They tell you to stretch out the host first and hold for 1min BEFORE using as it encourages the reinforced latex tube to create expansion memory for optimal performance.
Im taking mine back, for the first time I turned it on it blew the plastic end off the connection piece that screws on to the faucet, I mean blew the bottom end off the top piece.
What's strange about this hose if you do what they say for" pressure memory" it still shrinks while you're using it. So when you bring it 50 feet away and turn it on, it shrinks and pulls you back. Useless- unless you're fine with 25 feet of hose. You'll need 2 to bring it to 50 feet. At least the cheaper ones didn't do this- you could use the whole length. I guess it's the pressure valve that makes the hose do this.
Mine worked fine last summer, but I just took it out of my basement storage and hooked it back up and it heavily leaks from the piece that has the “H” logo on it. What a piece of crap! It was very expensive for one season of use!
Dude, 90 psi is way too high for residential appliances like washer machine hoses, dishwasher hoses, toilet hoses, water heaters, etc. I work in the water industry & you should NEVER have 80 psi getting into your home. Your PRV needs to be adjusted if you have one. If you don’t have one then you need one.
The hose bibb I connected the hose to is before the PRV. After the PRV the pressure is around 60 PSI. I used the high-pressure hose bibb to test the "burst-proof" tech.
NOT burst proof. It exploded a couple hours ago causing harm to my child. Their support told me this can happen. I strongly recommend NOT buying this piece of crap. After the burst, the brass fitting violently hit my son in the chest, causing harm. Perhaps they can have a warning label or something that says, "Use at your own risk".
It is for VERY light use only, like watering vegetables. The built-in pressure regulator works to keep the hose from bursting, but the water pressure is not very good.

woooo let's go Ben
Leaked after a few weeks. Update please. Is yours leaking?
My grandma used it for a couple months before she lost interest in gardening, so I'm not sure.

can you do a follow up to this video? would be interested to know if you still like it or not.
I bought the hose for my grandma, she still likes it and uses it for her vegetable garden.

My grandma lost interest in gardening shortly after she bought this hose, so it never got much use
The pressure thing stops the hose from pushing water out. It’s horrible

Terrible hose
