Hi Unix, congratulations on reaching 100k subscribers! i always loved your videos! When i see this video and the content of HTB CDSA, it reminds me to your other video when you recommend taking blue team level 1 cert. These two cert have some similirarity and i would like to see a video of you comparing them in depth (strength of each cert, value for money, beginner friendly, etc). Thanks a lot and hope you have a wonderful day!
hey mate thanks for your support! They’re indeed similar and both of great quality. I would personally do both because it’ll give me a chance to practice these intermediate level topics! For what its woth, CDSA is more up to date and covers a bit more topic but they’re both great
I was curious about the same thing. I’ve done the Microsoft Cyber Analyst course from Coursera, Sec+, and was debating what step to take next; BTL1 or HTB CDSA. I went with CDSA since all the content from the intro path and prereq’s, to the job role paths themselves on HTB are really high quality and up-to-date. Plus with the Silver Annual Subscription you get access to all the modules in the SOC Analyst, pentesting, and bug bounty paths in addition to the voucher. I plan on taking the CPTS after so I’d say the value for money is there if you’re interested in multiple paths. To make it even sweeter, I’ve also heard from folks that have done the OSCP, that the CPTS has better depth and breadth of content. HTB is challenging, but it expands your knowledge and skills really forces you to learn how to problem solve rather than rote memorize concepts.
Thank you for helping me in starting my studies. I am almost finished with my Google cybersecurity studies then I'm going move over to this course! Your advice has been the most valuable when it comes to getting started and how to progress with my studies. Thank you once again!

I just started the CDSA this week and I'm super excited. I will probably get all 3 HTB certs as they look really valuable. I was going to go for a bunch of CompTIA, Blue Team level 1, CCNA cyberOps, etc. However, these HTB certs look perfect for getting my first job.

Your videos are great. I first heard about this from you. So thank you for putting it on my radar. I went through TCM security’s Ethical Hacking course work. Eye opening. I’m now Going through CDSA and it’s interesting seeing it from the other end. I feel well rounded. CDSA is Super helpful and with smooth Linux labs. Its remarkable. @@UnixGuy You responded so fast! Thank you. I’ll definitely be taking a look at your course to round off my knowledge. My introduction to infosec was through Security+ 601 and AWS. I’m certified in the former, but not in the latter. I have very very basic AWS skills. At first, I was just trying to get a job in “cyber security“ and those efforts were leading me to soc analyst. But that was an uphill battle to get hands on experience (Licensing, system requirements, expensive). So I’ve been studying web application security and network pentesting, which has been the best decision I ever made. You learn A LOT pushing yourself through those labs. I use Linux and burpsuite every day. Enumerate Active Directory, crack hashes, it’s awesome! Ironically, there’s more resources to learn what I believe is the *harder* profession (web application/networking pentesting) than the entrylevel soc stuff. HTB’s CDSA is an absolute game changer here. I just want to land a job; help desk, tier 1 soc or Junior pen tester. Once I get through CDSA, I’m going to get at least one AWS certification (I paid for the courses I just haven’t finished them). The moment, I land a job, the first thing I’m doing is getting my CISSP. By the way, I think it was a CCNA lab that you suggested? I want to practice my switches and firewall skills and stuff like that.
Hi Unix! Congrats reaching the 100k !! Well deserved! Your Videos are so helpful and I am happy to see more of them. I have one question: I just started (this week) the Google Cyber Security Certificate, which you recommended in one of your Videos about 6 months ago. What do you recommend me to do now. Stop the free trial of coursera at this point and switch to the "hack the box" certification or shall I finish the google certification on coursera first? Thanks a lot, really appreciate your advice ! Cheers from Switzerland !
You are amazing! Your videos helps a lot! I cannot put in words all the help I'm getting from your videos. Thank you so much! One question: What is better for a beginner (already have Google CYbersecurity Certificate and ISC2 CC) the HTB CDSA or BTL1??? I'm stuck trying to decide between one of them!
I have questions. Would you recommend this cert over blue team lv1 or does it not matter? If one does the HTB cert at what point during the cert would you recommend one to start applying for jobs?
Are all blue team roles typically at SOCs? I’m in the middle of my appsec training but have very much enjoyed the DFIR stuff I’ve done on THM and elsewhere. It’s making me rethink my goals. Congrats on 100k! It’s well deserved.
Congrats on the 100 k🎉 subscribers! On behalf of all my aspiring GRC professionals that will be watching this I'll ask......do you recommend this for us too or no? I saw your video on Microsoft cyber analyst and started that path. I Figured it would be good with the cloud info introduced in addition to cyber basic concepts and doing the labs would be good for my path. But then I'm seeing this and the wheels in my mind are turning yet again !😅😮😂😂😂😂
you don’t need this for GRC! there is currently no good training for GRC, so please wait because I have an annoucement soon that will fix this problem ;)
I am also interested in GRC, but I reckon getting an entry level GRC job isn't easy. I was thinking of starting from here, and the more knowledge, the better anyway. I feel like exhibiting more technical knowledge is an advantage... what do you think?
Congratulations 🎉 on 100K ! watched every video of you. I am from non technical background started google cert, will be this good option instead of Blue team Level1 ?
Hey Bro, you never disappoint. For complete beginner Would you recommend the Microsoft cyber analyst cert or Google cyber security cert before this HTB. I know you said both are good but which one if you had to?
Hi UnixGuy, Congrats on reaching 100k followers as I have just come across your channel this week and it has been of great help. I am currently in a ServiceDesk position and would like to break into Cyber security and would like to know if I go for the IBM cyber analyst, BTL1 cert/HT would it be recommended to go for cysa+ cert or is it not necessary and then do the project certs in your other videos?
hey mate, you could the cert that you listed but if I were you, I would first do the google cert: ruclips.net/video/6LIUhx95MCU/видео.htmlsi=2LUo4oIJLIeXTsYS then the projects: ruclips.net/video/LFlsDm8w36A/видео.htmlsi=NgzRK8zlrLfbZMmo then I would come back to this video and do HTB CDSA including the pre-reqs
Hello Sir - I have just completed the Google Cybersecurity Certification. Should I Now Do the Blue Team Level 1 Certification or the HTB Certified Defensive Security Analyst (HTB CDSA - The Above One ) ? I am Confused Sir - Pls guide me ?
Congratulations on the 100k subscribers! You totally deserve it! One quick question, if you take the Blue team level 1, should you still take this HTB certificate or do a specialization certificate?
hey mate, I would personally do this one as well, because it give you a great chance to practice the concepts (it’s not a must but that’s what I would do)
@@UnixGuy okay! I’ll do that too then. Especially this HTB cert has modules regarding threat hunting and digital forensics which are my interests to specialize on. Thank you!
Thanks again for the great informative video and congrats on reaching 100K. How long would you think resonably it would take a beginner to complete all these courses to get the certificate?
Hey man thanks for the great content as always! Would you recommend this hack the box certification before or after the blue team level 1? Or just skip it entirely? Thanks again 🙏🏻
Thanks for the video UnixGuy. I've been following your video about "FASTEST way to become a Cyber Analyst" and have just completed my Google Professional Certificate a couple of weeks ago. I commented on that video and appreciate your reply. I am now reviewing some further revision on Professor Messor and ExamCompass practice exams to possibly sit the CompTIA Security+ exam (Although I know you said this isn't really necessary). Would you recommend starting the Blue Team Level 1, or possibly start this Hack the Box - SOC Analyst Pre-requisite? Should I even bother with the Security+ exam or just get started on those two courses. Appreciate your advice and guidance. Thanks again !
@@UnixGuy Thanks for the prompt reply. Great, I'll get onto HacktheBox then make my way through the BlueTeam Level 1 after that 👌. Thanks again for your videos and guidance!
@@elwynll yes it is a fantastic course! HTB CDSA is a new course. They're both fantastic, challenging, and both will give you the skills you need for a job in cyber security
Hi, Unix! Congratulations with getting more than 100k subscribers already! I've tried the HTB prerequisite course, and it seems that they often give tasks which are more advanced than the material they teach. How do you think, should I struggle with it (use chatGPT aid, forums, etc) or do some easier courses like THM first?
Is this something I should complete before I apply? Or should I apply during completion? All I have finished is Google's Cybersecurity certificate program.
Hey Unixguy i have passed ISC2 CC. Thank you for your guidance. I will complete google cyber security certification in a few days of time. I know that HTB CDSA and BTL1 both are practical certificates. Which one would you recommend doing first after completing Google cyber security certificate??? Also should i do security plus after Google certificate and then HTB or BTL1 or skip it ? Your suggestion is really needed.
Hi Unix, I been watching your videos now a lot frequent. I did a year course in uni into cybersecurity but I got scared of what people were asking certain wise on Indeed so pursued another industry but I want to get back into the cybersecurity field. So you recommend do the Google Cert on Coursera then approach HTB after would that put me on track to landing a cyber spot in the industry :)? Amazing videos as always and happy new year.
I am a beginner in ethical hacking/IT. I am kinda of familiar with wireshark. Using azure for rdp/vm's. I know some python working with the requests library. I heard people say go for comptia certs. Would HTB be more useful and efficient?
I personally find the HTB servers and curiculum quite good but despite having the pre-requisites, the major flaw was that there was so much information crammed out in one "page/section" of a module. Therefore when you get to the module exercise it suddenly seems a bit less user-friendly and practical because unlike a manual, here you don't know where to go. Nevertheless, I looked it up on forums and many people seemed to not have this problem, so I think it's really a matter of people's pace and stimuli.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I heard similar feedback as well! well done on finishing it and you can refer to this roadmap if you want a different approach or if you want to broaden your skills: ruclips.net/video/rz0RL4Xue-A/видео.htmlsi=D3V1to9rRLDkCWzm
Thank you, finally you reviewed their great content. Great effort from you, as usual. Just can I know what jobs we can apply for after completing these modules and mastering them? I've finished about 70 percent of the SOC path and I don't really feel like the content only covers SOC LV 1. It seems to me that it qualifies as SOC LV2, so what do you think?
Thank you for your quick response, and good luck and lasting success. We will continue to support you for the Journey of a Million. You truly deserve it.❤🌹👌🏻
Thank you so much for introducing us to this certification, although how long could it possibly take for a beginner with very minimal experience in security to finish of this course from including if he or she has to do the prerequisite courses as well ? thanks again!!
Hello! Many thanks for the information! I’m curious on you perspective for their other 2 certs. And honest opinion on which is suited for who. I know everyone love to hear what will get you to cyber quicker with no experience starting out but a realistic take on if someone would take these courses, if they’d be actually prepared to do the work if they did land a position and wasn’t riddled by imposter syndrome.
Hey Unix. This new certification sounds very interesting. For some one with minimal knowledge in Cyber Security (But with extensive experience in Software) How long do you think it should take to go through the pre requisites and learn for the certification ? Thanks and congrats for the 100k subs.
Hey unix guy congrats for ur great milestone. Brother I want suggestion from you , plz suggest me 2 cybersecurity guided project name and one aws cloud project for my resume .
I currently have 2 more courses until I complete the whole Google Cybersecurity Certification. Would this be a good transition after? Or will going straight into the blue team level 1 certification be better?
Hey Unixguy first of all congratulations for 100k🎉 your videos are so helpful And now my question is as a complete beginner should i first complete Google and microsoft cyber security course or go for HTB CDSA? Thankyou
How does it stack up with Blue team level 1- I have the comptia trifecta- aws cert- linux fundamentals- and now im sort of confused on which hands on security course to choose
the certs you have are all theoritical so you will benefit a lot from this. both this and BTL are good. This one is more recent and have slightly more content
Unix, I have a question. Once I gain knowledge and certifications, how can I apply the knowledge to keep my skills sharp? I’m attempting a career change into cybersecurity and don’t want to just collect certs and knowledge that’s going to collect dust while I job hunt.
the courses that I recommend are filled with hands-on labs so you can constantly practice. Dont worry about forgetting things if you haven’t even started learning yet
can i subscribe to the monthly version of the silver membership for hackthebox to complete the whole academy module course for SOC Analyst instead of paying annually?
Hey Unix I wanted to ask for your advice, I recently got my CySA+ and I wanted to do blue team training that’s more practical. Right now I’m between doing the CDSA training since it sounds really interesting and covers a lot of info or doing the IBM Certified Analyst - Security QRadar SIEM Cert since the company that I work for uses Qradar (I work in IAM for the company btw but later on if possible I would be interested to see if I can work on the SOC). I want to do both certs but which do you recommend I do first?
hey mate, you are in a great position to progress! best to learn QRadar on the job itself, no need to do certs for that! Do the HTB CDSA because it will give you skills that can lead you to where you want to be :)

You responded so fast!
I want to practice my switches and firewall skills and stuff like that.
no, i don’t recommend either ccna or cissp. you’re doing the right courses and gaining the right skill - your priority is get a job!
Congratulation Unix on reaching 100k subscribers! Do you recommend to do the Google Cert or just do the HTB CDSA?
best to do the google cert first specially if you’re new to the field
Cheers from Switzerland !
hey Manuel, no I recommend you finish the google cert, you need to finish properly before you can tackle hackthebox cdsa
You are amazing! Your videos helps a lot! I cannot put in words all the help I'm getting from your videos. Thank you so much! One question: What is better for a beginner (already have Google CYbersecurity Certificate and ISC2 CC) the HTB CDSA or BTL1??? I'm stuck trying to decide between one of them!
both are great! I’d personally take the HTB :)
@@UnixGuy as I thought! Thank you once more! Have a great New Year’s Eve! Hope to see more and more content from you next year! 👍🏻
I have questions. Would you recommend this cert over blue team lv1 or does it not matter? If one does the HTB cert at what point during the cert would you recommend one to start applying for jobs?
watch this to the end:
ruclips.net/video/wLgkX6F3ZDA/видео.htmlsi=ldIx1-vkGoa844La
@UnixGuy just saw it, thank you so much
Are all blue team roles typically at SOCs? I’m in the middle of my appsec training but have very much enjoyed the DFIR stuff I’ve done on THM and elsewhere. It’s making me rethink my goals. Congrats on 100k! It’s well deserved.
not always in a SOC, it depends on the size of the organisation so they can be generalists, they can also work as consultants
Another nice , great video.
Please make a video about Incident Response Certs :)
this cert cover incident response, also my latest video cover that too
Congrats on the 100 k🎉 subscribers!
@@UnixGuy Thx that's all I needed to hear . I will be waiting patiently with a smile on my face of what's to come. Thanks so much!
I am also interested in GRC, but I reckon getting an entry level GRC job isn't easy. I was thinking of starting from here, and the more knowledge, the better anyway. I feel like exhibiting more technical knowledge is an advantage... what do you think?
@@TheVio888 according to Unix guy you'll have a solution to your problem soon. Be patient! Lol 😆
@UnixGuy would soon constitute before the end of 2023 or more likely early 2024? Either way I'm stoked as a aspiring GRC professional! Thanks again !
Thanks, been waiting for this review. If you had to choose between HTB CDSA, BTL1 and THM SOC L1, which would you go for?
they’re all good and of similar price, you can’t go wrong with either
honestly id go THM (cause its not a cert) > BTL1 > HTB
@@warlocksmurf Why you say Trytohackme is better? can you explain? im interested in one of these program.
Congratulations 🎉 on 100K ! watched every video of you. I am from non technical background started google cert, will be this good option instead of Blue team Level1 ?
They’re both good. This one is more recent and have slightly more content!
best of luck :)
Hey Bro, you never disappoint. For complete beginner Would you recommend the Microsoft cyber analyst cert or Google cyber security cert before this HTB. I know you said both are good but which one if you had to?
Do the google cert before this so you get some handson practice with Linux :)
@@UnixGuy Thank you brotha
Hi UnixGuy, Congrats on reaching 100k followers as I have just come across your channel this week and it has been of great help. I am currently in a ServiceDesk position and would like to break into Cyber security and would like to know if I go for the IBM cyber analyst, BTL1 cert/HT would it be recommended to go for cysa+ cert or is it not necessary and then do the project certs in your other videos?
hey mate,
you could the cert that you listed but if I were you, I would first do the google cert:
ruclips.net/video/6LIUhx95MCU/видео.htmlsi=2LUo4oIJLIeXTsYS
then the projects:
ruclips.net/video/LFlsDm8w36A/видео.htmlsi=NgzRK8zlrLfbZMmo
then I would come back to this video and do HTB CDSA including the pre-reqs
@@UnixGuy your feedback is much appreciated
Hello Sir - I have just completed the Google Cybersecurity Certification. Should I Now Do the Blue Team Level 1 Certification or the HTB Certified Defensive Security Analyst (HTB CDSA - The Above One ) ? I am Confused Sir - Pls guide me ?
They’re both good. This one is more recent and have slightly more content
I start this today. Supposed to also try sec+ but I may push that back
smash this one and sec+ will be a lot easier for u
Congratulations on the 100k subscribers! You totally deserve it! One quick question, if you take the Blue team level 1, should you still take this HTB certificate or do a specialization certificate?
hey mate, I would personally do this one as well, because it give you a great chance to practice the concepts (it’s not a must but that’s what I would do)
@@UnixGuy okay! I’ll do that too then. Especially this HTB cert has modules regarding threat hunting and digital forensics which are my interests to specialize on. Thank you!
Thanks again for the great informative video and congrats on reaching 100K.
How long would you think resonably it would take a beginner to complete all these courses to get the certificate?
depends on how fast you learn and how much time you dedicate to it 🤷🏻♂️
Hey man thanks for the great content as always! Would you recommend this hack the box certification before or after the blue team level 1? Or just skip it entirely? Thanks again 🙏🏻
hey mate, its very similar to blue team , so
u can do one or the other, or both :)
From a complete beginner, would you suggest to take this after the google cert?
yes but you’ll need to do the pre-requisite track :)
@@UnixGuy Great, thank you I will
Thanks for the video UnixGuy.
Thanks again !
hey mate,
security+ is optional! I highly recommend you start with hackthebox pre-requisites. What you need is practical skills :)
@@UnixGuy Thanks for the prompt reply. Great, I'll get onto HacktheBox then make my way through the BlueTeam Level 1 after that 👌. Thanks again for your videos and guidance!
once you finish hackthebox, you should focus on scoring a job :) all the best and keep me posted!@@elwynll
@@UnixGuy Thanks UnixGuy. Do you still recommend the Blue Team Level 1 course you mentioned in your other video?
@@elwynll yes it is a fantastic course! HTB CDSA is a new course. They're both fantastic, challenging, and both will give you the skills you need for a job in cyber security
Hi, Unix! Congratulations with getting more than 100k subscribers already! I've tried the HTB prerequisite course, and it seems that they often give tasks which are more advanced than the material they teach. How do you think, should I struggle with it (use chatGPT aid, forums, etc) or do some easier courses like THM first?
hey mate, it’s perfectly normal and intentional :) it’s part of the learning process, google as much as you need to :)
Thank you, great course so far -- the tasks are difficult but very rewarding once done.@@UnixGuy
💯
congrats for the 100k ¿do you recomend this cert or the BTL1?
both are great and a good chance to get more hands on practice, this one is a bit more recent and has slightly more content but both are great
@@UnixGuy thanks for the reply, love your videos keep the good work :)
Is this something I should complete before I apply? Or should I apply during completion? All I have finished is Google's Cybersecurity certificate program.
always apply! during and after!
This certification is must do
it’s great to have!
Do this one first and see how you go, and make sure you do all the pre-requisites because you’ll need them!
Amazing videos as always and happy new year.
hey Dan, yes those are great courses that will get you the job :)
@@UnixGuy ok perfect then I’ll start ok that. Thank you so much 😊
I started the HTB CDSA. but I don't know how to access the labs
please check with hackthebox support
Ok. Thanks
Can you please do a detail video about other ta certifications as well. For bug bounty and pentester cert
👍
Excellent review! How do you feel about this certification in comparison to the Offensive Security SOC -200 (OSDA)?
hey mate, I’m not familiar with it, but offensive security are good at ethical hacking
amazing
Thanks
I am a beginner in ethical hacking/IT. I am kinda of familiar with wireshark. Using azure for rdp/vm's. I know some python working with the requests library. I heard people say go for comptia certs. Would HTB be more useful and efficient?
yes
I personally find the HTB servers and curiculum quite good but despite having the pre-requisites, the major flaw was that there was so much information crammed out in one "page/section" of a module. Therefore when you get to the module exercise it suddenly seems a bit less user-friendly and practical because unlike a manual, here you don't know where to go. Nevertheless, I looked it up on forums and many people seemed to not have this problem, so I think it's really a matter of people's pace and stimuli.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I heard similar feedback as well!
well done on finishing it and you can refer to this roadmap if you want a different approach or if you want to broaden your skills:

@@UnixGuy I didn't finish HTB CPTS, that's the point. currently doing the TryHackMe path.
Thank you, finally you reviewed their great content. Great effort from you, as usual. Just can I know what jobs we can apply for after completing these modules and mastering them? I've finished about 70 percent of the SOC path and I don't really feel like the content only covers SOC LV 1. It seems to me that it qualifies as SOC LV2, so what do you think?
dont worry too much about “levels”, apply yo ALL jobs that are on the defensive side / cyber analyst type roles
Thank you for your quick response, and good luck and lasting success. We will continue to support you for the Journey of a Million. You truly deserve it.❤🌹👌🏻
thank you my friend 🤝
Hi! Im wondering if getting a student subscription would be enough for the soc path as getting the silver one?
the student subsecription is a silver subscription but with a discounted. To confirm, please contact hackthebox support team
This course or BTL1?
They’re both good. This one is more recent and have slightly more content. I would personally do both :)
Can you advise the best resources for the AWS Security speciality???
covered here:

Thank you so much for introducing us to this certification,
although how long could it possibly take for a beginner with very minimal experience in security to finish of this course from including if he or she has to do the prerequisite courses as well ?
thanks again!!
Hey, no idea how long it’ll take you because everyone learn differently, but make sure you also do the pre-requisites because you’ll need that
I've also got ejpt2 paid for so maybe do that straight after cdsa and throw a splunk cert in there somewhere also
awesome certs!
Hello! Many thanks for the information! I’m curious on you perspective for their other 2 certs. And honest opinion on which is suited for who. I know everyone love to hear what will get you to cyber quicker with no experience starting out but a realistic take on if someone would take these courses, if they’d be actually prepared to do the work if they did land a position and wasn’t riddled by imposter syndrome.
their other certs are for penetration testers, they’re all great
What about this certifcation and training compared to the BTL1?
both are great, pick one
Hey Unix. This new certification sounds very interesting. For some one with minimal knowledge in Cyber Security (But with extensive experience in Software) How long do you think it should take to go through the pre requisites and learn for the certification ?
Thanks and congrats for the 100k subs.
hey mate, no idea how fast you learn and how much you can dedicate to it! allow a few months…
Hey unix guy congrats for ur great milestone.

I currently have 2 more courses until I complete the whole Google Cybersecurity Certification.
Would this be a good transition after? Or will going straight into the blue team level 1 certification be better?
This would be a great transition after the google cert, start with the pre-requisite and have fun!

Thankyou
if you’re starting from zero, you can benefit from doing the google cert first :)
@@UnixGuy Thankyou so much for your guidance 💖
If I completed the Google cyber security training do you recommend the pre requisites. Or it's good if I just just jump in the course.
yes you will need the pre-requisites for sure!
How does it stack up with Blue team level 1- I have the comptia trifecta- aws cert- linux fundamentals- and now im sort of confused on which hands on security course to choose
the certs you have are all theoritical so you will benefit a lot from this. both this and BTL are good. This one is more recent and have slightly more content

yes that would be a great next step but make sure you do the pre-requistes as well
@@UnixGuy Thank you Sir 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Unix, I have a question. Once I gain knowledge and certifications, how can I apply the knowledge to keep my skills sharp? I’m attempting a career change into cybersecurity and don’t want to just collect certs and knowledge that’s going to collect dust while I job hunt.
the courses that I recommend are filled with hands-on labs so you can constantly practice. Dont worry about forgetting things if you haven’t even started learning yet
Would you recommend HTB CDSA over BLT1?
both are fine
@@UnixGuy thanks for the fast reply! Also for goverments?
no difference
Hi UnixGuy, what do you think about the SecOps Group certifications, seems they are very practical, like Certified AppSec Pentester. Thank you!
never heard of them :)
can i subscribe to the monthly version of the silver membership for hackthebox to complete the whole academy module course for SOC Analyst instead of paying annually?
I’m not 100% certain, please check with hackthebox directly
I’m trying to start on these modules but i’m not able to find them. do i need to buy the subscription before i can see them?
yes they’re not free
Are these the courses recommended to take after the google cuber security analyst cert ?
yes :)
After the google cyber cert, would you still recommend the BTL1 or CDSA?
Underrated Cyber Security Certs that WILL get you HIRED

Hey Unix I wanted to ask for your advice, I recently got my CySA+ and I wanted to do blue team training that’s more practical. Right now I’m between doing the CDSA training since it sounds really interesting and covers a lot of info or doing the IBM Certified Analyst - Security QRadar SIEM Cert since the company that I work for uses Qradar (I work in IAM for the company btw but later on if possible I would be interested to see if I can work on the SOC). I want to do both certs but which do you recommend I do first?
hey mate,
you are in a great position to progress! best to learn QRadar on the job itself, no need to do certs for that!
Do the HTB CDSA because it will give you skills that can lead you to where you want to be :)
