Why would Earth be the only planet/mass in our entire universe that's not round? We can look up in the sky and see for ourselves that the moon, the sun, and other plannets are round. Why would earth be different than all the other objects in space?
I am a true conspiracy nerd. I am the first to call out false flags and question everything. But after countless hours of research, I gotta tell you, the flat earth just ain't it. In fact, there's a lot of reason to believe that the flat earth theory was created by high government sectors for the purpose of making conspiracy theorists look crazy, by lumping us all together, acting like people who believe in MK Ultra (a proven conspiracy) are just as nuts as people who believe in a flat earth (a false conspiracy created by them to make people doubt every other conspiracy). Being a sphere just makes sense if you understand the basics of quantum physics, how gravity forces objects floating through space to condense into a ball. The higher the mass, the rounder the object. What we classify as planets are objects that have a large enough mass that they are round in shape (which is partly why pluto was dismissed from the list). It does not make sense that every other object in space would adhere to this law except for earth. You can see with your own eyes- the moon, for example- that it is possible. A massive ball of land floating through space is possible. So why would we be the only object that did not condense into a ball and fall into the sun's orbit?

This was a great way for JP to "Awaken" his followers because the things he is saying make perfect sense and he isn't being silly and sarcastic when explaining all of this. His only real sarcasm lies in his character's name, how he's dressed, his gullible demeanor, and his cheap props (cardboard for wipe board and the towel on a pvc pipe). But he's not acting super sarcastic and silly as usual, he's being sincere in the info that he's sharing and rightfully so.

I have a friend who was a Air Force fighter pilot. When he finished his time in the service he joined United Airlines as a 747 pilot.
He has flown for >30 years so I asked him: "Did you ever see the curvature of the Earth at any time in your career while flying?"
His response was a quick response NO.
He answered my question but it seemed as though he did not want to further the discussion.

Fact is, at 30,000 ft the curvature will be very difficult to discern. If there is a crisp horizon and a wide field of view and you look very closely you may detect a slight, very slight curve. Nothing surprising or conspiratorial about it. The earth is frickin' huge. Go up 60,000 ft and on a good day you'll see the slight curve.

In any case there is reason that people make a big deal of of very high performance jets like the SR-71 and U-2 and MiG-25 and 35 and brag on video headlines "curvature of the earth visible!" Because you have to go well above normal flight levels to even start to see it.
The incredible level of complex deception to make this alleged lie up and sustain it over hundreds of years _for no apparent reason_ just see defies comprehension. What, they paid individual ship captains to lie in every single account of ships coming mast-first over the horizon until coming "hull-up" at closer range? Not a single one blabbed ever, huh? And all for what, because it's _that important_ that the great unwashed are tricked into thinking we live on a globe instead of a disc...why?

Having a flat earth could be convenient. All the garbage problems solved, just chuck it over the ice wall. No fiddling with rockets to get a sattelite into space, just chuck em over the ice wall. Water levels rising? Scoop it over the ice wall.
I don't think that's exactly how they explained the flat earth works.
I didn't say I agree'd with the flat earth. I just researched it because I like to have a good argument from both views. If you get upset through me implying that's not how it works then you should just stay away from anything online. Also if the only things you can say in an argument are rude comments, you should keep to yourself. I did nothing wrong and I said nothing offensive in any way so just keep your mouth shut and your fingers off the keyboard.

Akatsin Actually, that's similar. Our government won't let us see the wall, and whenever we try traveling in one direction to see said wall, we end up going north, so we go in a circle. It is impossible for mere citizens to see the wall, as maps, compasses, GPS's, and all other methods of navigation have been tinkered with by the government so we can't find said wall. I don't believe in a Flat earth and I like to make fun of people that do and fuck w/ them, but that's how they perceive that.
Lunar Prism I like that you researched your facts whether you believe it's flat or not. It's cool because it allows you to have an intelligent arguement, rather than calling people crazy or stupid when they mention the flat earth. I personally like the idea of the flat earth more. I don't really believe in it per say, but since if it's flat we are the center of the universe, which makes life seem more meaningful y'know? Rather than just a grain of sand compare to the basically infinite number of planets which makes us feel like nothing we do really matters.

Spherical trigonometry is actually a thing. Euclidean trigonometry doesn't work on curved surfaces, it requires a different formulation.
Trig is flat. It only exists on the x y plane. I wish i knew this in my "Theoretical Alternate Power Sources From the Future" class. ;)

Spherical trigonometry is a real thing. When you have curved surface (planet's surface) or curved space (like you need to use in theories about the universe and gravity) the usual plane geometry for flat surfaces does not work, for example: your "usual" triangle has the sum of all angles 180 degrees, but on a sphere it is more: if you took Earth and said point A lies on the equator, point B lies on the equator, point C is the north pole, then you have 2 times 90 degree angle (at points A and B) and some angle at point C. It is used for example in astronomy in pointing out object's location on the sky.

Well, that depends:
1. Are you using both words as “Nouns” (which would be improper English as the word “sarcastic” is strictly an adjective [unlike “sarcasm” which is a noun]);
OR
2. Are you using “sarcastic” as an actual adjective to describe the proceeding noun (or possibly verb): “Parody”?
In the case of option “2”, nah, it’s not a “double negative” because you’re using the word “sarcastic” to describe the character or quality of the parody itself.

It's September 2020 and RUclips has put a Wikipedia article attached to this video explaining how the flat Earth concept is not correct. I find that almost as funny as this video.

You know what I find sooooo interesting about FE Or rather Globe Earth…is how the most suspicious phenomena isn’t physical…but rather psychological.
The level to which people will go to defend the shape of their reality is very curious to me. The level and certainty at which people believe the globe earth is far far beyond their ability to actually defend it. I suspect this is why they become emotional about the subject if it goes on longer than the basic involuntarily reflex ridicule.
Very very few people actually have the knowledge needed to properly defend what they so passionately believe in. Which is why they eventually degrade into emotional outbursts and such.
At least this has been my experience when addressing the subject with people.
Additionally I find it quite interesting that many of these basic questions that provide deeper thought on the shape of our realm seem quite obvious yet never considered by most people. It’s almost as if their mind had never been given permission to actually think…and rather went straight into a strongly held belief masquerading as knowledge.
Curiously, the level at which previously the whole world seemed to agree with these convictions without proper reasoning for them…is beyond suspicious.
This psychological phenomenon alone is a large enough red flag to bring almost everything into question.
And for those who don’t, won’t, or can’t understand the journey of a “truther”…let me put it simply.
When you see through one lie, you will see how easy it actually is to get people to believe these lies. You will realize the difficulty isn’t in deception…the difficulty is getting people to see the lies. Its like falling dominoes…one lie held up by many others. A single thread that when pulled will unravel the whole veil of deception. Once you acknowledge one lie you are forced to confront and consider how many more are there? And you proceed with the same approach that revealed the first deception.
There seems to be some existential mental construct that keeps them from acknowledging they have been lied to. They have a deep existential vested interest in these lies somehow. It’s super bizarre for someone like a truther to witness…
Id imagine it’s similar to NEO when he takes the red pill but wakes up having to eat slop, wear rags and live underground…the truth wasn’t pleasant and as such there is an comforting interest in fantasy.
The mind is armed to protect itself from the unpleasant reality and certain fantasies are a defense against a existential threat.

In my personal experience I've seen the emotional trigger more on the flat earth side. I am a truth seeker myself but what I do not' do is jump on the bandwagon of beliefs or ideologies just because we have been told so many lies, they have also added some truth to the mix. I believe part of our path and purpose is to really tap into our intuition and discernment so we can see the wood for the trees, discern what is true and what is false instead of throwing the baby out with the bathwater.... I believe that is exactly what they want us to do. I have done some research on both sides and there is credible evidence that it is not flat however I can't prove it so I I'm not going to say it is definitely a globe or it is definitely flat. What I will say though that from observation that these dark lords love the divide and conquer tactic and I feel the flat earth v the globe is another one of these traps to keep people fighting against each other instead of coming together and disconnecting their energy from their enslaving toxic systems.

You know, when I first heard the flat Earth theory I thought it was absolutely ridiculous.
However, I must admit after I started doing some research... there were some extremely valid points to it, as well as a surprising lack of what I would call irrefutable proof that it's what we have been told. I researched for a couple years. And I have come to the conclusion that for some reason, we have been mislead about the truth of this matter. Which is very odd.
To those who make fun of flat Earth theory folks.... I think you should do some serious research. You might be surprised.
One thing I found out for sure is that NASA lies and contradicts itself constantly, the pictures we are shown are all CGI. Why no actual pictures of the Earth that are not CGI?
NASA has a budget of 54 million dollars a day, and we have to hitch rides with the Russians because we don't have any hardware to get to the ISS? Just a couple of the oddities I found.
The earth is round. Gravity alone proves that the Earth, and every other object with enough mass, is round in shape. If you don’t believe in the concept of gravity, then I don’t think you can be taught/shown that the earth is round through any logical process.
If you say “gravity is just a theory” then you definitely don’t understand science or the scientific method.
Food for thought. Why does every scientist, mathematician, engineer, pilot, and ship captain believe the earth is round? Why do people who’s job it is to navigate the world do so under the assumption that the earth is round? They make that assumption because it’s been proven to be true by their own observations of reality. You don’t have to trust some government entity. You can go to your average, working class open-ocean fisherman and they’ll tell you the same thing.

I’m also an engineer that has relied upon the physics and math equations that, among other things, show that the Earth is round. I’m not addressing particular things you’ve said because it’s literally just regurgitating a single flat earth talking point about NASA faking their photos and the fact that they have a budget. I understand mistrust in a government organization. I’m right there with you. But you have to mistrust them for better reasons than “I believe their NASA photos are completely faked”. First of all, I can only think of 2 reasons NASA has for sure used CGI which is for composite imaging of the earth to make their pictures useful, and their images from radio telescopes have been colorized because radio telescopes literally don’t pick up visible light. They detect longer wavelengths of light that we can’t see, so they will use photo editing software to make the pictures colorful for the people who don’t care at all about images from deep space.
The evidence the earth is flat is far far weaker than the earth being round. That’s simply a true statement and if you don’t see that then you’re just not trying to see it, and that’s a ‘you’ problem, not a ‘me’ problem.
I both understand and can apply the mathematics and physics to prove myself correct because I’ve had to write proofs for the equations I use. Writing proofs (if you don’t know what I mean by proofs, google mathematical proofs or look up the proof for the Pythagorean theorem) takes time though, and can’t exactly be done in a RUclips comment.
Please understand, I’m trying to be helpful here. I would prefer you to go look things up for yourself, but you have to go into it understanding that there are people far smarter than either of us that have spent their entire lives figuring all of this out. Many of these people had to prove they were correct before widespread adoption of their ideas was allowed. We still use Newtonian gravity and mechanics in college. Not necessarily because it’s 1000% accurate, but because it’s 99.999% accurate, which is good enough for essentially every application outside of some very niche cases like space exploration and maybe certain quantum experiments. In those cases, we use Einstein’s general or special relativity.
How is it possible to do "serious research" and still believe in flat earth? People that lived 2000 years ago, who proved a globe earth without modern technology, would be spinning in their graves right now...
