As a beginner producer, this makes me feel way more comfortable and secure knowing that even the biggest artists produce music in their bedrooms/living rooms. 😊
I think my favourite on the album went from being Like Him to Rah Tah Tah. I feel that’s because we are constantly waving in and out of grief. It’s a complicated thing. You’re always trying to balance time for self confidence and time to let yourself feel and process things that happen to you. You need balance to get through, otherwise you tip too much to one side and end up crashing either way, but learning through that is important too. From favouriting Like Him to Rah Tah Tah, it’s a transition from that time of feeling to a moment of empowerment. Sometimes you’ve gotta stop crying and hit some mean dance moves so hit play on Rah Tah Tah

my fav song has changed from judge judy, to ihyfywm, to tomorrow and then to take your mask off. these 4 songs are so important to me from this album bc it truly speaks to me as a young adult in this life living day by day trying not to stress too much about the next day and what it’ll bring, trying to find my way home as an artist, finding myself and taking off a mask that fits so well in front of others, and truly not judging myself for the things i truly enjoy, and not caring abt judgement from others. this album speaks to so many people, but for me, it’s almost a reflection of parts of life that i’m currently living. thank u for this.
The first time I listened to chromakopia, Darling I stood out the most from the rest, I didn't think people would agree but it turns out the whole internet thought the same. But one song that is so underrated for me is definitely take your mask off. The vocals really reflect the overall mood of this song and this meaning hits deep with the situation that is going on my life so I could relate a lot. This song definitely made my year better and I hope people find the greatness in this song.
Tyler deserves his flowers a long time ago 💐 🌸 🌹. One of the greatest unique artists/producer to ever do this. Keep growing bro! You awaken so many people in ways you can’t even imagine. Thank you. All love.
Seeing it filmed like this, with a mix of more professional shots alongside some that just look like random videos or even something you would see out of a zoom call makes this feel so much more personal. This is one of the best examples of showing the creative process that I have ever seen.
you can tell when person was born with a specific purpose. like their existence is part of something wayyy bigger. so cool to see that. tyler was fr made for this
I have been around since rap started I’m 57 years young and lately I have not enjoyed rap until I came across Kendrick which lead me to you. This project or should I say experience has renewed my faith in where rap is going. I have not listened to a album from front to back in a while but I was sucked into this experience from track one. Rap hasn’t been about telling stories lately and I am so glad and proud that you are bringing it back to where it started. This has been on repeat and I THANK YOU!!!. This definitely a classic and masterpiece. THANK YOU TYLER!!! This is one of my first listens to your music and I am instantly a fan. Great work of art❤❤❤❤❤

I love how Tyler seems to work on his projects inside and also outside of the studio! Thanks for this video, and thank you so much for the album Tyler!
Cuz they aren’t musical artist and don’t craft their sound from scratch. He’s literally doing it himself or he has someone that can play a certain instrument and tells them the sound he wants. Him crafting his music is what’s selling records😂
5:43 its moments like these that make the process of making music or art in general so enjoyable and worth it : when youre at a level where you know youre the shit and youre just amazed at what you can make and how well u can convey and express ur feelings into ur art, and that chuckle captures every part of that feeling . This video is so raw and i love it
I won't say my favorite song exactly changed because i've been very patient with approaching the album, but ive been resonating with "i hope you find your way home" the most. From what i've perceived from the song, youve covered the basis of all the other songs in the album to top it off, for example talking about; not being ready to have a kid, wondering if you should find a relationship before its too late, being paranoid, where you came from and reminding me people your him. These were all things i deeply felt and understood throughout the album and hearing it all in one it really made it more powerful. Not to forget the beginning, the message of hoping you find your way back home. It makes me think what is my home? where am I most comfortable? and finding out how to get there. Then the ending with the message from your mother (I believe). Your creator, it is like a recharge or a brought back to life moment. To me its like the explanation of why you've made it this far and just the reminder of her being proud means a lot.
I love how with your projects. I never can just listen to one song. I always want to listen to the whole album every time. Like I have to start from the beginning every time.
thats proper album music for you, its an experience rather than just some songs to pick out for a playlist. Not bashing the other way either theres a place for both
after listening for a couple weeks my favourite song is “I hope you find your way home” it’s so ethereal and a journey to listen to. The bts of the creative process has also given the song another layer of depth for me, seeing the artist alone - truly reflecting and creating. Also resonates a lot with me rn feeling my fked up and uncertain in my early 20s. Gives me hope it’s all gonna be ok even tho so much is changing, thank u Tyler 💜
this is a beautiful reminder that its IMPORTANT to see the craft behind the production. people really do get confused about WHAT IT TAKES to make a single song, forget a whole EP or album. you gotta *craft* it.
chromakopia is such a personal project with unforgettable first listen, it pretty much is all i've been listening to since october 28th and i feel like i could watch the whole process of each song being crafted and not be tired of it. that's the first time i've felt this grateful for art
I know a lot of folks have been sharing really vulnerable stories because of your music, and it’s amazing that your music can inspire people to do that. For me though, none of the songs have hit me in that same way, at least not yet. My experience with this album is getting to share and enjoy it with the people I love, my friends and family. I just got to see my friends last weekend and party with them and jam out to this amazing album, and in doing so I found my favorite song to be Balloon. When I first heard it I thought it was so goofy and out there, which it is, but now I appreciate it for that exact reason. It encapsulates the joy I feel when I’m with my friends and how thankful I am that we are in each other’s lives. All in all, thanks Tyler, for making an incredible album, for unapologetically being yourself, for sharing a part of your story as a person, and giving us great music to share with the ones who matter to us :)
You inspired me to write out my outline for a fantasy novel series I wanted to make since I was in 10th grade. I’m gonna write and write and write until my dreams become reality ✨🫶🏾
as a musician, it's genuinely so heartwarming to see other musicians in their element like this because i know exactly how it feels. like seeing tyler get all jittery and excited over his music makes me so unbelievably happy because i've experienced the same thing and it's an indescribable feeling
I loved watching this process so much. I feel people really forgot that making mysic isnt easy, I promise you s lot of people think you go in, choose a beat you like, write some lyrics and go home, forgetting ALL of the production work behind each and every song
Stuff like this will make me fall in love with an album all over again. Just the true passion and effort that goes in to making every second sound as good as it does. Love this so much. Love it love it love it
You can see how Tyler is aging and it’s making me sad :( I love you Tyler. Keep doin what you’re doing be funny and keep making music and changing lives❤

Probs cause most don’t do shit like this lol.
To me its like the explanation of why you've made it this far and just the reminder of her being proud means a lot.

after listening for a couple weeks my favourite song is “I hope you find your way home” it’s so ethereal and a journey to listen to.
