Pawel I enjoyed your review of the X10S. I was surprised by your comments about FR-OS and then was annoyed when you didn't support them with factual examples. I have an X10S and I chose to run FR-OS because it seems to have the same functionality as Open-Tx but with a menu interface. I understand that Open-Tx users are going to gravitate to it because of familiarity. Please show the differences as more and more people with drift towards FR-OS. BTW I have other Fr-SKY radios using Open-Tx. Best wishes
I understand OpenTX sometime in the future will be able to flash the internal XJT module, in any case how often does this need to be re-flashed. Some folks actually prefer the FRos, so again this is not a short coming. Lastly if you cant afford the X10S buy the X10 its exactly the same except for the CNC sticks.
It is an amazing radio but FrSky are neglecting FrOS and concentrating on the ETHOS protocol so Pawel would you please present a video to cover the transition of the Horus X10S to Ethos...joe
1. The X10s is definitely not expensive. Look at other quality radios from for example Futaba/JETI, and the X10 series is a bargain if you compare price/build/features. Sure, build quality can't be compared to a JETI, but feature wise the X10s is very competitive. 2. FrOS is crap? Compared to what? If you're an OpenTX junkie that needs the versatility it can be frustrating, sure - but for many coming from traditional radio systems the FrOS interface is more familiar and has many of the traditional mixes that are used for configuring full house gliders etc.. Not everyone gets a hard-on from programming themselves to death. OTX is more capable, I'll absolutely agree to that - but that doesn't mean it's the best solution for the average user - and hence a very subjective observation.
Why so many people are complaining about the openTX flashing? I did it in 5 min and I changed from the EU to the international FW. It was so easy and I’m a musician. The radio is amazing. And the quality have a price. It’s not that expensive. Do you know how much are the spectrum radios?
The main problem is probably because manual from FrSky is a very bad one. It does not anwers the questions that I had but answers the questions I did not had
Hello I have a question about Radios. I want to by a new radio but I am not sure what radio I should buy. At the moment I think about Jumper T 16, FrSky taranis x9d pro Spacial Edition or FrSky Horus x10s. I am not sure which one is good.
@@FPVUniversity thanks for your fast answer I will inform me about the jumper T 16. And look who can send the radio to Germany. Thanks for your RUclips videos the videos help me a lot.
Paweł Spychalski Thanks for letting me know. I thought mine was different or broken. Slightly unrelated but I can't find information anywhere. I have an R9 receiver with the flat "ribbon PCB" style antennas. When using a horizontal antenna (TX) such as Super 8 do I mount my antennas (RX) flat on the wing of my plane. Thanks for the reply. All help greatly appreciated. The videos are also very good.
Thanks Pavel!

I'd go with Jumper T16 Pro

@@FPVUniversity I ordered a Jumper-t16-pro tomorrow it will delivered 👍
I'll keep my 9E for now...
Hi, when I have an R9M module inserted there is some play. About a mm. Do you have the same?
yes, it's loose. I made it tight with electrical tape

wszystko brzmi super👍👍👍 ale cena
chyba jednak zostanę z moim DX8
BTW do a sound pack for the open TX. Your accent is getting popular ;)
Nedyalko Petkov good idea but I'd rather a woman's voice.
ammm.... rather not ;)
aaah woman with slavic accent ? hmmm
It needs to be able to run the videos from the GoPro SD card, then it would be "THE RADIO".
interesting option and I'm sure CPU allows for HD decoding alreay ;)
OpenTX je super
