Thanks Jippy the DZSA Launcher is a big improvement. I've been joining from my microwave up until now and have always had issues getting the mods to download correctly.
regardless of some people's opinions on external launchers, I think it's a super slick way to filter install mods etc. Way better than the official launcher in my eyes
It says The Iteam DZSALancher.exe that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly how do I fix this ?

@@JippyUK mine does the same thing, it says that the client has a newer version of one of the mods, and to wait for the server to update. Beyond that it just lists the file location for the mod in reference. I managed to get into one modded server. Every other server I have tried brings this up.
Very nice video, not rushed or hyper at all. Loved it. I already know how to us DZSA Launcher (for years now) but wanted to check for anything new. Sometimes I have tried a new modded server only to be stopped by being told I had a conflicting mod, but I didn’t have any installed or subscribed to. Since I had the game and workshop mods deleted out of the proper folder on my PC. This wasn’t addressed tho. Can you please add another video with the fix for this issue? Ty Sandpiper Birdie
Very odd that error. Assuming it was bought off steam the only thing I can think of is to try right clicking on dzsa launcher and choose "Run as administrator". Perhaps that will fix it?
Steam isn't running, couldn't find Steam, AppId is ureleased, Don't own AppId. When I try to open the launcher I get that error and it immediately closes.
Only thing I can suggest off top of my head is that if you are loading Steam in administrator mode, make sure you are opening DZSA in administrator mode as well, or vice versa. Sometimes can be funny like that. Otherwise I'm not sure what else it could be perhaps someone else will drop a comment. Thanks again!
Hi , on my PC there is no path like yours.I get to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and next I have C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared
I guess you have your steam games installed to somewhere else then? It is the path where you would have installed installed. You can also right click on dayz > manage > browse local files in steam to find the path that way

I cant download some moda its look like this i click button "play" so dayzsa show me window with mods to download and after it dont starting and even if I download mod by my self dayzsa cant see this. Hey! Should be pretty straight forward. I assume you have steam open before you try opening the launcher? Have you tried right clicking on DZSA launcher and launching in Administrator mode? Perhaps that will allow it to communicate with steam (if perhaps your steam is launching with admin privs) ?

i dont see a difference really in the normal launcher and this launcher, both install mods on their own if you dont have the mods, both tell you what mods the servers has, i have not once had to manually install a mod with the normal launcher
Yep agreed. By now both will get you into the game without much trouble. The DZSA has a better server list and filters if you ask me. You dont have to wait to refresh the entire server list when you are searching for a server (like the official launcher) apart from that, each have their pros n cons.
@@JippyUK i also forgot to ask if you can filter by mods on the DZSA? cuz the normal launcher you cant. i mostly play pve and dislike the normal launcher for this cause. need that collectable mod lol
No I don't think you can filter by mods. You can filter by map whether it's first person etc but not by whether a server has a specific mod. Don't think so at least :)
Ah I'm not sure on this one. That issue has only been happening recently for some reason. Some servers suddenly didn't start appearing on this launcher. Sometimes they do though
Hi man! Nope you don't. Every mod you download goes in its own directory and when you join a new server it loads only the ones it needs or downloads new ones. No need to delete mods unless you want to recover disk space :)
Hey DLTL thanks for the comment! This app has been around for so long! It was dayz launcher when dayz was based on the arma2 mod. Its a great and simple way of jumping in a server. Did you not enjoy the video?

It just keeps kicking me of when I load in it’s saying you were kicked off he game data verification error and a bunch of other stuff

Hey if I own DayZ on Xbox can I play it as a Windows version when on pc and play on modded servers or do I need steam version ?

You need to uninstall the launcher and reinstall as a file reset. You do this because of corrupted files within your dzsa launcher

Some servers on the default Day Z launcher aren’t showing on DZSA launcher. Is this normal?
Fairly normal. They aren't always syncd. I know that dzsa will not show the servers if they don't respond on health check

DZSA seems to cause more problems than it solves, it hates when a server changes its mods, the standard launcher does everything you need.

Top right of the DZSA launcher there is a bit of text which says "Settings" from there a panel opens and you can change your path there.
Will this work on a laptop?
Should do yes, assuming you have Steam and Dayz installed on the laptop will work fine.

You no longer need to do this. When downloading the game on steam you can now just join games with mods without having to ever download dzsa
