This (Tips & Tricks for Namalsk in 2023) video was put together to help new and experienced players get to grips with the demanding map of Namalsk in DayZ.
The DayZ player base is still growing and the number of players online is the highest its ever been - Most people can learn something new so hopefully even 1 tip I show will help you out.

I played day one namalsk for the first time yesterday. Already had the best adventure I’ve ever had in my short Dayz career of only about 300 hours. Absolutely remarkable.

Superb video! Namalsk is brand new to me, and this was a huge help getting acquainted. I thought the music was fine, by the way. And I enjoyed the little touches like the occasional emote to accentuate a point.

Thanks - someone else has said its too loud and I hadn't noticed myself but I will certainly look at toning it down in future vids
@SurvivingChaos Yes, it's a bit too loud you could either raise your voice volume or turn the music down. Otherwise great vid!

@@SurvivingChaosthis is a pretty helpful video. So much so that it’s warranted to take it down and reupload with lower music volume. It’s really hard to hear exactly what your saying
You can create a single use bandage by making a fireplace and removing the bandage, you can warm up with a gas stove, if you eat or drink something freezing several fires made close together will save you, or if you consume it with heat buff you'll live. Tara hunting stands often spawn 308 snipers. It is possible to swim to lantia summit the mountain and shoot inside
It is possible to phase through part of the dam stash an item and exit, although this is obviously less then moral. And easy to get stuck or worse.
When on the ice the wind always blows north, canned food can be cooked for faster thawing, elevation and proximity to ocean lower temperature. Moving is slightly warmer then standing still. Fires outdoors will take far longer to warm up.

You can wring out the tanker helmet. This also has high insulation and some protection

The stash spot worked I found 4 barrels 10 pots and 6 protective cases full of gear on a vanilla namalsk server in vorkuta haha

This game is so crazy even for me who played for 3000hrs there is something I didnt know.
Learned something new! Didn’t know the lantia injector made you invisible to z’s.
Back in the day (2 years, wow /s) I played on Spaggie's Namalsk every now and then, only managing to cross the middle twice if i remember correctly, ill try again tonight with these tips in mind

Just tried this map for the first time. Issue im having is im not finding any wild life to hunt. Food is very scarce.
fishing is key to survival on namalsk
Fingerless gloves are medium insulation and you can wring them out.

You can also put a ballistik vest inside a ammo box and place it in ur plate pouches just to get abit more protection from impact =)
ty, just a quick tip. Next time you make a video don't make the music to loud or speak up a bit. It was kinda hard at times to figure out what you were saying. Besides that thanks for the tips nice vid

The music was a bad idea. I did know them all but I have over 12,000 hours. The head torch is much better than the gas light. Otherwise good advice.
You can put hat, gloves, scarf, shemac into a cooking pot and stove and dry them

How to get fish, I have killed people with fish but I don't know how to get them, in namalsk
You just need a rod and hook (boats) - or craft a rod with long stick + rope, hook with knife + bones. No bait needed.
