I'm telling yall right now this is a good loot route but, its not the absolute best. If you want to get down south as fast as possible while maintaining decent food / water this is what you do. first you wanna get a spawn in the hills over next to jalovisko. you will know you have got the spawn if you run inland and see a metal shed with a rusted vehicle and fire barrels. the other way to know you have gotten a jalovisko spawn is if you spawn a little bit off the coast and see a tall needle like tower off in the distance. once you get the spawn head up towards the tall needle and look around. you should see jalovisko in the distance. jalovisko provides great food and water but its a frequent spawn for most people. when you have looted most of jalovisko start heading to the water pump in the city and keep going straight until you hit the coast. when you do keep along the coast with the coast to your left, it will take you all the way up to bk- L16 were you can loot the t2 loot there and make your way up to the right of the first major hill. when you get to the top of the mountain you will see Athena 2 which provides decent loot and clothing along with barracks for a fireplace to cook food that you may have found on your way up there. when your done with Athena, head up to the second big mountain you will see which has a military base on top of it. the military base is called LO-1 which is easily recognizable by the massive space needle on the top of it. LO-1 has some of the best loot in the game such as ak-ms, ak-74s/74us, m4a1s and so on once you are done with LO-1 follow the road toward the guard shack at the entrance all the way down to LO-2 which also has high tier t3 loot.
I've found one thing that helped me survive was keeping a medium tent on me when you head south. Real good for saving your butt in a blizzard or EVR storm.
Vorkuta for food and possibly a gun on the top of buildings. Try to find a body or kill someone for bones and make a fishing rod. That will help with food a lot. Then I head south to the camps and research for better guns and clothing etc

That run from Vorkuta to the first mil base is a long LONG run if you don't find much food or drinkable water. Maybe include some pit stops on the way there cause people will just die of starvation or the cold running that far without the right gear
Really just the rooftops of apartments, the construction site, and the two yellow cranes for guns scopes and ammo. You can check inside of apartments for clothing and food, the school has a well for water. Also the fire station is great for warm clothing. Finally there are 3 military tents on the outskirts of town

How does he get those aerial views? I would like to do that myself to start learning the map as if I'm looking at google maps. I use it a lot, it would translate well, I'd learn fast. Please, help me. How do I get the ability to get that aerial view?
Some ppl are just going to shoot on sight no matter what. I have a beginners guide to interactions but as you play you start to learn signs of friendly. Are they talking to other ppl, do they have a gun out at all times, tone of voice can help to. It just takes time tbh
Both times I went to vorkuta off the spawn, I found nothing essential. No food at all. One gun, no bullets and only clothes. I am able to get five times the essential gear in the little shacks along the coast. I don’t know if it’s the server I’m on, or what. But that town seemed worthless.
Honestly Namalsk can be hit or miss in the fresh spawn areas. There’s 3 spawn areas and 30-50 ppl on a server so sometimes you just get unlucky and it’s been picked clean I find the little villages to be great for loot if you’re lucky but much more dangerous. vorkuta takes longer to find stuff but you can be sneakier
@@AmishZed I was hoping vorkuta would be packed for loot and be a more risk vs reward to venture there because the PvP could be great there. I just haven’t found any reason to go there yet. if it was swimming with loot it would be an awesome place to fight for gear. I’ll try going again on a low pop server to see if anything worth it is there.

I wouldn't bother with this map. Server owners for this seem to be really vindictive people for some reason. Having control over such hardcore elements tweaks their heads and makes them forget how minor game improvements work.
@@chiefl0ngbranch I'm using a vanilla offline mode of the map so it's exactly how it was during that patch, I don't think the crane has moved. Could be you're playing on a map modded server?

i swam to the island base as a fresh spawn and got a svd, ak74 and luckily found a fishing rod and got food that way.

How to get LAR?
On Namalsk I think that would be an A3 spawn. So you'd have to push the button at A2 during a storm and jump in the portal to A3
