Bro!! Really nice list! The list is even more great when you get rid of all the cult-classics that everybody knows. I can imagine it took you a long time and some effort to make this. I hope this vid will get more views cause there are some shitty lists out there. Personally I hoped that Richard Linklater's work was somewhere in your list. I find Waking Life an underrated masterpiece that needs multiple viewings, the rotoscoping is such a trip, it brings movie-making to another level. What I find with my own personal top (25/10) best movie list of all time, is that it changes, even the number 1 spot. For example, for a long time it was Apocalypse Now or The Mission/A Space Odessy/Fight Club/12 Angry Men even Willow when I was a young kid :D:D:D but now I have no clue, cause how do you put another movie above something that is totally different. Its probably how you feel at that moment in your life, or something you revisited recently and now you look at it through another mature lens. Oh well This comment is becoming to long, before I know it, I write a book in this comment section hahahaha ;)...Again nice list,, Take care bro and catch yaa latersssssss
Thanks for you feedback and positive wishes! yea i figured it would be more interesting to get rid of most of the universally praised classics. If I included a linklater film, I wouldve included School of Rock lol I can recite that entire film i swear
Great video! its a shame I only recently discovered your channel but I'm subscribed now! 25. Blade Runner 2049 (2017) 24. There Will Be Blood (2007) 23. Monty Python & The Holy Grail (1975) 22. Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) 21. Alien (1979) 20. Brazil (1985) 19. Inglourious Basterds (2009) 18. GoodFellas (1990) 17. The Master (2012) 16. No Country For Old Men (2007) 15. The Big Lebowski (1998) 14. Jurassic Park (1993) 13. Ran (1985) ********* Recently watched so potential to rise but this thing is so under appreciated 12. The Thing (1982) 11. The Shining (1980) 10. Jaws (1975) 9. The King of Comedy (1982) ****** Scorsese's best and most underrated film imo 8. Blade Runner (1982) 7. Mishima: A Life In Four Chapters (1985) 6. Apocalypse Now (1979) 5. Pulp Fiction (1994) 4. Once Upon A Time In The West (1968) 3. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) 2. Boogie Nights (1997) 1. Once Upon A Time In America (1984)
I find it way too hard to rank 25 so I'll rank my top 10 instead and provide a list of honourable mentions 11-25 would likely be among. Honourable Mentions - Beverly Hills Cop Blow Out Carlito’s Way Ed Wood Ferris Bueller’s Day Off Going In Style (1979) Hara-Kiri (1962) Interstate 60: Episodes Of The Road Jean De Florette/Manon Des Sources Lethal Weapon Lucky Number Slevin Midnight Run Rocky V Scarface (1983) Scent Of A Woman (1992) Stand By Me The Breakfast Club The In-Laws (1979) The Majestic The Man Who Would Be King The Usual Suspects The World’s Fastest Indian My Top 10 Favourite Movies Of All Time - 10. The Wicker Man (1973) [Final Cut] 9. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest 8. Misery 7. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly [171 min. Cut] 6. The Terminator 5. Alien [Theatrical Cut] 4. Back To The Future 3. The Silence Of The Lambs 2. A Clockwork Orange 1. The Green Mile
Interstellar, Arrival, The Shining and There Will Be Blood are my favorites from your top 25 list. I saw A Clockwork Orange when I was a teen and don't remember much about it. I was probably stoned then. I've never seen Birdman. And I've never heard of Brazil. I'll check them out. I have learned to enjoy more thought provoking, aesthetic films with substance and less style recently. I guess I need to watch Drive again. Crime drama is my favorite genre. I've never thought about numerically listing a top 25. My favorites are mostly cliche though. GoodFellas, True Romance, Pulp Fiction, Falling Down, Collateral, Shawshank Redemption, Gangs of New York, Fight Club, The Departed, Born on the 4th of July, The Godfather, Interview with the Vampire, Minority Report, Snatch, Seven, The Wolf of Wall Street, Donnie Brasco, The Usual Suspects, American Beauty, catch me if you can, Bram Stokers Dracula ,Blood Diamond, The Shining, Public Enemies, Heat.
K Devil thanks for your long comment and feedback! Yes I would highly recommend to watch Birdman and Brazil. I would also recommend a rewatch of A clockwork orange of course. it’ll probably stick with you more now.. stoned or not.. it’s really good when you’re stoned though. lol and I still like your top 25 regardless. I wanted to put the wolf of Wall Street, goodfellas, catch me if you can, fight club and many others on the list so bad lol
"I'm going to put obscure stuff on this list that people haven't heard about." *lists Deadpool, Superbad, Interstellar, Arrival, The Hateful 8, The Big Lebowski, The Shining, Drive, and Children of Men.*
Yea I kinda overstated how many actual obscure picks are in here lol this was also back when I didn’t have a good idea how obscure films actually get. My film journey/discovery has evolved massively since then
25. The usual suspects 24. Parasite 23. Se7en 22. Die Hard 21. 1917 20. Hacksaw Ridge 19. Saving private Ryan 18. Spider Man: Into the spiderverse 17. The Departed 16. The Wolf of Wall street 15. Yea, I see you now have a top 12 list from a year later, so I'm guessing your opinion changed, well, I just started having a top 25, and I'm making sure not to change it, and I'm watching so many films it's really hard to come up with, and face it, the majority of these films are iconic, you'll find some that are unpopular ones to put on top 25, but you know there's a reason people choose so many iconic films, here we go: 25. Shrek 24. Shrek 2 23. The Good, the Bad, the Ugly 22. The Wolf of Wall Street 21. Blazing Saddles 20. The Princess Bride 19. Rear Window 18. The Dark Knight 17. Silence of the Lambs 16. Aliens 15. Scott Shepard well for me yea lol I’ve talked to three different people who have said that the pace was too slow and there wasn’t enough action that they expected.
haha, most of these seem like "recent films" to me. I'm not goign to type out a list right now but I think the vast majority of mine would be pre-1990. This is good though; i am learning about more recent/contemporary movies to check out. Some of these (The Witch, You Were Never Really Here, etc) have been on my list for a while already.
JM Casey haha Yea Im actually gonna make a current top 15 of all time because my list always changes as I watch new films I haven’t seen. There’s a good chance I’ll have some older films on that one. I’ve seen so many amazing films since I’ve made this video. Btw thanks for watching and comment on a lot of my videos :)

Cant wait to hear your thoughts on all that good stuff 🔥 I’d definitely pick up the Do the Right Thing Criterion blu ray it’s one of the nicest releases out there transfer wise and design wise!
I feel bad for putting YWNRH in my top 5 so it’s cool that someone else loves it enough to put in their top 25.
First Name Last Name that’s awesome to hear! I felt bad as well so it’s cool to know I’m not the only one who felt it was worthy lol
A clockwork orange is also my favourite film of all time. It’s probably the only film that I think is legitimately perfect
Great video! its a shame I only recently discovered your channel but I'm subscribed now!

I just watched Birdman. I loved it. It’s a cinematic masterpiece. Keaton really owned that role.
I’m so glad to hear that you loved it dude! I haven’t seen it in a while. I might watch it tonight
Idk how I can pick my favorite when Snare and Mercy are two of the objective best films ever made
Bruh stop im blushing so hard right now lol
"I'm going to put obscure stuff on this list that people haven't heard about."
*lists Deadpool, Superbad, Interstellar, Arrival, The Hateful 8, The Big Lebowski, The Shining, Drive, and Children of Men.*
Yea I kinda overstated how many actual obscure picks are in here lol this was also back when I didn’t have a good idea how obscure films actually get. My film journey/discovery has evolved massively since then
I am a little too obcessed with Brazil. Every scene in it is so perfect.
Miss X Brazil is perfection. Every time I watch it, I’m baffled how ahead of its time it was. Genius and hilarious film

Wait.. people thought Children of Men didn’t have enough action? SMH
Scott Shepard well for me yea lol I’ve talked to three different people who have said that the pace was too slow and there wasn’t enough action that they expected.
Tight shirt fam
Scott Shepard thanks fam
haha, most of these seem like "recent films" to me.
My favorite movie is The Usual Suspect or Tony.
Does Perry have a channel? Can we get his TOP 25 Favorite Films?
I encourage him to make his own channel but he hasn’t yet. This video is very outdated btw. I plan to make another one at some point this year
ima add this to my watch later, but homie hit me with your top 10 modern horror films aka 2000+
daniel flores that sounds like a fun video. That’ll probably be my next list! Thanks for the recommendation
i will comment a list of mine on that video when it comes out. lets see it sooner rather than later!
daniel flores haha alright I’ll do my best. Bare with me though because the semester started back up again and it naturally takes up more of my time lol
For sure man, completely understood. Great content, share your vids as much as I can.
daniel flores damn I really appreciate that! That probably helps me out the most! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the content so far
