I’m 43 ….African American female, I don’t even get pain pills. Basically told me to deal with it until menopause. I guess they go away during menopause’s I don’t think this is right, or fair to have to suffer until God knows when with this 8cm bulge, fatigue, painful periods… reoccurring infections from all the bleeding. I have suffered with these fibroids for years and I want them gone! My gynecologist wants to treat them with suggesting hormones and all this mess which I refuse to take. I have three which are not large. Can be treated fairly quickly with emolization. I am active, not over-weight and have never been a pain sufferer. I already did this UFE procedure in 2019. It’s been 4 yrs now. It’s a painful procedure which they did to me in complete consciousness. Ok. Anyhow I took all the pain during and post UFE. After that my periods become scanty. As it cut down the blood supply to uterus.
