      +Stuart Tomlinson You shouldnt give everything for free and with no work input involved, its against Muay spirit. The student should train, fight search/discover for himselfvia his teacher, and he will appreciate it more AS WELL AS BUILD THE ALL IMPORTANT BONDING SPIRITUALLY BETWEEN THE 2. I appreciate what you are doing, but videos like these are partly the cause for gym failures.

    I'm liking this vid its very educational for new muay thai practitioners and you givr very good ideas. although in my opinion a confidence kicker will be also a sneaky kicker and a fast kicker and he'll try different combos and tricky kicks and sweeps so the traditional let's say outside shin kick will be perhaps the last thing he will try. but thats just me

    Very good channel, but why I dislike: he talks too much, and there are things he tells that aren't true. Though very nice hair and excellent channel.

    • @warriorcollective
      @warriorcollective  8 лет назад +2

      +enfantterrible666 Ha ha, I have never had anyone say nice things about Louis Aitken's hair before, now that you mention it though, he really does, doesn't he ;-) He can talk our Louis for sure but if you listen closely, his details are well worth taking on board. He is one of the best young instructors I have ever met and I am sure there is nothing he has said that is not true, more likely, it is just his personal opinion on this subject. Thanks for the kind comments on the channel and his hair though, glad you enjoyed it!

    that could be replaced with showing.

    the dislike button are from those who went to train and fight in thailand. the last move, it's not safe or efficient to hold a kick to the arm and counter attack with efficience. if you fight a proper nak muay and get you arm smashed by the kick you will get unbalanced or you have your arm injuried this will cause a huge delay in the response to the kick. this is the opposite of what we train in thailand

      I do appreciate where you are coming from and I am sure there are others who share the same view. However, that is the beauty of this channel, each instructor offers variation and different perspective on their particular martial art. Take what works for you and disregard what doesn't is what I always say. Louis is an excellent instructor whom I know has spent time living and training in Thailand. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, I hope you continue to look on the channel for other videos that you may connect with more!!

      Ha ha, Louis likes to talk for sure but there is something to be said for someone who tries to explain in great detail. I hope you enjoyed the video regardless and took some great stuff from it!

    0:27 That's a classic bully move. The smirk to camera an everything. You didn't have to do him like that. It definitly looked that you were gonna square with him. Nice video anyway but don't be a jerk.
