for FedEx. The greatest worst job ever!! Never do it again but yes it is so cool to see a driver learn and become a successful driver. Love your stuff. 🤘

@@WildBeardTrucking BRO I remember when my son was Young Wild age. Dumping toys everywhere. Lol. I would play hot wheels monster truck with him. We be hitting up every Walmart in Houston trying to find the next newest truck. Man still feels like yesterday. They sure do grow up so fast. That's what all our grandparents said. Mine is finishing up his first year of college. Keep spending every minute with YW. They remember..... Be cool and safe out there bro.
@@WildBeardTrucking They do grow up quick. Me and his mother separated when he was 9. Of course the state of Texas granted custody to her. So I missed a lot of time and all I had planned for us during his teenage years. Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about weekend visiting. I had my weekends. I wanted to be under the same roof as him. You know watch him grow and learn and me being able to guide him along the way.. But you know what I'm saying. They grow up fast. Thank you for the kind words. God Bless You and your little one. Take care and be safe out there bro. What kind of drone do you have? I'm thinking about getting one. Also, what about go pro? What do you recommend.
