The ev6 here in Finland starts at over €48,000 ($78,000 Australian ) I would love one but way out of my pay grade at the moment 😢
Kia EV car price in Australia is fkn crazy high, why would anyone wants to burn their cash
Do you ask that same question of anyone that buys a Land Rover, BMW, Merc, Audi, Land Cruiser or Patrol?
People can waste their money on anything they want. You'd do well to not judge people for that ...
Lease deals in California are incredibly good.
The new Kia EV6 GT looks good
Maybe when they build a smaller car in the USA I'll be interested.
Because there not selling
What is revux?
Isn't Hyundai suppose to start making BEVs in Georgia startng in Dec '24? And then buyers can get the $7,500 BEV credit. Seems like it's better to wait until then
Awesome cars- in-laws EV6 long range is awesome. No Tesla spike cameras and audio -simple to use. Love em
Id get an ev9 if it was under the lct so i could get the fbt exemption on lease.
Every new partnership announcement gets me more excited about Revux!
If the EV6 gets close to price parity to the BYD Seal, I will happily have a KIA garage.
am looking forward to the ev 5 seems like a good price point
Not only extra range, but a NACS charger port!!!!!!
The reason I got revux is because I believe decentralization is more important than anything else.
If you are worried about the fact that the EV6 is about to be updated, do a 2 year lease....
Also, it's interesting to see how all the 'experts' were wrong...they predicted that there would be crazy demand for the EV9....It's been on the market for less than 6 months and they are already discounting it heavily. They made the same predictions for the VW Buzzzzz. If you want to buy the latest "hotness" I recommend waiting a couple months. It would be a Beyonce to pay sticker and have the car marked down $10,000 a week later....
Yeah, what did you expect? Starting prices €66.000 and up. Oh, whow, we can give a discount of €10k . . . . .
For that €66k they could give a discount of €20k and still make o profit.
Excited to see how Revux will disrupt the payment industry. Huge potential, and still in presale phase!
Hi Sam. Do you proof read your scripts? You said the EV9 has 7 ROWS (but you really meant 7 SEATS) ;-). Also watch out for a new TV show called THE LAP in an EV9 doing 'The Lap' around Australia. Nice scenery so far...
I am a Bolt EUV owner for over six months now. I had a EV6 rental car a few days. The EV6 drive quality is far inferior compared to the tiny Bolt EUV. I felt that the car weight of the Bolt EUV is under the drivers and for EV6 is behind the driver. This could affect greatly in snow and rainy conditions. Technologies wise EV6 is up but overall built quality wise down. The seating in the EV6 is not as comfortable as Bolt EUV.
No more FOMO for me - I'm all in on Revux!
EV9 way overpriced
The EV9 is morbidly overweight and overpriced.

NOT IN UK
What discount???
They can’t sell them that’s why. They also have the cheapest paint on them. I work as an auto glass installer and we did the back window on a kona EV. Removing the plastic cover and basic tape, we ended up pulling off the paint from around the broken hatchback window. My manager had to pay $1000 to repaint the hatch. It also developed a cracked windshield while it was sitting at the body shop so we will have to replace that as well.
They are absolutely cheap trash.
Gens Y and Z are too young to remember how horrible Hyundais were when they first went on sale in the US. They no longer fall part before they are paid for, but dead Hyundais and Kias are to be found roadside everywhere. Right down there with Nissan and Dodge.
Buttons buttons everywhere! Sigh!
They can't give them away
Forget the rest, Revux is where it's at. Potential moonshot!
No Kia discounts in France : the EV6 prices start at 49 690€ for the RWD 170 HP Air Active and 65 490€ for the AWD 325 HP GT-Line. And they don't get anymore the Government incentive of 4000€ because they are not made in EU. Contrary to the launch year, the prices are now completely NOT competitive. They will have to decrease the prices for the refresh EV6 if they want to sell...
Well, when their own KIA Forte ICE, is crushing all of their EV vehicles (combined), I can see why there are discounts... and then there's Tesla.
Kia/Hyundai is making the best EVs of all the legacy auto.
2 days Ago he put out a video saying hoe Kia USA sales have rocketed 144% and now we see why - massive discounts and obviously being sold at a huge loss.
Its expensive AF in Eu..EV6 like 55k+ eur/60k+ $... pretty bad for car that will last 8-10years
8-10 years?
@@Jamessansome NCM chemistry, with KIa new battery cost more then new car
They do not last 8-10 years based on the number of Kias and Hyundais dead on the roadside.
@@DavGreg Can't remember the last time I saw a KIA EV or any other EV on the side of the road.
Plenty of German, French & Landrovers though. All ICE powered.
We must live in very different areas.....
@@frmol1
Kia EV6 was released in 2021. How is it remotely possible that you can state they don't last 8-10 years. The oldest Kia EV6 at most is 3y 2m old.....
Just sounds like blatant disinformation to me.
Do a video on kid rock and his cybertruck. Google him u will like it.
I'll pay $27,000 for it if it has Lithium Iron Phosphate battery with 500 mile range.
Kia evs very expensive not sure why it's just a kia
FOMO kicking in as Revux partners with more and more merchants. Bullish!
Korea dumping excess capacity on the world but then Yellen says nothing?
Too big for me. Niro is more practical for me but they are overpriced.
Hello my friends welcome to the channel im sam i farted!
Look we have a new affordable KIA EV GT, it starts at €25k. . . .eeeh oh, no sorry, at an insane €68K.
The new brainfart of the EV manufacturers, that promises Tesla's and KIA's for sub €25k for many years now.
Used a car broker and they found me an ev9 air for under FBT threshold $89335AUD on a novated lease.
- No GST payable on the car
- No GST payable on running costs
- All costs of the vehicle are pre-tax salary.
Hope this helps anyone in OZ considering one.
Take note if the govt increase threshold next FY then Kia will definitely increase the entry level price of the EV9.
What actual range are you getting. The air was on my shortlist, but being NMC battery vs model Y LFP
@@epacris78 I’ll let you know! Arrives in 2 weeks.
Afternoon mate
Cheers mate
Every discount matters to help offset the massive depreciation of used EVs.
Buying an ev with no potential for full self driving will end up being an unwise decision.
Very few drivers want self driving and if they care what their car looks like they won't use it. However, buying any EV with a CCS plug is not good, better to lease and wait for the J3400 version to own it.
I prefer to drive
When the self driving actually works and is road legal, all current evs will be anyways obsolite.
They have been buying market share with cheap financing and pricing for years.
They also both make some of the ugliest cars on the planet.
Kia EVs are way way overpriced....
Yeah I cannot disagree with that at all....
@@norvellharris1792That must mean that it sells less than the company have calculated. I don’t know if is so…
Eve
And
Desperate times call for desperate measure. It still a KIA and feels like a gas car. You cant compare to a Tesla.
Well, it doesn't have a crappy Kia gas engine in it so there's that.
Still a SLA, which can't even make a engine 😂
They are both very cheaply made and have sketchy reliability.
All Ev’s deprecate like fuck now the full Ev market is saturated hence heavily discounted prices everyone who wants one has now and the people who would of considered buying one hear the nightmare story’s about crap changing high charging costs insurance costing a fortune not enough qualified engineers to work on them etc 😳😩
Costs are going down while ICE costs are creeping up as usual. As Sam says, as costs approach and cross the equivalency point EVs are going to really take off.
The FOMO is real with Revux - get in before it takes off!
