@@ChasingTenths perfect timing too. I have a track day Wednesday and couldn't decide where to mount my GoPro. Glad I watched your video.
I went for the RAM mount in the Fork stem like yours. 👍

excellent stuff. Super detailed. Love it. I came here knowing nothing and I now know all I need to know about these mounts. I am getting a Tiny Rig or Ram Mount that I can hook my Insta360 X2 on the mirror.
Superb mate , glad you liked it, and I am really happy it was beneficial, sorry for the late reply , some comments slip through the net.
I definitely needed this! I'm going to my first track day in October to Snetterton. Definitely want to record it and see how my body position is
That’s great grant . Let me know how it went . Best of luck . Snetterton is amazing , I really hope it’s a dry day for you
a lot of knowledge, best thing and idea i can get from your video... thank you very much! i wished that i watched before i have made several purhcases.. thanks mate!
Thank you very very much for the kind words , I truly appreciate them
@@ChasingTenths i just get the idea how to put the camera on, do & dont.. but still all the products suggested not compatible with my bike.. i like the idea using stem & gas tank mounting.. but none of it can be installed to my 795 monster.. need to fabricate one
Mega video as per. Love the garage when can I move in 😂
Hahaha, anytime matey ;)
Thanks for the kind words
great video. it's good to record videos so that when in lockdown one can go and watch the good days again and again :)

Awesome stuff again Abhi👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Last year I lost my GoPro cos I stupidly mounted it and as it flew off the front it nearly caused me to run off track, camera and all footage lost. Lesson learned for me! Im screwing on my mounts for 2021. Keep up with the superb and very important content 👍🏻
Thanks Gio
I lost a camera too at Portimao once lol
Learnt my lesson
Definitely sticking with these ram mounts now
Awesome video and even better track bike 💥💯 I love that colour scheme and graphics... Nicely done 👌

Smartest clip of 2021 i have seen
Get the channel bigger buddy 👀👀👀👍🏻👍🏻😎😎😎
if he keeps going like that, this channel is going to get bigger in no time..this is how it's happening: one day,you light up your computer, and there's an addition of thousands of brand new users who sub'ed altogether at the same time.
thank you very much mate , hopefully slowly slowly it will get bigger , its very hard to grow on RUclips these days , there is so much good content from bigger production bike magazines and all and it makes little channel look average ,but I am working on a few projects for sure, thank you , I really appreciate the comment and support
@@ChasingTenths youre sticking to the setup , i see so many copycats .
keep the original stuff going ,
@@cbr1928 thank you mate , I am definitely trying show my true personality and bring some originality in the videos and most importantly, transparency
Good info Abhi. I’m going to loose the headstock cam. I need it for my aim and a cam as well is too much weight causing it to work loose. Mirror blanking plate hole is something I’m 100% trying though. Thank you.
The mirror blanking plate solution is absolutely solid
Doesn’t move an inch at 178 mph at Portimao straight , no juddering , super stable

Good video. im interested in your lap timer set up.
I am off to the race track soon and I will definitely make a video of the set up there , so hopefully you should see a video on it in 2 to 3 weeks maximum , plus I will do another detailed video on the Laptimer itself
Great info Ahbi, like the idea of the ram mount on the headstock, just a shame the handlebars are in the way on the Tuono.
That’s true mate but with Tuono you have a few other options
You got more space on the handle bars
Thanks for watching and commenting :)
Great video man, I like the keep it simple idea. I don't quite agree with the gopro settings, white balance if you just do a quick google search you'll see what works best for the lighting, but auto is fine. The iso plays into the glare, so setting it to 100 min and 200max helps a ton. Also the sharpness I set to low (add it in during post) go pro over sharpens things. And the color I set to flat (I adjust in post) as gopro over staurates the footage. But if you shoot in 4k 60fps you can render to 1080p and get a very very crisp video. Oh set your camera to manual focus and just set it to focus on the point you want to be clear, or if your camera has a presentation mode use that.
Absolutely mate I agree with the settings , but the main point of the video was just press the record button and go.
I try to sometimes sort out all the settings for the vlog but for helping the people who find things complicated
I just chose the easiest setting
I tried auto setting with a dark ND filter
And it really works well
I think with the points you have raised , I’ll do a proper dedicated GoPro settings video
@@ChasingTenths yea man, just throwing out settings that I played with that work great. But yea everything you said makes it a great set it and forget it .
😍😍
Thank you ☺️
Sugru is great for securing mounts :-) I like how you do the mirror blank with RAM mount. I do a similar thing for trackdays as you do with the stem mount, gives a great perspective and if you use a 360 camera you can get both a front facing and rider facing view with horizon lock! :-) Some great angle options there Abhi
Thank you mate , however you are the 360 degree road guru
Once i start doing some road reviews
Then I will definitely look up your video again on 360 mounts
I really loved that video
@@ChasingTenths that vid is on course to hit 50k views maybe this year, is my best viewed vid. I don't use such long selfie-sticks with it anymore though as the bounce too much. I damaged the casing of my Insta360 One X2 yesterday, one of my clamp mounts failed, fortunately it still works and didn't scratch the lenses.
1 of the reasons to go for a resolution above 1080p is probably so youtube uploads your footage using the better codec, esp if you don't have that many subscribers yet.
That’s true John and I am trying to experiment with higher resolution soon.
I do have different camera settings and all sorts but I really wanted to show people what simple setting could look like with a bit of ND filter. So many people just want to press record and go these days. And that was me too few months ago too lol
Thank you for watching 👍🏽👍🏽
@@ChasingTenths I wish i could record in 1080p and youtube still gives me the good codec but my channel is too small. Anyway for hero 8, if you try 2.7k and 4k, all fps settings give you the same duration/mb if you set it to high bitrate.
@@motorjack141 aaahh ok
Understandable 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
woah. Back up my G. lemme see that reservoir setup.
Hahaha, I think I have a video somewhere with the reservoir, PCR Performance did that for me
good, only tail and behind front screen for me lockwired down....seeing you have done the mounts, often wondered what a good telemetry program to use with the go pro..I have a hero 9, so its a bit complicated to choose etc...when not using it....
If you see some of my clips I have put in the video especially the Silverstone clip has a gps telemetry app
Called TRACKDAY GENIUS
it’s brilliant
Download that
It’s amazing
Im at doni 25th May and will put the gopro remote sync'd to 3 units.. Need to get the rear arm.
GoPro remote is brilliant mate .. and especially with extra strong Velcro , it won’t move anywhere ....
I don’t use it cause I only have only one GoPro in front and one 360 in rear that’s it .. thanks for watching mate
@@ChasingTenths bro its easier when joing clips as well for editing. Got a cheap toy needs to be tested fingers crossed all goes well..
💖💖💖👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks Roy 👍🏽👍🏽🤗
Hey thanks for the video. Is the Sugru really reliable for the front of the helmet? Thank you :)
hi mate , so so sorry for the late reply , sometimes I don't get notified about fresh comments on older videos. Yes, Sugru is really really good, I had no issue at all , it's super solid and very flexible , it can come off leaving no mark on the helmet but it's very safe , secure and super solid
One of the best videos I’ve seen for videos and telemetry! Question on the xgps160 though. You mentioned not having to have the phone onboard anymore. How? Ive always ran the xgps160 with my phone running Harry’s Lap timer. Have I been doing it wrong the whole time?
Thank you Jason , much appreciated mate . I don’t how it works with Harry’s lap timer anymore , I haven’t used that for 4 years but the app I use now is “Trackday Genius” and for that you don’t need phone all the time on bike unless you are doing live laptiming
So I do my laptiming through GoPro’s gps then when I come home I merge thar GoPro gps and video with the app and then I know what laptime I did
But to get live laptiming you still need your phone on the bike . Hope it helps my friend , thanks for the appreciation again
@@ChasingTenths I actually run the xgps160 with Harry’s and as a back up, will run GoPro and transfer the data when I get home also, but to Rqce Chrono Pro, which is pretty awesome for the $22 you spend on it.
I just have misunderstood when you said you could leave the phone and just use the xgps. Either way, I’m going through the rest of your videos. I also have sent several of my sessions to Mike Edwards. Fantastic coach!
@@jasonsarmiento3029 wow , thanks for watching my videos on a roll , really appreciated

ruclips.net/video/1qBZWBYOTF4/видео.html
Abhi, do you have any instructions how to connect the gopro to the i2m? I'm a bit stuck at the moment.
That’s a very tough one mate
I tried everything
Didn’t succeed then I gave up but I think you can record with GoPro then through Danas software you can transfer the gps file to the GoPro video
@@ChasingTenths ah ok mate no worries, got a mate who's done it but he's in estoril and my bikes on its way to cartagena 🤯🤯🤯
@@Zeebo1uk ooohh that’s really good
I really need to sort this out next year
What about a 360 wrist mount
Yeah , absolutely no harm in that, it captures everything without you taking your hand off too much , good suggestion that
What case is that for your insta360
It was a marine case , they don’t make that anymore sadly , it was water proof and didn’t let wind in , I ordered it from America , I think it’s called Ventura case for Insta360 one x
Would this work on a car that I use on the racetrack?
Absolutely, it can definitely work in a car or outside
If you are doing to put the camera inside the car then put all the settings on the GoPro on auto as car is dark from inside then it’s bright outside
Those mounts can work on a car too
I use two mounts on my convertible when I am filming
what a great ,informative topic...you actually answered a lot of my questions without having to ask them lol.brilliant.
now,i still have some questions:
1-as for a 360 cam, do you recommend the go pro,or the X1 you uses yourself?
2- then,do you think 2 cams mounted on the bike is enough to cover all interesting angles,to have the best possible shots?
3- do you think the go pro hero 9 black is the best compact action cam for motorcycle action shots?
i lol'ed quite a bit on your caustic comments of the day '''''waste of grey matter''''' ''''looking as an imbecile''' or even funnier ''''''if you're in love with yourself that much '''''
as usual, your tact and stance-look make your videos a charm to look at.i can't believes you don't have more subscribers.....but i figure that in a year or 2 you'll be able to get a good living out of your channel........and your bike looks amazing haha.
can't wait to see you posting new on track action...and a serious test of the 2021 RSV4...if only you could get a hand on either the RSV X or even the TUONO X for some sort of extensive track test, that would be nothing short than amazing.
Will definitely reply in a few mins mate
100 percent
Just driving
Thank you Sylvan for a detailed comment as always :-
Answers
1: I would recommend the 360one X2 , it’s much better than the X1 now and easy file and editing management than GoPro max
2. One GoPro camera in the front and 360 camera in the rear sorts everything out mate, you get all actions covered
3. GoPro Hero 9 black is the best , it’s brilliant
Hahaha thank you so much for watching the videos with so much concentration because you remember all the funny phrases
I can’t wait to post some track content soon
Hopefully soon
Yes, I will hopefully test the 2021 on track in June but I think by that time British media would have done it already
In terms of subscribers
That’s really hard to achieve these days
, all the big companies are on RUclips and they make small RUclips people me a bit amateur and to be honest I am amateur vlogger at the moment but let’s hope the future is as promising as you mentioned in your comment :)
@@ChasingTenths woaw.thanks for this awesome detailed answer...and you know what? i will follow your advices : i'm getting the 360 X2 and 2 hero 9 to replace the old 4's i have since close to a decade now.
now,i don't care about the other reviewers...i want to see YOUR review....you're probably the most credible aprilia expert on the tube right now,so to me,only your opinion on the 21 RSV4 is credible to my eyes......hold on man, your futur on youtube as superbike motorcycles tester ,reviewer ( plus the various technical reviews you do on accessories and different stuff) is bright.you're better and better at every new videos....you can count on me,i'm talking about you to my riding buddies, and generally talking about your channel at every occasions .
@@sylvandespres7654 wow thank you so much
This means a lot to me
And thanks always for the constant support and appreciation
how to make the camera have map ,speed and times?
For that you would need to make sure the gps is on , on the GoPro and then you will need to use a lap timing app like race chrono, or trackday genius or Harry’s laptimer .. then you merge the GoPro footage into that app and you get your lap timing , circuit map etc . I will do a separate video on it soon
@@ChasingTenthsBro , thanks for your reply and looking forward to your new videos
